    • @@peterbreis5407 I've got roughly 5,000 hours worth of experience playing piano (2 hours per day every day from age 12-19) and it's perfectly possible to do it. Many pianists can memorise most of their pieces entirely off by heart with enough practice. I personally play all of my music from memory as I simply prefer it to sheet music. What I find incredible are the pianists who can sit down and play extremely complex pieces first time by reading sheet paper or musicians, guitarists are especially fascinating, who can listen to a song once for the first time and play it back exact. Crazy stuff.

  • This must be at a musical arts “heavy” school. Because pretty much everyone instantly turns their head understanding he’s doing something elite. I feel like people who don’t know much about music, or piano, would just be like, “Oh, that’s pleasant.” And just eat their food. Edit: I can’t imagine many non-arts schools would have a piano in their cafeteria to begin with. Lol

    • Actually, what he meant is, that the internationally recognized tone for a tuned piano is 440 herz, while his piano is set at 432 herz Wich was the international standard before 1955.
