  • I have a 2019 corvette z06, it made a similar ticking noise in the front wheels when in motion during a turn. Found out it was common issue. Repair was literally to deep clean the mating surfaces of the wheel and hub. I was honestly surprised that it fixed it. Might be worth a shot, I’m not a mechanic by any means, but I was able to do this “fix” on my own at home.

    @erivelle1@erivelle117 күн бұрын

It is also the most common cockroach species in houses, apartments, restaurants, hotels, and other institutions. This is true not only in Pennsylvania but also throughout the United States and in most parts of the civilized world. " Jun 19, 2023 - Penn State Extension. This from a Colorado pest control company: "People say, “We don’t have tarantulas in Colorado!” Well we don’t usually… “Can you please send someone over right away. We have tarantulas in our produce section!” exclaimed the agitated grocery store manager. “And may I speak to someone. It’s urgent. We have frightened customers! One of them is causing a huge scene. We’ve got to do something quickly!” Tom listened to the store manager anxiously described the situation. “I am happy to get right over to your store,” he replied. “However, I highly doubt you have tarantulas. Sometimes, people see wolf spiders, which can actually get fairly large, and think they are tarantulas. Not to worry. I’ll be right over.” Dressed in plain clothes so he wouldn’t further alarm any of the customers, Tom conducted a thorough search of the banana section. Sure enough, he found a tarantula. The poor thing had hitched a very long ride all the way from the much warmer, tropical regions of Central America. He must have been snug and secure traveling such a long distance, nestled between the bananas. Very carefully Tom removed the creature, placed it in a grocery store baggie and carefully brought it in for all the pest control geeks in the office to admire and observe. The tarantula actually didn’t last long, probably due to the effects of such a long journey. We actually we do have mini tarantulas in southeastern Colorado but, as a general rule, we don’t have them in the Denver Metro area.

  • Great video again, I love these videos on special cars and especially that you do the correct way and diagnose and not throw parts at it, that is crazy expensive way to do stuff on these! My take on the popping. Audi (that most of this stuff is from) actually has a TSB on such a noise when turning hard at low speed, it comes from the wheel bearing surface rubbing onto the CV joint. Repair is to either replace both bearing and CV joint OR to grease the surfaces in between and re-tighten. I just think they may have installed just a part in place of the CV joint and now it isn't tight enough. Those CV bolts are specced crazy tight! Have had several audis with that sound including my own (A8L 2008). BTW Got those same brembo brakes (with ceramic discs) on my A8L, they are phenomenal at high speeds!

  • 13:22 D: Top mount/bearing. I got a similar noise after mounting coilovers on my previous car, and following instructions showing the wrong orientation of a washer below the top bearing. The result was the springs binding and giving a popping noise each time the frictiion between washer and bearing outer race was overcome.

  • Some later model BMWs (2020ish M3, M4, M5) have a popping noise like that in the front wheels and the fixes are various. Sometimes it's the hub w/ bearing, sometimes it's the mating surface between the wheel and hub (a friction disc is installed between them) and sometimes it's the lower ball joint. Even using a chassis ear it can be a little tricky to find which one it is because of how noise can travel through metal.

An F150 has of course has tons of info out there. I am planning some Seadoo watercraft upgrades and tune it, but even in this category it is highly recommended that even with off the rack tune to datalog after installing tune and upgrades and send data to the tune company to verify fuel settings. These seadoos make over 3hp /cubic inch at 8-9,000 rpm, and running too lean of course can fry engine. With unmodified cars not sure how often that happens.

  • Interesting with the caliper. Here in Australia we had Ford EA falcons that had 2 degrees of castor. Withe the 1992 model change EB falcon they got upgraded to 4 degrees of castor. We all of a sudden we’re getting the same type of noise. With a Supercars aggressive castor angle you will get a fore and aft rotation of the tyre while steering right and left. The pad gets a bit of wear where it mounts and can move fore and aft in the caliper. Notice it would only do the noise once per steering movement. As mechanics we received extra stainless steel shims to install to stop the pads moving. Also note it’s on the passenger side of the car. The passenger side of the car goes deeper into corners and generates more G forces than the drivers side. For example a left turn in the USA is a big turn and a right turn is a smaller radius so less forces. Here in Aus it’s all opposite. Great vid good sir. Do you think they’ve ruined the cars value by the front drive mod ?

You need to really put a huge amount of pressure back and forth and up and down to check for play. Even better is to lower the car down on the hoist to about an inch off the ground and put a large angled bar under the tyre and push up on the wheel to simulate the pressure that the suspension is under when loaded up. Cheers

    • most Gallardo owners delete them because buying a RWD Gallardo is almost double the price now and the AWD system is known to cause issues and fixing it is obscenely expensive - like the cost of replacing the engine and transmission level of expense. RWD conversions are affordable, and you gain a little bit of power because you eliminated friction losses from removing the axles and driveshaft that go to the front diff. Some even go the distance by removing the front diff entirely also. You're losing 25-30% of your power through parasitic friction losses just driving the front diff vs going RWD only that has 15-17% friction losses. The Huracan has a significantly better and more reliable AWD system than the Gallardo, and people are putting over 2000hp through them without issue other than upgrading the clutch pack.

    • you do realize Valentino Balboni, the famous Lambo test driver who has shaped the driving experience of every Lambo produced over 40 years, created a special edition of the Gallardo in his preferred spec: RWD. check the forums, plenty of owners say the conversion makes the car feel way more nimble and agile, easier on the clutch, and lighter. All that weight, extra drivetrain resistance, and force going through your steering knuckles isn’t worth the few times AWD actually benefits you.

    • I would remove my comment if 2 people proved how much better the car is in 2WD.

  • Sounded like something under spring pressure releasing. Perhaps the ABS system?

  • It sounds like the rotor is not fully seated and is moving back and forth. I heard a similar noise one time when my brother forgot to tighten the lug nuts of the car. With all the mods it may not have a factory rotor and that might be the problem.

  • owned an Lp560 Spyder for 4 years, outside of regular maintenance that was reasonably priced it only ever needed a new phase sensor and a power hood sensor. total additional spend around £3k over 4 years ownership isn't bad

  • It’s either a control arm, axle, or steering rack, I don’t know anything about Lamborghini’s but my Q50 made that same sound and it was the rack.
