These rants always begin with "Seth went into a sixty second rant" but always last more than that. If only there was a show where these kinds of errors could be CORRECTed...
His rant is a total of 60 seconds. But it is continually interrupted.
I agree that we need a feature called "Rant Corrections," wherein another rant fixes the previous one.

Ok sorry to jackal you, but technically they said the rant about *vests* was 60 seconds. That doesn’t necessarily encompass additional time dedicated to sweater vests, capes, puffers, etc. It’s still possible the time he spent specifically on obscenities about vests was under 60 seconds.
At This Point in the Broadcast is an underrated bit and we need more of it. NO CAPES!

I have been a Meyers guy ever since Seth stopped wearing suits.
Never thought of it that way-the dawn of the No Suit Seth era was the pivotal moment of our relationship.
I would watch his show occasionally but religiously after the pandemic. So it really must be the suits! Edit: same with Trevor Noah on the Daily show. Once he started growing out his hair I was hooked.

If you combined this piece with the jewels one, you would have a compelling story about how material possessions, such as vests and jewels, don't bring happiness. You would also have a disturbing look into Seth's psyche.

If we ignore it entirely that shows we‘ve moved on (bad) if we pester him about it too much we give him too much power over us (bad) but if we acknowledge that we miss it but also seem to accept that it’s gone we’re most likely to get the result we’re hoping for

I'm not a fan of vests, but after seeing this unhinged rant about vests, I will keep my vest opinions to myself. As for "spring" weather in the U.S., my rule is always carry a coat until there are three 70 degree days in a row.

Despite the unhinged nature of the ramblings, I agree 100% with Seth's opinion of vests. If I'm cold enough to need another layer, it's my arms that'll need the warmth before my torso. Plus capes are cool. And I kinda already do the sleeves thing with a lovely pair of knitted fingerless gloves that come up to my elbows.

The issue is it was a fleece vest. Fleece makes me feel icky. Perhaps a wool vest? Or some other lighter weight material would have been better. Also is a vest the same as a gilet? Unzip it and the body can be on show but you're still mostly cosy. These are things I need to know.
