Most people I know still miss it... my dad been sober almost 30 years, and if he smells ether, his mouth starts drooling.. If I start thinking about it, cant stop thinking about the taste, rolling the bowl in my fingers and getting a fat cloud.... Its tragic dude. We need real drug education- here it is. Meth is fucking incredible. Eventually, if you dont take care of yourself, you'll go crazy If you accidentally get meth, you're gonna love it and it'll seem like theres nothing to fear... it comes later. I miss it every day. Nothing will ever be that good again. Its FUCKED. But I also HATE being out of control, cant control my thoughts... I'm better on LSD and shrooms than I am being awake for a week on meth lol Tripping, I remind myself I'm high. Meth, I feel extra focused. You cant convince me that I'm wrong. If anyone is curious where the term marks come from, it's from the old school carnivals where Carneys would actually take chalk And put a "mark" on people so other carnies would know who they could get to play.
We use the term marks in professional wrestling also.

My sister was wild since birth and did so many crazy things she could write books about each week, but got on hard drugs from 2011 to 2020. She joined a carnival in 2018 and went around America for a year. She has more stories from the year she was with the carnival than she has stories from HS graduation to joining the carnival. Its an entirely different world than the one we live in, much like hollywood. She's been clean for three years now!

I had a classmate that was working the tilt-a-whirl one day at the county fair. He was all proud of himself that the real tilt-a-whirl carny told him that he'd give him 50 bucks if he worked for him all day. Poor bastard sat out in the hot sun for 12 hours and when the carny came back, he gave him only 5 bucks.

I used to work theme parks and was part of the concessions crew. Theme parks are sorta similar. Rides, concessions, games (I guess joints), clean up crew, and the people who played characters and walked around interacting with people, didn’t mix and had rivalries. I started working in the video game industry and they used to call me a carny because I had also done theatre and was a cast member of Rocky Horror. All of my jobs were entertaining and exciting I suppose. I wasn’t a carny but my job experience felt carny-like to some people.

Just a bit of fun because my previous work experience was theme parks and theatre. Some guys on my team called me a carny. That didn't make me a carny, they just thought of me as one. lol

I was a carni from around the age of 17-19. It was absolutely insane. The stories I have you wouldn’t believe.
The dunk tank guy on the boardwalk in Wildwood New Jersey when I was a kid was a savage. He would sit up there just smoking cigarettes and had this raspy voice and he would say anything.
