What I learned from this video is", The snowmobile is still as good as snow toys gets!
When I was little...5 decades ago, I had something just a bit bigger than Captain America's shield. The grips for holding on were at the rim.......lots of fun, going down hill in snow.
The two best snow toy inventions were not included in the video. The large intertube for sledding and one of those larger plastic tobbogans. I haven't found a large multi-person plastic tobbogan for a number of years but when they existed they provided a fast exciting downhill ride at a low purchase price. The intertube is just a backyard or hill billy invention for those on a low budget. They too are great fun.
Semi-truck innertube and a car hood.
@@MrHurricaneFloyd 👊was gonna say the same, missing the old Chevy square body hood 💪best thing ever for a sled just hook to a truck and get ripp’n
*broken coccyx enters chat.
I love how this channel always cheers me up no matter what. Kudos!
That SkiZee helper would make me nervous. I don’t want a gnarly machine chasing me on skis.
The snow shoes look like winners to me. Small enough to carry with you and ready to use if you need it to increase your downhill travel. Just need some compact climbing gear to go with it and you're set.
Just Get a Snowmobile, probably alot more Fun & Probably Cheaper as well🥴
Agreed!!!!
Wow, 14 inventions that fall miles short of even a snowmobile designed 50 years ago. AmAzinG. But you’re totally right…all of these creations are far more fun than the 180 hp turbocharged snowmobile I own that can climb mountains and do 0-75 mph in about 2.5 seconds. Phhhhhhhhh
Brrrrraaaaaaapppp
All these products are amazing, However my Favorite is the last one that's a sled that I used to dream of, I never liked getting dumped of my sled.
Those two tracks snowmobile are freaking awesome!!!! I want one!!!! These are so cool! All of these!
The SLEGOON reminds me of the sleds used in The Running Man movie
True, Iam going to have to watch that movie again haven't seen it in 10 years.
I show these to my grandma when she falls asleep, better than coffee
That is literally the tunnel sled the Running Man flick.
I think I would appreciate snow more if I had some of these toys 😱😱
That Slegoon at near the end reminds me of that pod in the running man movie
Thanks for sharing 😊👍
Fun fact about the jet-snowmobile: for Battlefield V, the devs needed a V1 rocket sound, but none were still in existence. Luckily, the same engine from the rockets was in use in a snowmobile, so they sent their audio team out there to record the sound.
I like how Calgary got a shout out.
Could have made it 15 coolest by putting the snowhawk which is my favorite one hands down. If I lived in a snow area I'd buy the snowhawk.
Crazy how they include Snowfeet but not ODR. ODR Snowskates are much safer and actually allowed on many slopes.
The woodrunner will go right over the top of the user if they fall over for any reason unless there's a dead man switch and you're more likely to go downhill faster without having it drag behind you. Those pushbikes on skis have been about since the 70's and also come in way more refined versions for skiers who can't use their legs.
🤣🤣😂😆😅 yeah contact the number lol did they even leave a number? ha! what a buch of dumb scammers.
The Yooner Seated Ski is simply a upgrade of the original Skibock. That was DIY made by attaching a wooden seat on a ski. there are many versions now out to buy. cant say if the originals origin from Switzerland or Austria. i saw them the first time around 2003 in Adelboden but wiki states them beeing first made in 1800.
Pls do more stuff like that! Never miss the new uploads
The sixth one alone will cause global warming .
#1 bumper car lots in the snow build bars around each for impacts slow em down and charge a fee.
That last thing looks like a uncontrolable death trap
A lot of these snow machine look alike and they all do the same thing pull you up or push you around they're all cool just get a set of skies or a sled or a snowmobile they're all a lot of fun just do it safely and have a lot of fun
We used to call the boot skis Super Slider Snow Skates. Old school tech.
You’ve never know what Honda made in 1998. It is standing type of Jetski on the snow. That was awesome. But never on sale. We had experienced at Kayama Captain cost ski area.
This video is so helpful
snowmobile ❄❄needed to be to put solar energy ,which does not need socket ☝
Another great video. These designers are the best. I'm glad there's that much innovation in our world by people under 25 great job.
That last thing looks like the pods used in the running man movie. Where the contestant was placed into one in the studio and then dropped into the "game."
