#conorbenn has issued his first public statement since a VADA drug test returned a positive result for a banned substance.
Benn and promoter #eddiehearn insist there has been no violation and that the fight will go ahead as planned. They claim the Eubank Jr camp agrees.
The British Boxing Board of Control, however, say the fight is prohibited from taking place. #boxing

I don't actually blame him, tbh. I blame Eddie Hearn and the rest of his team for making this fight in the first place and filling Benn's head full of what-might-bes, the vision of revenge for his dad, and for the chance of having one massive payday in an otherwise average career. There was zero chance he'd have got to that weight naturally and healthily. He saw his one and only chance of a massive main event and payday, and went for it.
Benn said He gets test regularly, yes but how many times by VADA? Under UK drug testing a Fighter can basically take what he wants as long as it doesn’t up 24 hour before the fight.
passing a ukad test is a piece of cake, their testing ways are ancient, VADA is a lot better but not the best, WADA is the best and absolutely toughest of them all and people get around those tests also, Conor just used to shit testing and whoever his chemist/trainer is didnt do his research on VADA and now he is in a load of💩💩💩
