Hello, everyone !!! How are you? Welcome to our new late summer day! Hope you will enjoy watching it and hope you will like our shopping trip to Italy.
I will share here the recipe of the tarte aux abricot. I buy the dough in the shop, it called « pate brisée », so I will put just the rest of the recipe:
Mix all together : sugar 75gr, batter 75gr, almond powder 75gr and 1 egg.
Put it on the dough and then put the apricots on the top and voilà 🤗 That is it🤗
I baked it in the oven 200C, around 30 min.

I have an intensely stressful job in the hospital here in NYC. and OMG, watching this mom, dad, and little boy living their lives somewhere sunny in the south of France, my stress just dropped tremendously.

I left NYC. It’s not as stressful here, but healthcare is still very stressful anywhere in America. I’m leaving. It’s long overdue. I plan to head to Europe. I hope you find your escape as well.

I loved your shopping trip to Ventimiglia, Italy. Often people say there is nothing to do there but you have proved that a day trip there from the Côte d’Azur is worth it if you know where to go. One of the things I love about your channel is that you take us to very interesting places that otherwise a visitor to the lovely coastal area where you live will normally not venture. Simple beautiful places that does not cost much to see. Well done again.

Europe is so much better than anything here in Canada. It is so sad to leave here, but at the same time, it is so hopeful to see there is so much beauty out there. Myself and my family have traveled to France together all my life , I’ve watched videos on KZhead about France to remind me of the places we love, which were lovely, but, I have never watched any videos like the ones you are making, so beautiful, capturing the sights , light and serenity, the old buildings that are so enchanting. When we stayed in Menton we just walked to Italy, for fun. Easy and pleasant walk along the coast 😊 8:30 oof hearing that man speak French with an Italian accent reminded so much of my grand-father, I wasn't expecting such a gust of emotions! He never lost his accent even after 50+ years 😊

I would kill for that beautiful Italian market nearby. We don't have anything even close to that where I live. I love the peaceful vibes...always trying to think about how I can make my life a slower and more relaxing one like Europeans live but here in the US

Just spent 8days in La Turbie. We went to Ventimiligia one day and really enjoyed the market! We bought fresh pasta, sauce, olives. WE had a wonderful lunch by the sea along the beach. Thank you for telling me about this lovely town. On the way back, I actually saw the sign for your village, and I thought of you and your family. I love your vlog. I hope to return to the south of France soon.

And I have definitely noticed the cost of living has risen dramatically over the last year or so., and I noticed as well, sometimes the fruit and veg don’t last as long as it used to , hear in France. Hello, we just came from Cote D’Azur last week and explored Cannes to Monaco as well as the medieval villages. Our home base was in Nice which made the travel convenient to all these places. What a beautiful place you live in but not sure which village. We visited the medieval villages of Gourdon, Tourette and St. Paul De Vence. Wouldn’t it have been nice to run into you in one of these places? Beautiful, peaceful and clean air. Food was also delicious all over. I would probably go back again sometime in the future. Thank you for sharing your travels and daily life. It is so inspiring❤.

Aww! ♥ Thank you for sharing! I took my kids to Menton for their first trip to France last month and we all fell in love! The mountains, the ocean, the beautiful architecture, the weather, yummy food, the diversity, and lively culture...It is very different from Montana, USA where we are from. We have beautiful mountains, but no ocean, or older cities. Loved that we heard almost as much Italian as French there, and so many other languages--also something we don't have at home! We went to Ventimiligia one day, which was also lovely. Can't wait to go back someday!

I have to admit a few tears as I watched him walk up the stairs into the school house in his blue uniform and his little back pack. Very excited for him but also realizing my baby was growing up way to fast! He is a father himself now. Time does fly! So savor every minute just as you do!
