these videos are not for entertainment, they are clearly "fair dealing" under UK copyright law and are exempt as they are reporting current affairs, as I am sure you are aware UK courts "bear in mind that considerations of public interest are paramount".
UK courts see the fair dealing defence usually only applies when part of a work has been taken such as small clips as per my youtube videos.
Reporting of current events
Under Section 30(2), fair dealing using any work for the purpose of reporting current events, with sufficient acknowledgement, is a valid exception to copyright. Photographs are excluded, however; Cornish, Llewelyn and Aplin write that this is "in order to preserve the full value of holding a unique visual record of some person or event" (22ND MAY 2018) Subscribe for more Jacob Rees Mogg.

Do you think that perhaps might effect your ability to be Home Secretary or Prime Minister? And what about the duty of every Muslim to implement and live under Sharia (where it's possible). Does that mean you would favour a Sharia State in the UK?

    • I wouldn't want any nation to be run by religious scripture. I doubt many would, even those who believe they should. The gay conservative posting below for example. But since the vast majority of people aren't backing either, I'm not sure what relevance this has. "It's okay to be shit because there's shitter" is a shit philosophy.

    • @@StephenTovey1960 I agree that accepting reality is required, but most religious beliefs are diametrically opposed to reality. People who believe in Heaven only do so because it seems to mean that they won't REALLY die, clearly in opposition to reality. And any idea that "bad"people will be punished AFTER they've died is just more of the same delusion. If we are expected to tolerate religious views that we don't agree with, in the name of tolerance, then religions should be expected to tolerate non-religious views that they don't agree with, in the same spirit of tolerance. Shoving those views down everyone else's throat is to be condemned. Most religious beliefs are laughable when viewed in the cold light of day.

I'm pro choice, and I support gay marriage, but I have to say that Jacob is probably the most admirable man in British politics today. He's honest and he stands his ground on his beliefs. He doesn't - as he himself said - chop and change to suit public opinion. This man should be leading the country, because whether I agree with his beliefs or not, I trust and admire him. • It is very hard to try to "catch someone out" when that person has very balanced and sensible views, has eternal calm and is open about it all. It's pretty clear that he illustrates perfect integrity and can differentiate between his own personal views and how to best do his job and what is fair to society on the whole. People with little or no integrity cannot see that or understand it. It is similar with liars, who constantly accuse others of lying and do not trust anybody, because they simply cannot understand what it is to tell the truth purely for the sake of telling the truth. She is a bully and he handled her very well, without being offensive.

As a gay man I can’t support J.R.M as 1) im a labour member and 2) im a gay man and have no respect for his views on our marriage. Until he can prove god is real and doesn’t want us to marry, then he can leave us alone. Having said that, I admire him greatly, he has such integrity and is honest which are two characteristics that are extremely rare in politicians.

At least with JRM there is no way he would get general support on banning gay marriages so if that's the only thing you disagree on then he would actually be an excellent person to follow on that basis (asides from being a Labour fan). I thought UK now had legally-binding same-sex civil partnerships anyway? It is really a difficult thing with these kinds of topics, where someone is following bible teachings, on which most Western countries have based their laws, it is very, very difficult to criticise too harshly without also attempting to denounce the Christian faith in its entirety (and therefore most mono-God religions too), especially when it is/they are so deeply embedded in the rituals of legal stuffs ("in God we trust," "God save the Queen," etc etc.)

    • O really? If you disagree with your first statements, you must have little integrity? Wow.... Whether what Mogg actually believes is balanced or sensible has nothing to do with him not being 'caught out'. If you go along with his 'tolerance is about tolerating opposing views' , you'd have to tolerate a politician that privately holds the views that sex with children should be legal, 'but it will not become policy as long as public opinion is against it', as well. As this fictive politician can also distinguish his personal views from how to best do the job. It is not a sensible argument at all. You can't be tolerant about everything, just for the sake of tolerance.

It speaks volumes that even though I have watched her at least 20 times I cannot tell you her name without looking it up. The real giveaway is that SHE NEVER LOOKS AT HER INTERVIEWEE when talking to him. The reason is that she is not conducting an interview, she is declaring her own 'progressive agenda' . She is not actually interested in Jacob Rees Mogg, or his sincerely held views as an elected member of parliament; she just wants to try and make him look bad. That is an appalling betrayal of the original values of the BBC - often referred to as 'Reithian' . . .under that system, the presenter/ interviewer is a MINOR figure, merely there to draw out the views of the important person - namely the one being interviewed. She however thinks that SHE is the important person, and he is only there to allow her to harangue the audience with her PC credentials as a Social Justice Warrior. The BBC is beyond hope now, it is just a leftist parody of itself.

  • Mogg "smashes it out of the park" every time he is asked a typical set-up question designed to malign him. The only keys to his popularity are honesty, integrity and an ability to know his own mind. It's amazing how receptive people can be when you live honestly and elucidate your beliefs as JRM does; even when they disagree with you. It's called 'respect' and JRM has mine :)

    • undilutedpoison I am in two minds about him. I like his honesty about his own views, most of the time, and feel he is articulate and polite in a way that certainly is lacking in the Commons. He is an excellent defender of sovereignty and one of the few people willing to defend faith properly. On the other hand, he is very irresponsible. He has fanned the flames of populism in deciding to change his view on the Lords to wanting the abolition of it due to it stopping Brexit, having been one of the few people correctly wanting to keep it unelected previously. His absolutist Brexit policy is one that will be politics by sledgehammer, his views on economics have been tried before and threaten the stability of the country, as they did in the 1980s.

Double standards. She is supposed to be impartial yet seems to have a disliking for Catholics, people should call up the BBC complaints and make a complaint saying you are offended by her racism toward Catholics, She might get fired if enough people do.

Give them GUILT (White GUILT/ HINDY Guilt) Does not matter as its politically divisive tactics using PC Culture as an excuse. Local Christian conversion missionaries use various malicious tactics to keep their FUNDING ROLLING as well.

If someone doesn’t agree with gay marriage then that doesn’t matter. All I ask for is tolerance. JRM and other religious people inarguably are v tolerant of people like myself. They don’t have to like it and pander to my every word ffs. A bill passed by Parliament is difficult to dismantle without significant support either way.