Like the pulse jet snow mobile? With a small ionic thruster added, connected to a gyroscope, and some simple Canard wings, it could be a hover bike... pulse jet engines are the simplest kind of motor
Valves aren't neccessary, with wind speed.... its just a graphite tube, with a fuel pump, and a spark plug, in a simple combustion chamber, behind a screen, for birds. To start it, you need speed, or a leaf blower, you could add valves, and make it more of a pulse-detonation engine, which has been suggested to me, but again, I don't think it's neccessary, you just have to take an extra step to start it. With valves, maybe it's a push button start. Doesn't matter for civilians...
The next logical upgrades, aside from valves, would be water cooling, and a turbine, and a better nozzle, and intake design. Which is a huge amount of customization options, not even mentioning the ionic thruster up front.
Everything here is cool as long as it somebody else's money.
1:04 - we call this one the "nut-cracker"
That last one can easily be made with pvc pipe and galvanized metal fencing and then you can attach an electric chainsaw to power some tracks in the front 😅👍
Do you have a photo of that? Sounds like a smart idea, maybe could be used to cut up some wood as well, then tow it back home - might need two chainsaws for that. It would be nice to have more electric motors on the various forms of snowmobile. I imagine the manufacturers are already heading in that direction.
@@Dying.ironically Not yet, but I've been planning some tricky chainsaw powered vehicle builds for a while now both gas and electric.
You'll see a lot of these things in the old Popular Mechanics magazines and others like it. They're just updated with new tech.
The last one is in the shape of a BIKE HELMET
7.5" of snow in Calgary "IN JUST ONE DAY"!
the slegoon looks like the pods from running man
Amazing
very good video
12:36 Batman or Tron? Nope. The first thing that thing made me IMMEDIATELY think of were those rocket-powered sled seat things that go down a metal tunnel from 1987 "The Running Man" with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Super slider snow skates
So many opportunities for Jeremy Renner to have a bad day.
Amazing for the snow👌
If I only had 10k to 20k laying around......😎
Nice 👍🏽
the snowscoot is the only one i care about and the only one i can afford XD
Winter season???? We've just had the wettest January and February I can remember since 1964. Typically in the last 20 years, winter temperatures are way above average for the time of year. So all the snow we used to get is a distant memory. A canoe would be more useful than a snow vehicle.
Fantastic invention 👍👍
шляпа
Amazing video
@@user-lz5wl2ep7m 🤔?
4:56 WOODSRUNNER? What a missed opportunity... they should have called it GLADERUNNER.
10:40 always wanted a pair BUT I wear a size 16us..................
Li-Po batteries....in the cold...?
The last one, Slegoon, looks to be taken from the movie The Running Man. The asked used to get the contestants to the game field.
the slegoon isn't 70s batman nor tron it's all Running Man " I'll be back." "Only in a rerun."
the slegoon looking like a impaling waiting to happen... one tree fallen on another, broken off jagged wood sticking out, sliding uncontrollable sled into tree/s
Nothing beats a snowmobile for snow!!! Many of the diaplayed if not all requires snow that is pack, hard and or not deep!!!!! Don't get fooled!
They could probably put some dude on the sleegoon and have tumble down the Everest mountain. I'm sure they will sell like hot cakes.😂
dear santa
Runs air that can levitate
So basically the Widescape is the same as the Sno-ped without a seat??
They are called snowmobiles.... Arctic Cat, Polaris, and some Japans company......
Helime has a tink spell equals organic
Wow! There's not a one of these items I would ever be interested in buying or owning. Not a one. That blue snowmobile thing... fun to ride til your friends find out... nah, not even that. Ya can't beat the old snowmobiles for fun.
the downhill thingy look cool but every motor based pale compared to an actual snowmobile
The Bobsla "can be maintained by only one person?" Who? Wouldn't that make it hard to get service if you have to keep sending them back to that ONE PERSON (wherever they are)?
brill nicokim likes
So much random stuff we gotta deal with
9:00 this looks like a Zomboni
That snow trike thing has been around for decades now. I used to have one as a kid. For the most part it was pretty cool. Same thing with the one after the trike, they were called “Sled Dog’s” but they weren’t quite as short tho. Typically they were somewhere around 16-18 inches and were a blast!! But that trike was nowhere near that kinda price tag tho!!.. Was only like 150$ back then and it really isn’t any different from the one we had. Not sure why the price went up so damn much for the exact same product.. I get inflation and all, but that’s just down rite ridiculous!!… 😳🙄🤦🏻♂️
i generally agree with you.. sled dog is an alright name sorta.
