Stephen Holt, leader of Eastbourne Council, (formerly in charge of the BID, a Business Improvement Debacle where shop owners had to contribute to fund their own demise) and prevent Murray from eating free curry, as he has obviously ate enough free lunches! My question to the aforementioned is how will your green policies designed to limit travel etc help boost Eastbourne's tourist industry which happens to pay their wages albeit indirectly

  • Thank you for sharing your adventures. Bg smiles. Please be aware that on the 2nd of May, there will be ballots for Police and Crime Commissioner's and lawyer, Robin Tilbrook shares with us that the position of PCC is very important. They have the power over the police budgets and how it the money is spent. So please ask everyone to do their research on the candidates that are standing in your area. In Gloucestershire, Matthew Randolph is standing as an Independent.

  • It's all groupthink and I cannot even conceive of the laziness, stupidity and irresponsibility that lies at the root of the failure to familiarise themselves with the most basic facts. I doubt that they have even heard of the carbon cycle. If I hadn't witnessed the same during the so called pandemic I should never have believed it.

  • The climate crisis has been “an emergency” for 50 years. Each person exhales 2.3 tons of CO2. With 8 billion people, maybe we could all take turns at holding our breath. Also half of our urban air pollution comes from buildings. Central heating kicking out carbon monoxide, and particulate matter all the time. Maybe we could demolish some of the town hall buildings to reduce our carbon footprint. Of course before the 1850's we were coming out of a little ice age, so of course things have warmed since. While the temperature did rise 1.5 C since 1900, the world population has quadrupled, as too the agricultural food supply. Absolute poverty has fallen, mostly due to populations finding work in industrial production in the growing economies of the East, where 8 billion tons of coal is to be burned to fuel these economies in the coming year. Flooding is affecting greater populations, many of who live in flood plains. The climate does change all the time, usually in cycles, with too little to attribute the human factors, other than planning stupidity and public misuse of water resources. Most of these things are regularly attributed to human factors driving climate change. And yet few, if any, have data to show a considered opinion. You would think something important would have happened during this 50 year long climate emergency.

  • Can somebody please explain exactly what this sentence means: “In model pathways with no or limited overshoot of 1.5°C, global net anthropogenic CO2 emissions decline by about 45% from 2010 levels by 2030, reaching net zero around 2050.”?

    @MegaTruthseekers@MegaTruthseekers16 күн бұрын
    • I asked this question because it is the basis of "Global Warming". Therefore, all those 'pushing' this agenda need to explain to anyone else what their understanding of it is - and if they cannot ...(I'll leave you to fill in the rest)

      @MegaTruthseekers@MegaTruthseekers14 күн бұрын
    • Gobbledegook. I suppose it means their heavily modelled plan shows that the steps they're taking to 'reduce carbon' will work. Modelling = put rubbish in, get rubbish out

  • CO2 comprises around 0.04-0.05% of our atmosphere. To put this into perspective, a tennis court from one end of the court to the other is 24.77 metres. CO2 would represent 1mm of this length. We know that CO2 absorbs and radiates heat, but every single CO2 molecule would have to burn hotter and brighter than the sun to have even the slightest effect on our planet's temperature. Add to that the fact that the historical data clearly shows that CO2 levels increased AFTER the increase in temperature. Any logical thinking person would conclude that it was the increase in temperature which drives up CO2 levels - the opposite to what our Climate Alarmists want us to believe. It is only when these so-called scientists put the data through computer modelling that the computer turns the data round so that it appears that the CO2 is driving the increase in temperature. In Oct 2016 it was announced that all of the planets in our solar system including our sun were tilting because of some gravitational pull being exerted on our solar system from outer space. In Apr 2021 NASA announced that our planet was tilting because of Climate Change! In Jun 2023 it was announced that the earth is tilting because we are drawing too much groundwater! They just make it up as they go along. The ice cap on Mars is melting at the same rate as the ice on our planet, but that is apparently 'seasonal' and has nothing to do with what is happening here on our planet. The Earth's atomic clock has sped up and scientists do not know why. They also do not know why the rotation of the planet Mars has also sped up by a similar amount. With this gravitational pull on the Earth's outer core, one would expect there to be resistance from the Earth's molten core which will cause a build of friction which in turn will result in a build up of heat and gasses. Oh wait! Could this possibly be the reason for the massive increase in volcanic activity which we have been experiencing over the past decade or so? The melting of the ice is only occurring on the western side of Antarctica - where a volcano has appeared from under the ice at Pine Island. This volcano is clearly responsible for heating up the seas in that region. (This would also explain the melting of the ice in Argentina which is adjacent thereto.) A volcano has also appeared at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean and is warming up the seas. This is what is making the sea water acidic - NOT CO2! Look around at all the volcanoes which are becoming active. CO2 has absolutely no part to play in these events. Anyone who believes that CO2 is in any way to blame for all this is either delusional or just stupid and ignorant. It seems, however, that there are a lot of scientists who are prepared to put their name to this madness!

    @stephenphillips5673@stephenphillips567317 күн бұрын
    • Thank you - some of that I didn't know , such as the earth is apparently tilting because of the groundwater situation!! Yes, they make it up as they go along and as it suits them. Plenty of paid-off scientists to keep it all going - and as William Happer from Priceton said, if he was a young post doc just starting out in his career, he'd probably keep quiet.
