1/6 Scale Diorama - WW2 German Machine Gun Team, 1945

Diorama of the Second World War in 1/6 scale. In the streets of Berlin, 1945, the last fight of the German Elite troops!
This is an old diorama built many years ago, i did not get to sell it yet, so i'm taking opportunity to put it as a showcase here
The diorama is build on plywood and the walls are compressed foam with brick wall rendering carved by hand and painted/weathered to reflect the war torn streets of Berlin. The Heavy Machine Gun is the ever menacing MG34 on a Lefette Tripod. Both From DML. Figures are made from Modified soldier story body with custom neck mods. All uniform and gear are improved/weathered.

Castlebrimstone started with customizing WW2 German Soldats, I do miss customizing WW2 figures and hope to build more and adding the process in this KZhead channel.

  • Having fired the 8mm the helmets would of funnel the report of the machine gun right into their ears, these people would of had hearing loss for sure. 8mm concussion can be felt 6' away from the guns as well.

    • I refer to many pictures of WW2 historical pictures to get inspiration. Mainly by googling. Hope it helps
