Lyrics:
Sit back bare your cross to me
Oh won't I listen
God damn have I burned my hands
On what's been missing
I feel,.. Unreal everytime I try and stop to feel
Pick me up my friend
Let me start again
You fucked me
Behind this garden
Don't fuck me
Long before I could even see
You're what was missing
Twisting deep inside of me
Forever missing the glistening
I feel,.. Unreal
Everytime I try and stop to feel
Pick me up my friend
Hold closed your hand
Ladies and Gentlemen, It is 2024!! Hard to believe that this legendary song is turning 23 this year!!
Sailor Outlaw: Big time Congratulations to this gem of a song my brotha Sailor Nightstorm 🤘😎🤘🤠🔫
It’s a trip that’s for sure
@@SailorOutlawGeorgeIshaq You're damn right Dude!!! 👊😎👍
@@AdamReed-jw8lnHell yeah it is 🤘😎🤘
And they're touring. Saw them with Flaw and Ra two weeks ago.
when we had bands like drowning pool, disturbed, linkin park, slipknot, soil, deftones, korn, puddle of mudd, system of a down all at their prime it is impossible not to miss those times :/
True that my friend, true that
Also had Bullet for my Valentines, Static X, Rise Against, Korn, Killswitch Engage, Godsmack, The Used, Scars on Broadway, Papa Roach, Foo Fighters and many others. It was the best era of Alternative Rock/Metal and then in 2010 came the best era for Post Hardcore/Hardcore/Metalcore/Deathcore bands....man I miss those days...thats why we here now hehe

Underrated band. Underrated song.
Diego Go? True...
Diego Go? Systen of a down is underrated band... exept serj they are all system of a down
vali A. System of the down is definitely not underrated
Not really. The lead singer thinks his shit don't stink. Left 1 band to be with another, then leaves that band to go back to the original and nothing.. Soil is dead
Severely, im the guy that litsens to all the no bodies out there
man i miss the early 2000s music..
Chris Toole right cause I can imagine being happy during that life
Seriously man
J N i wasnt, but the music was a great comfort.
Same
hit me in the heart with this comment.....same brother. Life seemed so simple and exciting, new and adventurous then. Sad
2022 and I'm still here. This song reminds me well.of the early 2000s rock man. Great times
Can't agree with you more mate. Like, it's a f-ing time machine. I'm there
They certainly were. Need those times again!
Completely agree whit u dog i feel u
What’s came out that rocks hard ? Nothing but volbeat and ghost and even that’s watery compared to some of this era
Most underrated band in the history of the fucking universe.

onetaothree and one of the best bands in the history of the fucking universe
If he had'nt of accepted the offer from drowning pool they would probably still be making music. makes me sad.

