@@TheNajSD Pretty chill, you're able to digest just about anything and you're one of the most feared creatures in the woods. If you manage to find a lot of food you'll be bigger than the other boars and, male or female, that means you get to fuck the sexiest other boar out there and else there's this declining scale where all but the lowest of you manage to make other little boars, you don't really have any plans for the future other than finding and/or killing shit, you're built for the climate so outside is just fine for you and then at some point you hear a rustling in the grass that's unlike a deer or a badger and then THWACK and it's light's out. You were a boar and you did your life well, it ended by some crazy upright alien.
It's really incredible how he nails the awkwardness of early auditions like that, from the little linguistics details (brief stuttering, leaning into the intonations, breathing in the stress, etc) to the smallest head movements, and the saliva swallowing, gosh it's just perfect! _[chef kiss]_ The final "thank... thank you sir" encapsulate this so much, the head bobbing, the cringe smile, nervous laugh, everything - that channel got an amazing vibe, absolutely killing it!
"What part are you here for son?" "S-sir, yes, that's the part of the nervous inex-" *_gulps_* "-perienced actor in his first au-audition..." *_nods_* "... sir!" "You're hired."
The sudden, pained intensity of "I told you no such thing" hit me like a clubbed boar.

@@matt7224 the closest equivalent experience in their world was during the process in which Morgoth was transitioning elves into the first orcs. Only, we rarely complete it to become an ‘orc’ ourselves, but when we do, it’s called “Going Postal”.

"Man on Social Media" is a roller coaster of emotions. So much going on in 1 hour and 30 minutes with nothing but one man sitting in front of a screen in his messy room.
***SPOILERS*** The part at the end when he realizes he has an essay due the next day blew me away with the built up tension. They better come out with a sequel or I’ll end up clubbing like two boars.

And you can tell they really went all out with the authenticity because they had soda cans and half finished bags of chips strewn all around the room. The fly bumping against the window trying to get out was an especially astute touch.

Man at therapy? The amount of suspension of disbelief that would have to happen for the audience to follow along is way too much. That movie would never get off the ground.
The half smile that breaks out when he says "you're so evil" thinking he killed it, followed by the moment of realization/attempt to course correct always gets me.
The writing on this is probably one of Joel's best written sketches, it's incredibly funny, Incredibly complex and very very clever. A dystopian world where very basic situations on earth are their Hollywood blockbusters, we don't know how high budget or low budget these films are, dax is nervous about playing something so simple (may i add, dax is incredible on this) , and the director has a deep struggling complex at home with his wife using dax to replay his trauma. Its just so so good how it all just subtly gels together. I can't ever stop watching this masterpeice

I'm from the timeline where they made Man at Airport and let me tell you it was the best 11 hours of my life.
Really? I felt it took a while to really take off.
The first 9 hours are really slow but there's a lot of detail that adds to the rewatchability factor.

I love this studio, they made a thriller short film called "woman frantically searching for her phone in her messy apartment" and I let me tell you I was glued to the screen. Really looking forward to the sequel where she looks for her half-smoked joint
The thing about Dax is that you can pick him out in an instant. You hear his voice and the cadence of his speech and you immediately know it’s him. Not to mention his body language and just his way of being scratches an itch in my brain that i never knew I needed. As an overthinking highly anxious person I feel his vibe with ever fiber of my being. Plus the heavy swallow at the beginning killed me
Touchmythril studios needs to keep the "Man at Office" & "Man at Bank-verse" separate. I can imagine man at office going to the same deli, but finding out their wives know each other broke my immersion. Are we suppose to believe they HAPPENED to be on the same high school cheerleader squad? REALLY?
I’d have to disagree. That one interaction could tie up all of the Man movies. Besides, I loved Linda in “Man of Office.” I would kill a thousand orcs for her if she was my wife.

@@MementoTurtle It's definitely something new. Animated improv is not a thing, the classical methods of animations make it impossible to throw improv on the mix. But the way this guy creates his animations makes him able to add the awkwardness of improvisation to fantasy characters and scenarios in a unique way.

@@kabhes9040 but the animation for R&M is still not improv, it is drawn by a person after the improv portion is recorded by the voice actor. But with this guy, a program translates his real, awkward movements from the camera into animation. Even the animation is improvised haha

- Man at Supermarket is a tale of survival where one Man must struggle past the worst individuals the world has to throw at him. - Man at Parking Lot Office is an emotional story where one Man must deal with the fact that no one will ever acknowledge his existence except to be mad at him. - Man at Office is a mystery where one Man must investigate who has stolen his lunch from the lunchroom. - Man at Deli is a success story where one Man must deal with all the pitfalls of starting up and managing a small buisiness. - And finally, Man at Bank is a thought-provoking tale where one Man loses everything through hardly any fault of his own and yet must find ways to continue his and his family's survival regardless.
When I bring home groceries or carry out food, sometimes out of a sense of self-deprecating bemusement and minor accomplishment I play it up, like, 'I went hunting today!', or, 'The hunter returns with bounty!" I'm beginning to think that, not only do I only amuse myself with this gag... but also that I'm the only one in on the joke.
And coming this summer - Man at DMV, an epic tale of how one man conquered his inner demons urging him to destroy the crowded building he was in, only for something terrible to be revealed..... (twist ending - he gets to the front of the line and dun dun DUUUUUUN has the wrong forms and goes berserk)
I think your synopsis of Man at Office isn't quite right. I remember a lot of stuff about a stapler.

Imagine someone making a movie about fantasy characters making a movie, doesn't even have to be a full movie could be like a short video of fantasy characters making a movie. If someone did that I'd want to show them that I think it's good and maybe find a way to be notified if they ever made something else. Yeah that would be cool.
