This video is all about Swedish slang and idioms.
There is a lot of slang to cover, so this time we are focussing on "teenager slang" and "boomer slang".
Which in many cases, has just been accepted over time and is now a normal part of the Swedish language.

  • Hej, I must say I loooove your videos, you explain really well how and when to use everything. I would like to ask you if you can do a video explaining when or how to use the word ''liksom'', which I hear a lot in the swedish tv series. Super tack!!

    • Thank you so much!! Great suggestion! Liksom is very "slang" and informal :D We will have to do a whole video about slang!

    • @@FunSwedish I'm sure they got it from you guys and girls then. Along with hundreds of loanwords. Actually I've been juggling both languages for many years. Swedish is taking over for me. It's more useful I suppose. Twice as many lovely people to talk to as well other Scandinavians 😁

  • my brothers son accuses me of using word he never heard and its not slang - I guess i watch old 40-50 ,60 movies alot and i read alot also but realised since i wont be part of any swedish groupd i raterh read crap thereafter like Remo Nick Carter Bill och Ben or read Fantomen , but as usual those older novels ahd been made by people in older times with older translaters -old words a lot , i mus have read over 1000 of those trashy novels and learn a lot of trashy words from old times
