    • He's now lost a couple rounds recently: Round three vs McGregor and Round one vs Gaethje. In general, I'm not sure many fighters can say that the rounds they win are easy. (Edit: 11/28/20; 11:36am EST: *"... would say that the rounds they LOST were easy."*) Certainly some fighters are able to make them look less difficult than others. So then to say that his toughest round (let's assume that was one of the rounds he lost) was an easy round is an oxymoron, and just illogical. He was losing, and yet 'it was easy?' So then, "it wasn't difficult for him to lose?"

  • Great breakdown. I saw a post on reddit that showed (from a different angle) that Khabib had the arm just before he put Justin to sleep and changed his mind from breaking his arm to putting him to sleep because he remembered in that moment that Justin wouldn't have tapped and because he really liked him as a person didn't want to injure him in a serious way and just put him to sleep to save him that. If this is true, which I totally see happening as Khabib did it to Michael Johnson too, fuck man that's next level shit. To be able to finish however you want whenever you want.

Khabib and I are both muslim, we slaughter sacrificial animals every year on Eid up Adha. If you search youtube for *camel qurbani* only then you will understand this hand movement which brings a 1200 pounds alive camel to the ground in seconds. Khabib uses the same hand movement but without a double edge dagger to the wind pipe of other fighters, if he misses, this punch connects either with the chin or the collar bone. • I just wanna remind everyone: • Gaethje was Khabib’s toughest matchup stylistically, and ended up being his toughest fight - and it still only lasted 6 minutes. • Khabib not only out-struck Conor (the greatest striker in the world except for Adesanya), he did not take any big shots from Conor. • Khabib also absolutely dominated Iaquinta (someone known for their boxing) with boxing. • Khabib broke the record for most takedowns landed in a fight (21), and he did it against a 4 Time All American Wrestler, and he did it in a 3 round fight. • He dominated and finished Poirier (who has beat prime Holloway, Gaethje, Pettis, & Alvarez), dominated Dos Anjos (a former champ), dominated Barboza, and dominated Johnson. • He never lost a fight. • He dominated every elite fighter he faced, never having a close fight. • He lost, at the absolute most, 3 rounds in his entire career; and in none of those rounds was he dominated. • He was never in trouble, never hurt, never stunned, and never cut. • He did all of that in the most stacked division there has ever been in the history of MMA. And on top of all of that - he never tested positive for PEDs.

He is fast, strong & this offense has, so far, has not been successfully defended. Admittedly, he is effective & has no true rival that can offer a match up.......however, he is boring & has little charisma, it is his opponents that sell the ppv buys. Like in boxing, there have been many fighters that rack up long winning streaks with their ability & style but do not excite. It is the fighters like Conor/Tyson/Benn/Silva/Crocop/Liddel/Jackson/Duran etc that make the sport.
