I've been watching so many of these home birth videos and I wanted to give a shoutout to all of the amazing, supportive husbands out there! That is what brings me to tears in these videos❤
I cried when he came out. No matter how many times I watch a birth video, it always makes me cry 😭
It's so emotional 😢
Same
You’re so strong!!! I can’t believe the midwife was talking about breaking your water & telling you not to make noise while pushing. That is so far from what a midwife should be telling a mama in labor. You did AMAZING.
bingo! I was astounded at how much the midwife and assistants were talking all throughout while she was having surges, and especially right after baby was born- that's the time for baby to bond and connect with the sound of Mom and Dad's voices, not all the other people in the room. Beth did amazing
In her birth story video, Beth said that the feedback the midwife gave her about her vocalizations actually helped her to push more efficiently. Everyone is different.
The midwife said the right thing. It was for her own benefit.
70% of the midwives are like this. They tell you not to make loud noises. None of the doctors or midwives I have spoken to were helpful. After taking jabs, most healthcare professionals are just soulless nowadays. All they do is invalidate, disregard and gaslight you into thinking you're in the wrong for doing something that's out of your control.
@@ambianceoftherain they want you to make loud noises. low, deep gutteral sounds help open and relax your cervix. They don't want you to be high pitched or panic/pant
I am literally in the hospital right now about to have my waters broken. Watching for encouragement to do this drug-free ❤
How did it go?
Hope all is well xo congratulations
How are you, mama? Healthy and happy?
I also want an update!!! 😂congrats girl!
How is mama and baby?
I’m STM ON MY DUE DATE today, expecting my baby to come soon as I had my boy 40+3 3years ago at home (water) birth. Everything is ready (inflated birth pool at our bedroom) and more importantly myself! Watching your experience gave me more courage and readiness to meet my daughter. Thanks indeed for sharing your beautiful experience ❤️😍😘🙏
My hope is that home births become the norm,I had a hospital birth, a birth center birth and finally a home birth and nothing can compare to the wonderful passionate care felt from midwives. So sweet to see your experience , it brings back so many memories. Congratulations
I feel like people shouldn’t be hating on the Midwife who delivered her babies. They did NOT tell her they should break her water. The midwife does have to give the mama all the options. I didn’t hear her recommend it at all. And when she told her to try not to make noise while going through the contractions, she was trying to coach her on the breathing technique. This woman did everything she was supposed to do, and all midwives should give their patient options. You have to… legally.
I rarely comment on videos but I have to with this one! You did AMAZING Beth! So much strength and control. Just completely empowering to watch. I just had my 4th baby 3 weeks ago and went all natural as well. Watching this brings me back to that moment of birth: pure bliss! I also totally relate to when you said goodnight to your oldest, being a mother of many is such a blessing, but also hard on the heart when you have to say goodbye to their babyhood in order to have another. Thank you for sharing your experience - baby boy is perfection! God bless you and your family!
7 months pregnant and bawling my eyes out watching this. You did amazing Beth congratulations to you both 💕
5 months and same! 🥲😭
8 Months and same
So inspiring! I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant and watching your journey is an inspiration that we can do this ❤
Congratulations mommy on having your baby boy💙 I just gave birth to my baby girl on the 23rd of October and watching this literally brought tears back to my eyes🥺🤍 The sighs you made right after he came out took me right back to 4 weeks ago and reminded me of how I felt in that exact moment too. Motherhood is too precious 🥺🥰
I’m sitting here nursing my 3 day old baby boy watching this in tears! You did so amazing and with so much grace! Thank you for sharing!
I sounded a lot like you when I birthed my fifth child.. in fact I screamed once… 😂.. I was a bit embarrassed but we shouldn’t be! It’s hard work! Jubilee came out 10lbs and was my first natural birth.. such a beautiful memory.. water birth at home! Best way to go hands down!
The husband’s words are so encouraging. Bravo lioness. You did it
My son is now 19 and my daughter 18, but I still watch these videos remembering their births. Such a wonderful time in life.
When your husband said “that’s your son” 🥹🥹🥹 gave me goosebumps and tears 🫶🏼
Not even pregnant but I’m just cryinggggggg the second the video started. You’re such a rockstar and an inspiration
All the happy tears for you, Beth😭 Congratulations on baby Jude. Your strength is incredibly inspiring! Such a beautiful experience to capture & share💛
Wow! So raw and real. I love that! Thank you for sharing . May God bless your family❤
Amazing. I cried so much. I was thanking Jesus with y’all! What a miracle. Y’all were a beautiful team!!!! Congratulations parents!!!!!! He’s perfect ❤
This is lovely...I also had a home birth...I chose no cervical checks and no coached pushing....I never even pushed...FER pushed my girl into the world. Congratulations on bringing your baby earthside.
What a special moment with your daughter feeding her the bottle ❤️
Sobbing-You are a rockstar Beth !! Congratulations again on baby Jude
Omggg I want to cry! I truly admire a woman’s strength! You are great!
