    • @@earthgirl7874 Really a piece of art! I deduct that you are very well educated (Ivy league?), pretty bright (perhaps an IQ of about 145, as Shakira's) , high autoesteem. It is amazing how you combine every detail to maximize impacting your audience. Your acting abilities are awesome. Besides all, you have an innate wonderful and lovely accent, kind of british, absolutely and astoundingly marvelous. One can easily see that you love what you are doing and that you are making your best effort to shine and be effective. I just felt sad not having the opportunity to get to know someone as you some 50 years ago as I, myself, gave lessons at some engineering universities, language lessons to german native speakers, lessons to expert bridge players, and training to IBM personnel and more than 3000 IBM customers. I can now see that knowledge is not the most important matter. The way you deliver your wiseness is, at least, as important. My mother was a philologist. She spoke around 12-14 languages (including neetherlands, hebrew, althochdeutsch, mittelhochdeutsch (old german), switzerditch (swiss dialect), langue d'oc, langue d'oil (old french dialects), native austrian) and was teacher of english, spanish, latin and greek at a brittish school in Chile). As in the Sorbone in Paris she had no way to survive and had to learn italian in just one week to teach it and earn some money . German was her native language. More to it, she had to teach Chemistry, Maths, Physics, in english of course, as the brittish teachers were called back to England to fight the nazis in the WW II. For that to happen she needed to learn by night what she had to teach the next morning. This is the first time in my life I find a woman with such a talent (or even better) as her. She surely knew more languages than you, but you are gifted as none. Chapeux! and thanks for your comment.

  • thank you for the information emma! I'd like to point out my favorites from these (I like to be a bit formal, but non-condescending) - interrupting, excuse me (or some form of that), idea is you stopping people in their tracks - open up to interruptions, feel free to stop me anywhere - confirmation asking, excuse me (and some form of that) - agreeing, simply I agree or I don't disagree or I don't have any complaints - disagreeing, I see what you mean, I don't feel the same way, that's not how I feel or I felt differently. lastly, agree to disagree - controversial, not everybody feel the same way - good bye, thank you so much. it's great speaking with you

I love your examples, I particularly like how you showed that by using certain phrases or words you can disagree with someone and share your view without stirring contention and the ones on How to change the subject.Truth is, I like all of them and will be sharing them. I'm a guy so I can't be part of your ladies project but that's ok I have KZhead. Love your accent. Thanks Emma for a relevant, refreshing video.
