🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  • With all due respect but I’m so confused as to why you invited PatLak. You seems to be the tpur guide and you’re educating her instead of the other way around. She has not tried chicken head, chicken ass and have not tried chicken inasalnwith rice??? That’s wild

  • Filipino street food don’t get as much worldwide recognition if we’re to compare them to other well-known Asian street food. In some way, documentaries help in providing the spotlight to far lesser known cultures and traditions and so much more all across the globe. In general, Filipino food is influenced by existing Spanish and even Chinese dishes. The Philippines was under the rule of foreign colonization for decades, so it’s definitely no surprise.

  • "Putok Batok" from the words putok meaning "burst" and batok that means "the back of the neck". So the locals know that "Putok Batok" is really a high blood pressure inducing food yet they still love to eat it. 😂
