I can't belive Samsung finally makes their own screen protector, I'm astounded!
They have made their own screen protector before, but never advertised it.
Took about 20 years
I’m glad they our because it hard to find a screen protector that fits a phone edge to edge perfectly.
Don't rejoice until we find out if they have 1 for the 22 ultra with the curved screen
It is not glass……
At this point, the only thing I could probably afford is the screen protector and maybe a case.
😂

Finally, after 10-15 years in the mobile business, Samsung launches its screen protectors! Happy to see this day!
I am not so sure about your job in the mobile business for the past 10-15 years when I remember to this day, that back in 2017 I purchased an S7 edge with their Samsung screen protector in their official store.
that's not even a screen protector. 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
@@qhuy4572 Good that you got a screen protector. I had to Samsung S7 edge, one from the UK and another from India. Non had a screen protector as accessories on their website. Anyways, it's good to know that they have for S22 series in India.
@@itsyourgoofyahhuncle Something better than nothing. But anyway, I won't buy this as I prefer Spigen/Tech21 tempered glass screen protector. It saved my S20 FE from a fall where the phone was safe and the TG got cracked.
@@dhruvdeepak184 I got S20 FE too, btw! It's a cheaper flagship! And yee, I won't by this too, because it's just not a screen protector and it gives you 0 protection! Spigen makes pretty good products with high quality! 👌
I love how diverse Samsung is with their products. I'm AMAZED!
Awesome! I tried too many screen protectors and this one is by far the best! It makes your stylus glide on the screen with ease ✨️. Your screen also feels slick! Feels like glass but it's not! Your finger glides easily!
Bought this one few months ago together with the phone. Today finally tried to install it. 2 times and both times with bubbles since it catches dust VERY strong. Took off both and re- applied " factory protector" without a single bubble. Crazy stuff.
Thank you, Samsung! I watched the installation video just to be sure I understood. It was a breeze. I have zero bubbles and it looks shiny & smooth. I didn't know about this screen protector until after I experienced fingerprint scanner nightmares behind another brand of glass protector. I was sick of ghost touches and no matter how hard I pressed and redid prints. That glass protector had to go.
Try turning on touch sensitivity
The dreaded task, made simple and sophisticated! Love this, can't wait for my 22 Ultra to arrive!!!

Superb replacement film protector for my s22 ultra. 1st application immaculate. Feel is much more glass like than a tacky feel rinke. Spiegen case applied. So far so good, no lines in the middle post application.
Easiest screen protector application I've ever done! Just applied mine today so not sure about the quality yet. One negative is that you get 2 lines across the middle of the screen, but as I read here people say those will disappear after a while.
So there's no pre-applied screen protection out of the box? S21 had that
Dude, I sold them, do you have any idea how many people *didn't know* those phones came pre-installed with screen protectors? Half the people I met who did buy them had trouble putting ones *over* the existing one.
@@ManiacX1999 since you sold them, does the S22 series still comes with pre applied screen protector? I know they have doing that for quite a while but just curious that they could remove it back

👍 i will be using your technique from now on. In the past, I struggle with applying screen protector on my phone.
Love this protector, no bubbles, smooth texture, no problem on edges on my s22 ultra.
May i know if it fit/cover the curve side perfectly?
Just got these screen protectors from Samsung for my S22 Ultra. They are much better than similar third party options, don't cost too much either. The feeling to the touch is also really smooth. Application was easy with not a single bubble.
Does your protector stick to the edges? Mine doesn't.
Wow, this is so satisfying 😍
Do we really need a screen protector with gorilla glass Victus+ ? I've been using my last 2 Gen devices without any screen protector and it's been fine.
If you dont want scratches i guess but idk i wouldent use one because it doesnt look since but id keep the stock protector thats already on the phone for like 2 months probably until it gets scratched.
Well i need it, i dont want a single scratch on my phone
Get a tempered glass. My s20 plus fell from my pocket and got shattered since it had no protection. Tempered glass always absorb the damage to the front screen.
The screen protector reduce scratch while gorile victus for crack
@@arc8218 i found the oliophobic coating that makes the creen smooth and fingerprint free wears off these creen protectors within 2 months, something to keep in mind

