probably better protection against storms too. Wind just flows over them.
You are absolutely right! Thanks for the comment!
beautiful
Thank you so much for the comment!! I am so inspired that my husband and I are considering building a Quonset house in place of an existing cottage on our property. The cottage in question needs more work than we want to put into it!
The practicality of these is almost non-existent.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
@@specialfindsuniquehomes you're welcome, and I know it sounds mean, but as someone who has lived the RV lifestyle for 20 years, the tiny house life for 7 years and efficiency apartment life for 2 years, these houses are just not practical.
@@FAFO4wisdom Not mean at all! You've lived the life and speak from experience! I've never lived in a Quonset hut, but I have listed them and sold them. You are speaking honestly!
@@specialfindsuniquehomes and it's nothing against the houses, they are quite beautiful. It's more of a commentary against people who THINK they are ready for this lifestyle, but can't shed the materialism. They say they do, but 100% Of the people I have seen and met in this lifestyle, can't stop buying things they don't need. Life gets cluttered and messy. Tiny living is just not for these people. 😭
Well said! @@FAFO4wisdom
