  • as someone who is 18 and still learning about cars I like that you demonstrate what each tool or gadget does and the different prices for anyone's budget rather than other youtubers who would normally just use more expensive items that most people cant afford. The book was also a wholesome thing to do cause like its something that would be useful and any kid that likes cars would be proud to learn something and tell there parents so its something educational and interesting for a kid to read since it has pictures and a story to it and then when they get older they could thank you for teaching you about cars.

My grandfather was a master mechanic for over 40 years and my dad is a weekend warrior mechanic for all his friends. They both passed on their love of cars to me, and I'll be doing the same for my son. I can't wait to show him how to do basic maintenance and teach him how to approach problems. Keep doing you, man!

    • I don't know the replies here are all about. If you look at the product page, it clearly states the ratchets are made in Taiwan. Taiwan and China are not the same country and many high quality brands, even Snap On, manufacturer their tools in Taiwan. Also, you can find a Chinese knock-off of almost anything, but that doesn't mean everything is a Chinese knock off.

    • Agreed MTBN. I first found Chris when I was looking for repair videos regarding my Ford Ranger about six years ago. Since he's had that Mazda B Series forever, he had some good ones for me. Just a tip Chris, if you see this... It's "a pair of scissors" or "a pair of pliers" when referring to the tool itself. Because it isn't a single "scissor", it's two "scissors" that make up the tool itself, so you have to use the "a pair of". As in, "And, on this side we have a pair of scissors". You only use "scissors", without the "a pair of" when you're referring to them in the abstract (some, any, both). As in, "Hey, do you have any scissors?" Even if you're talking about multiple items, you'd say, "I have three pairs of scissors in that drawer over there." I know you're a bit of a perfectionist in all you do, so just thought I'd point that out :) Cheers and Thanks as Always for Posting, Sev

  • Hey Chris, I hope you will read this, but thanks for the hard work, I recently saw the podcast of you. I know how hard it is and you are dedicated to get the maximum out of your videos to entertain us as much as possible, but most importantly, you teach us as much as possible and with every experience. I really appericiate your effort in videos and now that you got your own branding is amazing. Not for marketing or for the money. But for quality tools and books for maximum information and to help out as much as possible. And I really seen you grow from a "meh" ish sounding guy to an really excited guy about even the smallest bolt. That shows that even through hard times you try to stay positive to get the best outcome and result. Like what u said in the podcast. You are there to help out as much as possible to solve any kind of problem anyone can encounter with their vehicle. We all appericiate that even with the almost 10 million subscriber, you care about everyone. And you haven't changed your personality just because you are "famous" I know how much time it takes to get a video edited how you want it. I had it with my projects, 3 min what took me over 5 months because it wasnt good. Not just your hard work, but also your attitude. Like in the last videk Walking up the stairs, to donate $5000. Shows how wonderful you are. Your goal of having views is great, and your personality does not change. Alot of youtubers KZheadrs change as person just because they know they make a dime. Thank you Chris. You just don't teach people, and help people. But for all the effort you want to put in your videos just to keep us informed and entertained :) Now I will sit down and enjoy watching this video.

  • Awesome list, now I have more stuff to add to my wishlist, haha. That leathermen is a no brainer, I have a Free P2 myself and I use it almost everyday. From using it in residential electrical like installing outlets and circuit breakers to getting lawn equipment and some car work done in a pinch, it has saved my butt many times. Would defintely upgrade to the Free P4 if I had the money to blow in a hearbeat, I was in a situation today where that wood saw would've been real handy.

    • it might be true but considering that when going down you can only push about as much as you weigh, but when you push up you can add a couple kilograms of force and it will loosen up easier

      @PeterFeltersnatch852@PeterFeltersnatch852 Жыл бұрын
    • @@dat_platypus7007 The reason you push and not pull to loosen is mainly in the case of failure. Should the fastener be over tightened and you pull towards you and the tool slips off or worse breaks, All that force is directed at you instead of the ground. I have hit myself in the head a number of times when pushing wasn't an option and I was force to pull in a tight space under a car. And if you can't break a Lug loose with the rachet/breaker bar you are using, it's probably best to get a longer tool for more leverage or grab a cheater bar to really maximize your leverage point.