Элементарно просто. Спасибо. Очень всё продуманно и удобно. Наклеила с 1 раза
Finally, Samsung is getting more innovative 💡
by not pre-applying the screen protector like they used to do before

@@rizwanriz9777 people are saying it eventually goes away in some time? are the lines still there after couple of months? Please let me know? would help me to buy it or not. Thanks
I'm not a fan of tempered glass screen protectors. In my experience, a glass screen protector adds a visible gap between your finger and the display. There are some cases that it affects the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. I'm glad thin film screen protectors are here to stay. It's not as durable as glass but I don't mind replacing it regularly. Thanks to Samsung for adding an easy installation tool kit.

How strong is this protector though? My Alinsea protector has been on my Note 9 for 3 years and it is slightly cracked from many falls but the screen itself is in perfect condition. I think the UV-set glue underneath is what really cushions falls

I'd go with the Otterbox symmetry clear cases. Have on for my S10+ and its survived many harsh falls onto rough outdoor concrete ground. Like any gel cases, it does begin to sag at the corners after a couple of months, should last at least 6 months. I'm planning on upgrading to the S22 Ultra 512GB white NZ$2,399.
Don't buy the white colour. I'm not really sure but you can regret that colour. If you wanna stand out from the public then go for the purple one.
@@lightningcrystalroblox9376 Thanks for your input. I've had the white Samsung Galaxy S10+ for the past 2 and a half years, and I haven't had any issues based on white. White and silver are quite popular rather than boring black. But each to their own.
I went through 3 Otterbox Symmetry cases on my S10+. It's a good case and protected my phone from some harsh drops, but they usually only lasted me a few months before the rubber started to peel away from the hard TPU material on the back. I got an Otterbox Defender Pro instead and while it is bulky it's held up a lot better over time. My brother has a Rhinoshield Solidsuit and those are also a good alternative that still keeps the slimmer form factor and great protection, while being more durable.
@@ALxdCr4ftPlays S10 with white looks good due to its cool reflections. S22 doesn't have any reflections, so I guess white won't work.
bro u must give a chance to RINGKE phone covers aswell, they are inexpensive to buy and holds very good quality in terms of protecting phones, i hv been using them from long time on my note 20 and s22 ultra..

No me jodan
This shxt is beautiful 🤩❤️

The glass still breaks with this protector. So might as well skip this one. Go with the glass one
you sure bro? looked like a regular plastic protector to me.
@@237doogie6 does it really!!???
Why not just included one pre-installed in the box? I mean, minus the charger, it's not a dent in your profit margins. Could also include a clear cover while you're at it. Save the planet by redusing all additional packaging people will get by purchasing each additional item separately. It's like 1 step forward with the ocean fish nets and 5 backwards with all the additional boxes we'll get with the screen protector, a 45W chanrger and then a cover for the phone.
Because of plastic haha
'cause they won't make money if they include them ocean plastic is just a PR
They do include a pre-install one but it’s not going to last you for several years so they’re basically letting you know they have others. Plus everyone doesn’t use a plastic screen protector.
This is the first time I think I could do this myself :O
Can you make these for your older models as well? I still struggle to find a good one for my s20fe.
hahahaha poor?
I like it. For flat screen models, glass will still probably be the way to go. However, I'd like to see this in action with the slightly curved S22 Ultra. It's difficult to apply these to curved phones. And good glass protectors for curved screens comes only from Whitestone Dome (if samsung wants to make glass ones too, that could be nice) I see it in the box at the end of the video but I imagine it must be different in some way. Hopefully not more complicated.