@@RemnantDiscipleLazzaro-Rev1217 lol don’t blame me, I didn’t name them, that’s just what they were called back in the day.. 🤷🏻♂️😁
@@fahhcue850 :]
Do you live under a rock? Prices have been steadily going up on everything for years now. smh
@@Asymmetrical-Saggin Yeahi get that, but from something like 50$ to whatever they said they charge now.. That’s just nonsense because they’ve changed nothing on it except for the color.. 🤦🏻♂️
The snow options are good I was thinking not sure if anyone else agrees a blade option like a ski blade to pull down to go faster down hills. Sincerely Jacqueline Trimm Syme Hamblen Morrison family bloodline. ❤🌹🕊🙏☺👍
lol 2 widescapes will fit in the back of a truck I already fit 2 snowmobiles I can definitely get more then 2 widescapes in there btw if anyone ever gets a snowbike kit for their pedal bike for the love of god dont use actual skis take the ski from a snowmobile they have the skegs which help so much during turning not only that they are usually more curved allowing you to cut into the snow
xD dont have winter snow anymore
looks at WS250 Looks at my 9 foot truck bed I could fit about 6 of those in my truck
Для безопасности,с дугами ,самое лучшее средство,по камешкам стучать ,а если уж завалит лавиной,то гробик с собой,по правилам захоронения ...
wish your intro music was not so loud
Hillstrike snow trike... reminds me of something.. oh yeah, I want my two dollars! Guess the movie
Better off dead
Favors Running Man....
Mostly neck breakers.
There won't be a replacement for powered snowmobiles period.
Snow Dog for $4100 looked like a good deal, Snow Trike for $2600 looks like a complete rip off lol
A few duds for sure.
Mini Skis $140.00,....K-Tel Super Slider Sno Skates circa 1977 $9.95.
Most of this is junk. The motorized ones all needed a snowplow to go first. A couple of those giant junkpiles would get stuck in the mountains and never make it back out. That Canadian stand up model would be fun for about 15 minutes. Then you'd be looking for a seat.
Hi, To whom I should take contact if I we would like to present our cool electric winter vehicle in your KZhead channel. Thanks in advance :)
These are For the winter season? Why ?
Haha Never heard “Not point 8 gallons per hour before”. Anyone that uses gallons would say zero, instead of “not”. Even at that I would just say point 8, you don’t need to say zero point 8.
Not new at 10:41 super slider show skates from 1970s
You used the one thing on the list that doesn't actually exist yet for the thumbnail? Bad form TZ.
50 k for a engine with skies lol
I don't see anything new here, as far as the ones that work.
Batteries in cold weather.. so counter-intuitive. Second invention, big wind can flip you over. Third invention is not bad at all - "S-Snowmobile" _[S = standing]._ Fourth invention _[it's not a 'quad bike' sigh, quad means four, bi-cycle means two.. ]_ it could be called a tri-ski and not bad at all, expensive surely. Fifth invention: sigh, yet again, it's not a snow 'bike' since 'bike' is a truncation of 'bicycle' meaning two wheels/cycle, how about it's a 'e-ped-ski'? Sixth invention, that is neat, mono-track-assist / MTA. Seventh invention, so drag racing with a rocket motor. Eighth invention, another clever one, so ''pull-mobile''. Ninth invention, that is not new for sitting down skiing, they actually got this from a very similar device for the disabled. Tenth invention, that's a big one ski-doo/snowmobile, that should so dome serious work, expensive. Eleventh invention: i would call this something like 'tri-ski'. Twelfth invention, why not just call foot-skis/ped-skis? Thirteenth invention: not a scooter, just another form of skiing, so duo-skis. Fourteenth, prototype, so sno-sleds. Lastly: THESE ARE ALL INVENTIONS NOT CREATIONS! *"Only God creates, the rest of us just copy."* - Michelangelo @tech___zone
Crazy cool
With that last one, HOW is it rolling over and keep going "SAFE"? Oh yeah, the LAST thing i want is to roll over in that thing, not be able to see where im going or control it anymore and KEEP GOING.....right off a cliff or into a tree. LOL.
Dear TechZone You or you make super great videos, I have only one suggestion for change please. The title music from the intro, I personally do not like at all. It is for my taste, perhaps for other viewers too, '' aggresiv and loud''. This spoils me completely just to click on your videos although I know that they are good! If you like my idea and you possibly also the opinion since it to change I would be super grateful to you and you will certainly not regret it. Best regards Vali
lol, the pecker sled.