Thank you for your Holy Spirit filled birth story. Praying for a similar one for my second, I had an induction and epidural with my first and want to go natural. Loved how you had Abide app on. Giving me so many good ideas!
the editing was beautiful "how do you know someone is in transition" "uh well their voice gets lower" and then at 9:57 hahahahaaa yea. . . thats transition. YOU WERE AMAZING
❤❤❤😭😭 just beautiful!! I am 39wks 2 days wirh my 2nd and scrolling KZhead for birth vlogs and this is absolutely amazing. So precious!
It’s amazing to watch how you can interact like normal Between contractions. I couldn’t communicate at all during labor. I’m excited to see if this changes my next baby!
I didn't communicate much either, and neither did my midwives, just let me, my baby and my body do what we needed to. No cervical checks, barely any talking after the birth, just let us take in the moment. Just how I wanted. Super well done Beth, such a beautiful home birth to share and inspire others. ❤
I was the same with my first one. On my second birth my body literally wouldn't give me a break, it was like one big contraction. I am excited for number three in March but it is gonna be a journey. With a third one you never know. 😅
It can vary greatly! My 2nd (but first vbac) I couldn’t talk during ctx and not at all once I was in transition. My 3rd, I was talking, laughing, smiling until the baby was crowning.
Loved this , beth!!! ❤congratulations again….
Thank you for sharing. I’m 38 weeks with my second and we are planning a home birth this time. It’s very encouraging to see how powerful God made us!
Congratulations, Beth and family! You are a warrior. I am so inspired by your strength to bring your baby earth side in this way. I hope to do a homebirth for my first baby when we are finally able to conceive. Your raw emotion is helpful in knowing it is hard work but completely worth it. Can’t wait to watch baby Jude grow 🤗
SO PROUD OF YOU BETH!! You and your husband are such a great team. Baby boy is beautiful. Wow, this just makes me want to cry. Love it. Thanks for sharing!❤
Wow congratulations Beth! ❤️ I️ also gave birth to my little girl on October 10th last month! I can’t wait to follow along for more updates 🤗🤗
Congrats! Amazing job! I'd love to know where you picked up the white/cream waffle blanket you had over Jude at the end of the video? I checked your amazon storefront but didn't see it there. Thanks!
This was beautiful🥹 you did so good Beth, congratulations❤
Beth-you’re amazing 🙌🏻
This is beautiful, made me cried. You are so strong!
You are amazing! 💕 Such a beautiful video
Im sobbing! I have a 24 mos old and I'm due with my second in 5 weeks. I've been feeling so emotional knowing my 2 yr old won't be the only child anymore. And so anxious to hopefully get to experience a natural unmedicated labor as my first was induced with epidural. Your video was so inspiring and beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing and congratulations to your family! ❤️
I resonate with this so much mama... My baby will be 14 months on the 24th and I'm due April 11th. The guilt I've battled this pregnancy knowing my baby won't be the only child for much longer is tremendous...I've cried so many days and nights shaming myself... I hope the transition goes well though.. 🥺 I'm really nervous... How has it been for you guys??
That was amazing! I'm just sitting here in tears.
Congratulations!! I just had a baby boy on Oct 2nd, 8 pounds 15 oz. Home birth as well after being induced with my 22 month old girl so we have so many similarities. ☺️ So exciting, you did so incredible! He’s so precious!! ❤️ hope you’re healing & adjusting well.
I had a homebirth last week! It's really a nice option, if hospitals give you anxiety, and you have a good support team (I had a midwife and doula, but my husband was amazing, too). I'm also 46 years old and this was our 5th baby.
This was beautiful! Where did you get pool?
Current sobbing over here. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
I’m having my second baby in May so I’m emotional and excited about it ❤
Absolutely unreal. You are amazing!!
I literally cried watching it birth such an amazing miracle from God!!!!
Bawling!!! This was so beautiful and makes me so excited to give birth again in a couple months. Thank you for sharing such an intimate moment in your life.
31 weeks pregnant and crying over here. You’re a rockstar! Congratulations ❤
How's baby doing present day, mama? 💕 I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow with my second! My oldest will be 14 months on the 24th 😩
@@shyspeaks9238 she came at 33 weeks and spent 22 days in the NICU but has been home for 2 months now and is doing great! 💕
Your midwife seemed so great and your husband was so sweet and supportive!! Seemed like she gave really good instructions towards the end.
Can you tell me what camera you’re using for this ? I’m due in April and love the idea of making a vlog of it!
You did great, congratulations!
What an amazing video! Thank you for sharing. 7mo along and looking forward to a home birth myself. Youve given me confidence to do this!❤❤
I just had my second baby a month ago and also did it unmedicated! I remember you sharing about all the noises you made and that was definitely not nearly as much as me😆 congrats! So amazing!
Gosh this was so beautiful!!!
Where did you get the birth tub? It looks so comfy. Our midwife provides one, but I wonder if it would be easier if we buy one ahead of time. ❤
Oh my goodness I'm crying 😭 you did so good mama!!! ❤❤
I can't believe you did it you're so strong 😭 I lived the video like it my labor because you bring back my memories.. I cried and felt so happy.. you're really brave and faithful 😔♥️
Beautiful and authentic. Thank you for sharing!
