TheNeoton Remove myself from KZhead, because I am capable of understanding that sometimes people run out of amazing art to make? The top people in the Nu-Metal genre have topped themselves about as many times as those at the top of the rock genre. Everyone more or less knows who ACDC is, but I doubt many of them have heard more then four to six songs. Most artists release an album and everyone only wants to hear one song on that album. And then they burn out after three albums or less. So be grateful we got what we got, a lot of musical genres burn out a lot faster.

I saw Papa Roach live recently in Glasgow. It was very ironic when they played this song, a song that is anti materialistic, there were tonnes of people holding up their iphones recording. Was an awesome gig though. First time I've ever been in a pit stone cold sober, usually too self conscious to let loose sober.

I wish Nu-Metal never faded out as it was, it came out of nowhere in a blip and went out the same in like 10 years or so. The bands that "survived" completely changed their sound and their fanbase pretty much all changed. I feel like teenagers in the 95-05 era we just used Nu-Metal to exorcise our demons and cope with society and then moved on with our lives without giving much appreciation for what the genre meant to that generation. I may be totally wrong but that's how it feels like to me.

+Chiko was here I don't see how they could top what they already did. I mean we had six or so bands that made four to six really amazing songs each. I'm not even sure if there is that many great songs in any other genre that is so mixed.
BRING IT BACK :'((
+Chiko was here All too much =(
TheNeoton Remove myself from KZhead, because I am capable of understanding that sometimes people run out of amazing art to make? The top people in the Nu-Metal genre have topped themselves about as many times as those at the top of the rock genre. Everyone more or less knows who ACDC is, but I doubt many of them have heard more then four to six songs. Most artists release an album and everyone only wants to hear one song on that album. And then they burn out after three albums or less. So be grateful we got what we got, a lot of musical genres burn out a lot faster.
Now that I'm older this song hits on a different level.
This album has gotten me through so many rough times. Thanks proach!

Best papa roach track ever... I love this song
20 years later I am still amazed about the kickass moves of the bass player. Always loved the way he moves here.
I'm 26 right now. I remember being in my first rock band at 12 years old in 2006 (it was my brother on bass, a friend of us on drums, and me on guitar and vocals), and we used to copy these guy's moves in this video when we were playing this very song. Good old times.
I saw Papa Roach live recently in Glasgow. It was very ironic when they played this song, a song that is anti materialistic, there were tonnes of people holding up their iphones recording. Was an awesome gig though. First time I've ever been in a pit stone cold sober, usually too self conscious to let loose sober.
well....I mean, I don't want to not have shit. hahah
YEAH! FUCKFANSTOYS!
why were u sober?
ToHighToSub Drink is too expensive inside venues, I hate using the toilets in venues, I had to be up early for work & didn't want to be hungover & Glasgow is a dangerous place which I don't want to be drunk in.
metabolicshaun fair enough and i agree with the price thing i payed a tenner a pint watching AC/DC 2 years ago
Este tema me hace estremecer el alma larga vida a Papá Roach !!!
End of 2023 and I had the urge to listen to this song… throwback to my teens
One of my favorite songs when I was 13. This is the kind of things which really marks a generation. I'm 19 now, and I think that hipsters' music can't even really face the 2000's music.
I just turned 16 and I don't see what the deal is about people singing and rapping about ass, money and drugs, like really, why would you listen to that... But yeah, I fully agree with you.
Yep, artists were artists before...
Your extra chromosome must be kicking in because there's not just rap and rock dumbshits
One of my favorite songs when I was 15. I'm 29 now and I think that hipsters' music can't even really face the 1990's music ;)
***** lol was just about to point out this song was 1999 :)
watching it in January 2021 - year 2 of the Covid Era.

This song has aged tremendously well. More important lesson now than ever
More important lesson ever my brother.
Best times to be alive! Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot, SOAD, Sum41, Blink 182, Crazy Town! Loved this era of metal. Nowadays its just deep growls and non understandable sh**
Still listening in 1976? Still bangin!
Nu metal is still out there
Word.
I see it more that both the bands and the fans all grew up the fans moved through the antsy edgy teenage years and then we didn't need to edgy sound we had in our teens so the bands moved to a more adult sound.
Whip Dan some people done it shit papa Roach done it good