Remember listening to this band when I was 19-20. I m now 38 yrs old and nothing has changed with me. They still KICK ASS!!!!!
Same
Yup... same here. Lol
9 years later, this song still kicks ass and sounds just as fresh. Awesome band.
And 9 years after your comment, it is still fresh
21 years ago, and still listening
22 years and still badass
I fell in love with rock since I can remember 10 years old, how time flies 60 years later, I still feel like 17 years old. I was searching for some more rock, I came upon this SOil (UNREAL)...My battery (heart) has been refuel...I am 17 again "WOW"...
The fact that this is the dude from Oppressor…is mind blowing. One of the best death metal bands of all time. And then he goes on to make this? Wild.
@@Necromass facts
Gotta pay the bills dude. Nu metal was big at this time. Plus this sounds great.
damn, they're awesome. Just gave them an ear after reading your post. I knew the Soil guys were in a death metal band before but I thought it might've been mediocre. It's REALLY good.
@@yoe91 yeah the solstice for oppression album is killer
Ryan's presence on the songs made me love this band, he was good with drowning pool but so glad he's back with soil
Ya think he sounds better with soil
I would listen to soil for hours on end playing runescape when I was probably 11-13 years old. I am now 27 and this is still as awesome as I remember it being.
RUNESCAPE FTW. LvL 51 + limewire here! That's all I can remember from early 2000s 👀
It's crazy, I'm about to turn 33 in a week and I remember playing RuneScape and listening to slipknot, disturbed, korn, and linkin park non stop around that time for hours just grinding lol. A lot of time wasted but I don't regret the memories.
@@renec4482 Never. Never forget or regret those awesome times man!
I'm 33 years old mate been listening to soil since I was 15 as good as they are you can't beat the original drowning pool
Same age here, only we are both 30 now. I remember playing lots of n64 to this album.
Sadly 99% of the population deosn't know this band
99% of the world has a shit taste in music today.
Right ... cheers from venezuela
Probably because they are not very unique.
I do!! Love them!!! Sadly way too many people know what Kim Kardashian had for dinner last night though!!!
I’m happy I do lol
Remember when music had emotion? I was 18 when this song came out and I remember absolutely loving the way he sang the song and the riff and how well it gelled together. Man I hate to be nostalgic, but I miss these days.
Only about 3 mil views?!!! I am outraged. This world no longer knows what good music is.... I wish this was the mainstream again... I hope it makes a come back.
And 99% of the population doesn't know what good music is. They think Lady gaga and that rap shit is music ha!
Brian You’re right! But too each, their own I guess.
Well with rap being the new music I'm not that shocked
Because mumble ball gagging new rap is life! Fuck that! I miss the good shit from back in the day!
The idea of “Good” Music is just subjective, and varies widely on an individual, as well as, group level. What is great for you, may seem like trash to someone else, and vice versa. The only constant I manage to repeatedly see, is this general divide within the different generations of amateur “Music Connoisseurs” There is a term called “Juvenoia” (a merging of the words Juvenile + Paranoia) that means to describe this phenomenon as; a general dislike/distaste/phobia/hatred of parts or all of a younger generations technological, cultural, political, economical, ect... differences. Im sure my mid1980’s early1990’s born millennial kin can remember similarly lame quotes/phrases, such as; “They should call this CRAP music, not RAP music!” Spoken by an elder. Well now it seems we are the elders, mimicking the exact same ignorant gestures. I don’t have a solid answers as to why we develop this subconscious rejection towards new-era propagation, only guesses. It may be an instinctual reaction like the fear of the unknown, or perhaps the discomfort of change. Maybe its a gradual build-up of those constant changes around us, eventually prompting us to a point of feeling obsolete. This will then manifest into the dislike/rejection/hatred towards those “Next-Gen” things, as sort of a reflexive coping-mechanism to resist the negative feelings. Thats all just guess work tho, as i am NO PSYCH-Evaluator. Im just trying to be aware of why I Think and Feel the way I do, by catching each thought as it crosses my mind. I suggest more people try it as well. Because there might be a better answer than “This Moosik GOOD! But This Moosik BAAAD!”
awesome clip, so nostalgic and "pure". Some of the best vocals I've ever heard, and excellent song-writing/arrangements. Mysterious, deep lyrics. This song is a true classic.
It's not mysterious to us who share the void. Google "borderline personality disorder". I can smell it from a mile away cuz I have it as well. Soil's music stinks of BPD in every song.
I absolutely agree. This album got me through a lot of difficult times in 03/04.
@@zeker.9068 Same. Seemed like an entire lifetime had passed by the time Redefine was released.Luckily, during that timespan,I discovered Throttle Junkies! Got to see em in Smashville with AJ on the True Self tour. They blew the roof off of 12th& Porter. Good fukin times.🤘🏻🤘🏻
Sorry, I don't understand the message of the song. Is "You fuck me behind the garden" translated literally? song about rape? This confuses me a little when I watched the clip and there is a brutal man singing it (English is not my native language). I think the meaning of the song escapes me. Russian translators usually use some kind of machine translation. it's horrible
@@drowelderwell, he must've forgot the over part. Idk it's music. Listen to how it suits u. I feel like when I was younger I prob wanted to debate w/ everyone what songs meant. Mind u I was younger. I could've done worse, you know? I must've saw them on some compilation cs bc idk how I even discovered them. Maybe through radio, idk. But I always thought their name sounded interesting... & Maybe that's what it was. That & this lyrical content, it's deep when u're in ur early 20s. Or, *it still sounds profound today. Ryan's hair is so fucking perfect -_-
i like how everyone is simple goth punk dressing. reminds me of back them things were much simpler.
yeah well some people still are gothic and that i am not many around tho
the band or the fans? cuz the fans are paid, they don't look like they're into metal.
The Vampire Ravendark Are you talking about the band or the crowd?
Crowd.
@Harden Thicke True, well spotted.
Bro why dont the rest of the population listen to this anymore it's so underrated
I need to make a confession: Though I've been listening to rock and metal for as long as I can remember, Soil has somehow always escaped my musical radar. Until about a week ago when Spotify decided to recommend this banger of a song. Since then, I've been torn between punching myself in the face for just getting into Soil and rocking out to unreal. Definitely one of the more underrated bands from the 2000s.
Ok
