Lyrics:
Thought that I was going crazy
Just having one those days yeah
Didn't know what to do
Then there was you
And everything went from wrong to right
And the stars came out and filled up the sky
The music you were playing really blew my mind
It was love at first sight
'cause baby when I heard you
For the first time I knew
We were meant to be as one
Was tired of running out of luck
Thinking 'bout giving up yeah
Didn't know what to do
Then there was you
And everything went from wrong to right
And the stars came out and filled up the sky
The music you were playing really blew my mind
It was love at first sight
'cause baby when I heard you
For the first time
I knew we were meant to be as one
And everything went from wrong to right
And the stars came out and filled up the sky
The music you were playing really blew my mind
It was love at first sight

  • This song and video was ahead of its time. Her outfit style can still pass as fashionable in 2023.

    • Yes and what she wore here is the ultimate. Women are wearing cargo pants in a sexy way lately but Kylie perfected it here. She wore another version of this in her tour but still this look in the video cannot be topped.

  • Kylie Minogue represents Y2K Futurism better than any other artist I can think of. Her music and music videos have a cutting-edge timelessness, abounding in that 2000s positive, hopeful energy for the new millennium I miss so much (her performances at the Sydney Olympics are a great example of that). It’s crazy how Kylie’s music can be both so nostalgic and always like she’s living in the future while we are all trying to catch up. She is our POSITIVE TIMELESS ICONIC QUEEN 🫅

I've been on a 2000's pop music binge lately. Listening to the songs I grew up to in my teenage years makes these dreary days more bearable.

    • Nope, just so many people from the US from music critics to the public who were completely American centric, for many the rest of the world just didn’t exist. Things are better today but not by much, from the Grammy’s, Emmy’s to the Oscars it’s still Americans first.

      @bellabana@bellabana Жыл бұрын
    • It's insane! I believe it had to do with the fact that it was only released as an airplay only single to prevent the song from outselling the album itself, which caused the song to achieve limited success on the chart. They also did the exact same thing with Can't Get You Out of My Head which caused the single to peak at number 7 and only spend 3 weeks in the top 10. I firmly believe if both singles were released physically, they would of charted better. Can't Get You Out of My Head would of been an instant number one and Love at First Sight would of reached the top 5.

Imo, 2005 was the last decent (but not great) year. 2006 onward life just kept getting more and more retarded with what you were supposed to put up with. Now, I'm chilling with an easy life and enjoy A LOT of music and playing video games from that time in the little bubble I've built for myself.

    • @WalkingInMemphis Hell yeah!!! It was a continuation of the late 90's, lots of good varieties of music, bright sporty clothes, good video games, some good movies, actually walking around the mall was fun then, decent job market, people were way sexier looking, and people had more to do in life than besides complain about pollitics. Remember (LIKE 20 YEARS AGO) when people used to argue that stuff like the self-empowerment movement taught in school and participation trophies would create a bunch of asshole snowflake kids and legalizing gay marriage would open up the flood gates to make ANYWAY way of life acceptable???? Scary, but THOSE PEOPLE WERE RIGHT. MOST OF THE MILLENIALS ARE DELUSIONAL SHIT HEADS WHO ARE COMPLETELY ACCEPTING OF ANYTHING...And I'm not bashing gays, but it's an example. You can't even SLIGHLTY condemn ANYTHING or slur anything or you could be destroyed on the internet and in real life now. GOOD JOB, OTHER MILLENIALS!!! 👎 WISH I WAS BORN AS A GEN X-ER!!!