I hope they can release a tempered glass version, to see how difficult it is to apply it to the curved screen.
s22/s22+ not using curve screen?
@@apintheforbiddenone4754 yeah this guy is using internet explorer
@@alexcsirkovics603 Check the s22 ultra, and tell me that's a flat screen.
@@apintheforbiddenone4754 I know that, and I love it. But the ultra model is still using the curve display, as I can tell from all the hands on video it's even curvier than last year's model, which makes it more difficult to find and apply the screen protector for it.
@@MVK1225 yeah s22 ultra has curved screen. I have a note 9 and I struggled for a long time to find a suitable screen protector. Tempered glasses does not work and peels of from curved sides. In the end, I found a good film to apply on the screen, I still have that since 2 years. So better go with plastic films for curved screens.
This should come directly installed from factory in each new phone sold.
It actually works really well
Samsung's screen protectors come with two, I didn't know this when I bought it and it's a pleasant surprise!
The screen protector creates horizontal lines at the edges of the middle sticker, even if applied very carefully. Edit: After two weeks, it's barely visible, though, so to the people who have this issue, too - just wait.
But it's a feature
@@BurnoutParadiceROCKS I hope you're being sarcastic.
I have the same issue. I thought I applied to much pressure the first time around but apparently it doesn't matter as I've done the second one even more carefully leaving me with the same result and it just annoys me in the middle of the screen 😫 thought I'd find the solution to it but it appears not to be solved 🥲
@@Esyxn Don't waste another one. Just wait. I waited and it became better after two weeks.
Does it go away completely?
I appreciate this but I thought samsung wanted to help the environment and not include a piece of plastic just to help hold the phone in place . This application could have easily been done without the plastic bit. Also I think I speak for most people and we all want the charger brick to be included, most people will be buying the new charger separately I don't get how this is helping the environment any better than just including it in the box.
How can you not get it?
this is what i was looking for in the comment section. the irony of not including charging brick instead including a stupid piece of plastic with every screen protector packaging.
you are doing great well done samsung i also love you ❤️
I bought one. It's easy to watch but actually hard to apply. I mean, it needs practice and not everyone is expert. And this clip itself was an expert applying this Screen Protector then edited into a smooth and satisfied clip.
This shows the confidence of the company 😅 in a big way
If you see it from another P.O.V. it really shoes how humble they really are.
No it doesn't, it shows they're listening to customers who would otherwise apply a non-fitting screen protector, so they just give them a fitting one.
Finally i can apply a screen protector correctly at home🤣😅
Can't wait to get my hands on my s22 ultra
Is there 2 lines in the middle of the screen protector?
You removed the charger and earphones from boxes of phones, and now the screen protectors gonna sold separately.... Samsung is Apple's twin
also microsd.. samsung has turned very greedy.
Should try to apply on S22 Ultra now that be a bit of challenging because of the side curve edge 😅
Tell me about it 🙄🙄
I really don't see why. Is there any difference with s10, in terms of curve that is? Because I can apply one on mine, no problems.
They made their own screen protector for it.

Screen protectors are easy to apply on flat screens. I hope they show us a turtorial on this for the S22 ultra with its curved edges without the use of wet applied adhesive. They don't show how to do this with the S22 Ultra. Gee i wonder why, as much as i love Samsung, i wish they'd stop with the curved screens. Screen protectors on their curved models never worked really well. The edges of the screen protectors would almost always lift up, either immediately or within a day. I suspect that's why they aren't showing how to apply it to the S22 Ultra Edit : some of you either compare completely different phones or just have been lucky. For me curved screens never worked well with screen protectors and cases. Sometimes the screen protector would adhere but as soon as i would put a case on the phone, the edges of the screen protector would lift up. Also flat screens may perhaps be more common but are more practical, the curved screen is more a gimmick than anything else with little practical value.
Curved screens are the best for accurate typing and bezeless immersion.flat just feels cheap
