BTW if you're having issues with your mic on Discord (as shown in this video), turn off:
-noise suppression
-echo cancellation
otherwise you'll sound awful (those are built in to the microphone). That seemed to at least work for me.

Vocal clarity is more for calls or conferences. Mainly as phone calls dont handle bass well and it will make voice pop more in a call so it is more audible. However after a short time people in games will start turning you down as extended like this will start to cause listener fatigue especially men.
I will say after doing a quick audio test, the vocal clarity thing seems to add up. I'll probably keep it off going forward. However, I found volume normalization had the same issue as you described vocal clarity would.

hey man, I have the older blacksharks but I was so desperate for help, razer just updated and I sounded like a tin can and my presets got deleted. But these settings did wonders man thank you, had to make a few adjustments. put voice norm on in mic settings (50) put noise canc to (15)

I see vocal clartiy is also bugged for you. 😁 If you use the slider to change the vocal clarity nothing happens to the voice, it needs to be turned off/on with the checker. Kinda annoying, but maybe it is how it's working.
Your mic custom definitely sounded the best of the opinions. Also, im a little confused by the bass boost. You said you turned it up to 100 for the muc, but i thought that bass boost was for the audio.

Deberías elegir los auriculares Blackshark v2 Pro, THX es para audio espacial que personalmente no me gusta ni uso, ya que descubrí que tiende a empeorar el audio según mi experiencia. -Google Translate

To put it clearly, I was reffering to the option of Sound output of W11 when you click on the sound icon en then on the other one ha ha. In there, it show several option. It makes a differences if I use Razer headphones, razer speakers, etc? Because when is in Razer headphones and then I spin the wheel of volume it goes 30 to 67, 87, 100, for example
@@lautarogabrielcorrea2860 honestly on my computer on win11 it just shows up as Razer Blackshark V2 (headset) without any other options so I don't really know how to help here. You could just test each option by listening to the same song from the start and then changing what you have selected to see which one works best I guess. Sorry that I can't help any more than that.
Hey man I'm wondering if you would know why the headset still sounds kinda of muddy and far away when playing fps games. Gunfire sounds hollow almost as if there's a layer of sound missing. Really love this headset too and I have the settings as you suggested :(
The EQ settings I use sound good to me, but maybe try the built-in 'game EQ' settings that Razer Synapse has? It's on the same menu. I can't really help beyond that, I just applied these settings myself and they sounded fine, as stated in the video I linked the videos I got them from in the description, they'll probably be more help there.

when you were doing the sound eq it seems that you can go to only -5 where as mine can go to -12 any advice on what i could do
only the pre 2023 versions can go beyong 5/-5 Db, thats why he said his settings only work for the 2023 model

if you tap the button on your right ear, you can change between the different pre-existing things, but the only way to add custom EQ is through razer synapse
Do you have a new mic equalizer that I can copy after the new update that only allows us to change the values +5 or -5 max?
None of the EQ values for the mic are above or below 5.

@Szyl id prolly update the title to add PRO since the PRO and standard v2 headset are two competley different sounding headsets with different settings, also bass boost in ur ehancement tab shouldnt have any effect on ur microphone only the bass boost for ur speaker audio
Yeah, the standard model isn't even compatible with either version of Synapse.

try to decrese around 4k and 8k Hz Mic Input and test again :) Edit: i mean it depends on your pronounciation. Try to play around (decrease) frequencies from 2k Hz and above ...

@@szyl Yes! In your vid at 3:55 when you adjust your mic and you can see the frequencies on the right side. What you basically do is: You increase or decrease the gain (volume) of certain frequencies (31 Hz,...500 Hz,...4k Hz and so on) that are picked up and transmitted by your mic. A sharp S-Sound has a rather high frequency, so to fix this, you will have to decrease the EQ of higher frequencies for your mic input.
So my headset updated today on its own, and now my headset sounds weird as hellll, like if it had a filter or something for example if I shoot my gun it almost sounds like the bullets are far away, but some sounds are fine and clear.

