How reliable are you finding your discovery? I want to get one but the reliability issues I read about are putting me off.

What reliability issues are you referring to? The only ”Land Rover” specific issue i have had is the air compressor, which is just a case of natural wear and tear. Had an alternator and harmonic balancer go. I've got the 4 litre petrol (which is a Ford engine) which doesn't have major issues.

Honestly one of the best value 4x4s you can buy these days, what you get for your money is amazing, compared to what people are paying for much older, less capable (in stock form) vehicles.

On LR3 do you have diff lock? Or it`s a stock car?

The centre diff locks and unlocks with a variable clutch pack controlled by the terrain response mode depending on what mode you are in. There is a factory rear locker available, not fitted to any of the cars in this video.

There's definitely other options which can be better or worse in some situations, in terms of flex.
