Since last year my good friend Nick has been bugging me to take him out on the Snogo's and show him around. After our first few winter storms here in idaho it was time to go! We had a great time and nick was an absolute stud on his first day, Huge thanks to Bogus Basin for letting us play around up on the mountain. I had planned on doing a little more gopro but the cameras got so cold they ended up freezing and i lost a lot of footage. Oh well, still such a killer day! Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

I bought a ski bike this year and its such an amazing time! Started making some ski biking videos also. These are going to be everywhere one day!
Ok as a mountain biker next to a ski hill I need this now
Yes you do! So much fun!
I just ordered a SnoGo and can't wait to get it. I haven't skied since February 2019 and had a bad knee injury shortly after. My Dr said I can snow bike and I look forward to getting back on the slopes. SnoGo will change our industry and I see it helping grow our sport like snowboarding did in the 90's.
That's awesome, glad it gives you the opportunity to still get back to the snow!
Next time you 2 are out on the snogos, when you are turning and carving, lean the snogo over pointing your knees as you would with cornering your bikes. Let me know if its snappier and more responsive. Stay loose and try to keep your center of gravity lower too.
I Love my SnoGo!!
That looks like an absolute blast! Merry Christmas Kyle. ❄️🌟🎄✝️❄️🌟🎄❄️
Thanks! You too! Have a great Christmas!
So good. Awesome content. I’ve always wanted to try that. Hope to catch a glimpse of you out there when my ankle heals up.
Yeah I’ll take you out sometime! I hope your ankle heals fast!
Outstanding!!
So much fun haha!
Hello good sir. I'm watching now!! Oh I grew up on snurfers. I'd love it!!
So much fun!!! Thanks for watching!
I think it’s more like the scooter of the snow where snowboards are the skateboards and the skis are the rollerblades.
yeah thats a good analogy for sure!
Yeah I mt bike and grew up skiing in NC... have a Yeti 575 and Brooklyn Machine Works Park Ranger on an 831 Fox front end. Feeling like this is gonna be in my stable really soon.
Thanks for the Eagle Bike Shop shout out!
Yeah no worries! Thank you guys!
So cool 😎🤩
I would only want to go sno-go with the pro, Kyle Warner! Love you and miss you dawg!
Haha thanks! I miss you too!
I saw one last night when I was snowboarding. Now I want one.
They are so much fun haha!
That looks super fun! Next time take the Skydio with you....it would be interesting to see how it would do. Thanks.
Yeah I promise I will next time!!
Jpcannavo
so i can’t really ski due to my bad knees and i haven’t tried snowboarding yet. do you think this would be a better alternative?
You look like Paul Bettany!!
I would add that probably most of the 85% that tried skiing/snowboarding and didn't do it again never took a lesson.😁 I've got a knee injury so I'm looking at changing over to a snow bike setup, and previously boarded. What type do you recommend? Good vid!
Looks like so much fun. I live in the Boise area. do you know of a place to rent these here in town? Does Bogus allow these normally, or did you have to get special permission? thanks.
Yeah so fun! Bogus allows them without any special permission and i think eagle bike shop has rentals at the moment but hopefully bogus will have a few soon as well!
Looks awesome... do you find most lodges welcome/allow snow trikes?
Yeah it’s so fun! This specific brand Snogo is working with a ton of resorts and they have access rolling out all across the us. They have a system that allows them to mount easily to the chairlift and that makes the resorts feel a little better about allowing them
60 yo mtbr, don’t ski. Tried one at keystone, awesome! Wondering how they do in medium powder. Next going to try the Lenz style bike, I.e. full sus frame with one ski in front and one in back. Thoughts on what to expect?
Thats awesome! I haven't tried a two ski bike yet so i don't want to give any false information but i heard they are quite a bit more tricky to grasp but once you are good on them they are really fun. I just started testing out some new powder skis for the Sno-go and it is a total game changer! So much fun in the steep stuff!
They have them at keystone too? I was going to rent one at Winter park to see if I liked it. I've been wanting one for a while now, but seems a lot of the resorts don't allow them on their slopes?
If you don’t mind me asking what made you want to upgrade the handlebars? they look very similar to the stock ones.. Did you have an issue with them or did you just want something different ?
