    • I watched when Brent dropped his vid first cuz he was at home to edit already. Love watching you guys together, two innovators taking a hammer that was innovative to start and bringing it back to better than it was. Karl's experience with teaching the hammers in LV, the hand-built Rolls fender in AU and the MakeItKustom hammer from shop scantlings really brought out the potential in Brent's farmer forging hammer, BamBam2. Some touch-up on the dies and the hammer works awesome. I'm sure Brent will love the way the 24-inch, JapHands Kustom planishing hammer takes over after the hammer and brings the finish to next level stuff.

  • I am sitting here in Perth, Western Australia watching this and Brent's video and appreciate what we in Australia call "mates helping mates." I really appreciate that you took the time and helped out a fellow rod builder and shaper, get back on his feet and working, following that tragic fire in his shed. It is something that is the backbone of Australians when they come to the aid of someone whom has or is, having a really bad time. That you were able to quickly grasp the fundamentals of Brent's home built, yet effective tooling and improve the die alignment and appreciate the effectiveness of a diff driven hammer, added again to my opinion of "men of metal". You proved beyond any doubt, that you don't need a zillion dollar piece of equipment to do good work and have fun doing just that. Onya cobber(s)

  • I broke a window in a 62 Chevy back in the eighties, doing it wrong, and paid a little old Italian man to redo it with new glass, and he did it all by his lonesome in about five minutes to complete success. I sold that truck about thirty years ago, wish I never had. I've also done a 62 GMC, and sold that truck too. The guys who bought them are still owning and happy.

Those times when it's harder to attract the interest of others. As in childhood, with no particular skills yet.
