  • Those little bits of wire in the the butane jet lighters are usually a ball of copper or another type of metal put there for novelty reasons to change the flame colour (notice the green flame). Its not to aid in lighting your cigarette and isn't ceramic or glass.

  • 3:17 - Nobody's mentioned it, but that's a pipe lighter. The angled head is so you don't have to bend your wrist as much, and the dual pressurized jets are intended to light a wide-bowled pipe full of tamped tobacco faster, more evenly and cleaner than using chlorate-phosphorous matches. Most pipe smokers today use one.

  • Fantastic video! With the green jet lighter, its a ball of copper that makes the flame green! I had one shaped like a gun with a rotating barrel. It lit red and green jet lighters, as well as a candle flame. It was very popular at the smoke pit in highschool 😆

  • I have a few lighters like this. One of them that was on this video was the tooth paste lighter but i also have some old lighters that are rather old but fun to have and admire.