This had me in absolute tears remembering my home birth experience
Breaking the water is so dangerous, praise you for advocating against it. Congrats mama you did AMAZING
So happy for you, Beth. Not to be punny but your grace (heh) is inspiring, I've never seen a middle name so suited to its owner. Congratulations you three on the new addition🥰 You make me even more excited to be a mom one day. P.S. Oh my goodness, if Vivian and Jude isn't the cutest sibling set of names I've ever heard!
What a beautiful video! You did an amazing job. It brought back all the feelings from my natural birth in March so I was crying away this whole video! Jude is beautiful❤
Congrats! 🎈🍾🎉🎊
I’m in tears! I had my little man 9/17 but his due date was 10/4. Also did a water birth, and it was incredible! All those sounds took me right back! You did AMAZING!
That was so beautiful I am bawling
I’m so inspired watching this video because I want to be a mid wife I’m only 12 and you did great ❤❤🎉
And I cant hear very well but I think you are listening to the Bible and keep going in faith baby’s and kids will help with that 😊
Thank you for sharing your experience, Beth!! This is so special and beautiful. 🤍
I must say you filmed and edited this so beautifully! Congratulations 🎉❤ I’m currently 8 months and get to meet my little girl soon! You did so amazingly well I hope I can have strength like yours 😅
im sorry but for me the checking and monitoring and then telling you when to push...thats something i told my midwife is an absolute no. i ended up having my first home birth before the midwife got there and it was so wonderful. even though i chose a midwife who would have respected my wishes and probably just sat there quietly. being the one the catch my baby and doing zero pushing with nobody interfering was incredible! also her suggesting to break the water and checking how dilated you were was very odd to see for a home birth and it didnt seem like you knew her or knew what to expect...but you did amazing and im sure for you it was a positive experience!
I am the once in a blue moon!!!!! Congratulations on your baby boy!!!!!!!!
This had me in tears, so empowering and beautiful to watch. Thank you so much for sharing. I am 29 weeks today with my first baby and I am planning to have him naturally. Im so happy to know that I can follow along with you and your journey with Jude while I will be going through everything for the first time with my little man! Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy!❤
You did amazing!!
Amazing! And shoutout your amazing partner!
Congratulations hun❤🙏
i’m so happy i found your channel! i am preparing for my first birth and home birth. your vlogs are so helpful to know what birth and post partum will actually be like for us! thanks :)
You did so good!!!!
Oh God so brave of you... when i delivered , I feel I'm dying. home birth is not for everyone. I was in hospital I couldn't even talk from pain almost blackout,
Midwife “we have some time”. 10 minutes later you’re 9cm lol. Good job!
Great video!
Your husband was such a fantastic supporter. You could hear him pretend pushing with you. Thats awsome awsome ..❤
Thank you so much for sharing this. We’re planning a home birth for our first in June 2023 and I have gotten so burnt out on the negativity associated with birth, especially if I decide to share that we are planning home birth. This was very encouraging and beautifully ♥️
Oooh good luuuck 😊 it either just happened or is about to, eh? 🎉
Good job mama!! I’m due with our 5th in a few months and this just brings all the emotions to the surface. ❤
Congratulations 😊❤ blessings
Omg it was the same day like my labor! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful and amazing birth. I didn't like how your midwife dismissed you (said you had plenty of time) and tried to break you water to "keep things moving".
That midwife is trash, touching, critiquing while she is ring of firing was just insensitive.
And just shut up after birth. Hospital midwives you can tell
I wouldn’t be so calm with this many people in the room and the flashlight in my face 🫣
I feel so bad for men that they don't have this amazing capacity. Everyone else seemed so small next to you Beth. You were amazing. Mazel tov!
What a hero!
Great job Beth!! Congratulations to the beautiful family ❤️ Welcome to the world Jude!!
Girl I need the link to your maternity pillow!
Congratulations ❤
Congratulations you did great
Thank you for sharing these precious moments with us! You were amazing! Praise God for a healthy baby ❤
You are very brave😊❤
AMEN!!! God Bless you guys I am 3 months and want to do natural and his dad and I are believers!! God Bless you can you please share how to be prepared for that as a Christian couple? Love you! Prayers!
This was so beautiful to watch. Thank you so much for sharing such an intimate experience. I’m 35 weeks and can’t wait to meet my baby boy.
I love 💗 watching birth vlogs on the KZhead channel app
My husband and I are wanting to do a home birth .. What are the steps you need in order to deliver the baby at home? Does the Midwife normally get there on time? Or sometimes you deliver the baby alone? This is our first baby.. So watching as much videos as possible. We are currently out of the country... But we are still wanting to go the home birth route. We love the idea of everything being natural and not in a hospital.. Please let me know! Thanks and your baby is so beautiful.
Crying at this, so beautiful 😭 so happy you got the birth that you wanted and that everything is healthy! You are strong 💪🏼 All glory be to God🙌🏻
You did so amazing Beth!!! Congratulations 🫶🏼 so inspiring! I don’t know why I feel i can’t do this, or im not cut out for this, but you inspired me. What a beautiful baby boy, God bless you guys !
