  • The momentum Topuria has is tangible. I think he’s the next long term title holder at featherweight. I love Volk though. He’s one of the greatest of all time. I just feel times are changing and it sure seems like ilia is gonna get this done.

  • I think yair is more dangerous in the striking game than topuria. Topuria is mainly boxing based so volk should be able to nullify that easily. Thats why i think volk will win. I thought yair would catch him with a crazy kick or knee and no volk stopped that in its tracks. Never count the great out🫡

  • It's also a statistical fact that in all feather weight championship fights, the younger fighter has won 15 times, the older fighter has won 6 times, of those 6 times, Volk was the older fighter for 5 of those 6 wins..So, Volk has been beating the odds for his entire championship run, which is also a fact...So, I put zero stock in the 35 year old stat..Topuria isn't being Conor McGregor like, he simply is copying the Conor precedent, and it is delusional..People don't speak things into existence, that is not a thing, as much as we want to believe..When it happens it's a combination of hard work and luck..Topuria is weak off his back, which is where he will be..

  • I feel like what Luke Thomas said about the fight is true: I don’t think Volk can stay away from Ilia for 5 rounds. Volks usually gets clipped at some point in fights. And Ilia seems to hit very hard. Fear for my man Volko here. 😮