Is this good for cod mw3? I need to hear things like footsteps (direction), doors opening and reloads. Also i'm on ps5
It should work fine. It won't be absolutely perfect, but it should be good enough for hearing footsteps, doors, and reloads. If you find that it's not good enough, there's a button on the right side of your headset that lets you switch to the presets made by razer (such as the game preset that should help with that stuff).

that might be just you, or it might be related to the volume knob on the headset. try turning that all the way up and see if that helps. windows can be jank w/ onboard volume like that.

I don't. I just use the custom EQ for everything.
also your Mic audio is not good adding normalization would make it sound 100% better and dropping vocal clarity. The clarity is what is making all your Ssssssss sound like that. Normalization is a voice compressor. You know what all pro audio recording are done using. Like Radio or any kind of DJ. You can do it post production. but without some during wont get good sound.

in my opinion bass will sound better if you just boost it with the EQ rather than the enhancement, also keep in mind if you turn up 31hz and 63hz to much it will make it sound muddy rather than tight bass....even though his headset does not have tight bass at all, its more relaxed sounding and why i might send mine back, only part i like about this headset is the comfort and the mic. Honestly the cans themselves are trash, comparing them to the maxwell and the stealth pro's, yes i know those are 300$ and i get it but there are plenty of other headsets that sound better than these, i personally dont understand why razer didnt up the game a little with the cans being more powerful, im guessing to get the longer battery life, honestly i would have taken a 60hr battery life for more powerful cans, if they had done that it would be a home run! If you turn on all of the stuff for the mic, it will drop the quality, i also leave my mic at 90% and just move it closer to my mouth and it sounds much better. Discord has its own noise suppressors and you done want two working against one another, it doesnt need a noise gate as it already as it enabled by default even though it says its turned off, when on, its stronger and that voice clarity will also degrade the quality, same with voice gate...leave them all off and its why you have to boost the signal on obs
I bought a maxwell and it broke in one ear after 3 months. I didn't drop it or anything, legit just connected disconnected and it broke. This mic and headset sounded fine to me as a non audio-file, and I did mention in the description what to do about discord. Either way, each person is entitled to their own opinion, and I'm glad you shared yours for anyone else with your mindset that stumbles across this.

wouldn't the mic be your input audio? or are you saying that razer synapse just goes and changes the windows setting to 100? either way, I still think it should be at 100 regardless.

Ok so I haven’t fully watched the video yet but I changed some settings around before due to static being heard on both my headset and mic(blackshark v2 or 2023) my problem is that I still hear the damn static on my headset even when I clip vids on ps5 my mic has a static on the background but only on the ps5, any1 have a fix?
Like you static on the headset? Or the mic? If it's the mic it might be cuz it's not plugged in all the way (at least for me).

check if you have sidetone enabled, and if you mean the microphone it does have the tiniest bit of it if you don't have the mic plugged in nice and snug

@@szyl hey thanks man i figured it oout i tried the firmware updater wasnt registering the headset so removed everything instaled synapse n headset poped up lol.. they whernt kidding the software is glitchy worried about future issues

these sound settings are not good. Well unless your a man that wants to have your high range intolerance to come earlier in life. They also sound horrible. Music is flat, movies sound like your watching thru a tunnel. The only thing i could maybe see this good for is FPS. as it emissive foot steps.
what sound settings would you use? as I said I'm not an audio engineer, this stuff just sounded solid to me.
I described above some. @@szyl bass caused by normalization will cause a lot of bass so for females this will cause listener fatigue. Your age group will determine how fast these things occur.

Ok so how do I save it to the headset, people say it saves on board to be switched to my custom eq and mic settings when playing on ps5 but I don’t see where to save it
it saves automatically. if you have multiple profiles setup (I don't), the button on the right side of ur headset is the one that you use to swap profiles.