Honestly, I find that the stock handlebars are a little more narrow than the handlebars I am used to on my mountain bike. I decided to swap them to a little wider handlebar that feels a bit more comfortable!
Awesome thank you for the reply , did you use the snogo grips or did you upgrade them also? I have heard a few people complain that they had issues with the grips spinning on them .. I am about to go on a three week vacation with my new snogo bike so if there are any upgrades or anything you would recommend me doing before I leave for the trip I would greatly appreciate it
Yes, But I would want a ski 🎿 that is wider on the front, maybe double the width you have now and a little longer towards the front.
Yeah for sure! They are actually working on a Powder ski soon!
Lets hit up Bogus one evening SOON !!
Dude i would absolutely love too! Lets do it!
• still have to pay the expensive lift ticket • was hoping someone would wipe out, I wanted to see how the cord held you to the snogo • this reminds me how it might be an idea to put a go pro on the leader (same is true for bicycle trail riding) facing backwards so you see someone ride
I want one
so rad! i need to talk to eddie from eagle bike shop and rent one!
Yeah dude! You would have a blast! I might be getting a second one soon and we could go shred!
The bar in the middle looks like a castrator.
No snow by me, but those things look cool
They are such a blast!!! I am actually a little bit excited for winter haha!
Could I get your old one? Rented one and I'm finally able to get back on the hills!
You tubers with clout in Idaho!!!
where to buy in Italy??
Kewlness! I assume this isn't cheap at all (lol)
Yeah they are around 1300 ish now but shooting to go under 1000 in the next couple years as they drive cost down!
Thank you guys for watching! Would you ever want to try a SnoGo?
i got to demo one at mammoth a couple years ago...it was super fun. a snow bum with a season pass who gets 30+ days of riding in a season tends to be more inclined to try anything new on snow, methinks. thanks for all your awesome content i just got my first bike this summer much love!
But was it fun though?
You shoud have given the camera to your pal so we could see what you are doing!
No Skydio2 footage ?!?
i tried but the resort denied it that day, hopefully next time!
I would but they are banned on every hill within my driving distance
Wait what the heck yall in Boise!
And does bogus let you ride these...cause ya boy just found out his feet are too wide to board anymore.
Yes, Bogus let's you ride these!!!! You can get one or demo at Korenorth or Ridgeline bike shops 😊
@@AprilRideMTB bro thank you so much. I hit Bogus two nights ago and could barely walk after 2 runs (curse of having hobbit feet). Have been feeling super down that I might not do one of my favorite winter events. Thanks bruh
@@AprilRideMTB Also, just hit up Kore North...those guys are awesome bruh ty again.
👏👏👍👌🇳🇴. 😷
There’s no way I would waste time on one of those when I could snowboard or ski!
That's what I though too, until I watched Kyle rip a turn last winter. I think I will try it this year to see how I like it. But Kyle also didn't grow up in the snow, so he feels more comfortable on the sno-go given his bike background.
Kyle & April - Ride MTB well I would never turn down a chance to go on a ride with Kyle, he rips no matter what he’s riding!!! You guys are so cool, love your videos!!! April, you’re improving so fast, love watching you rip as well!!!! Please keep the awesome videos coming!!!
Also, why a Sno-Go that’s more of a trike style than one that’s more of a bike
I would love to get one if these but it’s to expensive. Way overpriced. If they cut the price in half I think they would make more of a profit.
Yeah, I am actively working with them to gain some efficiency and lower the price a bit. I am hoping we can get it under 1k dollars next year.
Kyle Warner not a bad deal. I can see these getting pretty popular in the future!
I was interested until I seen the overblown price
Those are not snow bike, those are tryski sled.
Nah... TNGNT ski bikes are the way to go
Kyle - check out Skibiking as well mate kzhead.info/sun/o8yNZMqOpXWAY40/bejne.html think as a downhiller you'll love this !
I'm going to use my Skydio2 in a couple of weeks on a trip to Austria Skibiking
Yeah i definitely wanna give that a try too!
Those things are going to kill people
They are actually pretty easy to use, i think they will be great for beginners, and they are set up with a "runaway" leash and they are designed to fall over without a rider on them. I think there is definitely potential for accidents but people get seriously injured when being ran over by fellow ski and snowboarders. Most of the resorts are keeping these on the bunny hills for now.
