Там столько герметика что бошку потом долго не снимут...я как то пизденышем, был наслышан о прогаре прокладки под бошкой...нахерачил столько герметоса,что пацаны в сервисе бошку отковыривали от блока с час времени естественно вся моя родня была до 10го коленя "проклята"))))...поэтому в ролике, наверно еще походит данное изобретение .

Ah, if it was so easy to tear down an engine, clean parts and paint and have it run properly I could have saved a small fortune on overhauls lol!
33:12 even those on Rolls Royce factory would never thought of it. Why change the head gasket when you can use lots of sealant?

I guarantee the head gasket and other gaskets will leak. It will start knocking and will overheat. I cant believe they reused the head gasket and rings and bearings. Not 1 gasket was replaced. The most expensive part of this disaster was the cheap spray paint and household silicone sealer.
Not sure who told you to put rtv or gasket maker on head gasket surfaces but STOP! That is going to fail in no time.

Просто шедевр! Плевать на моменты затяжки, плевать на то, что старые болты головки вытягиваются и их нельзя ставить обратно. Зачем перебирать генератор, помпу, ГУР и т.д., ведь их можно просто покрасить. Зачем менять прокладки, ведь тонна герметика творит чудеса. Абсолютно фиолетово на привалочные плоскости - мы их сначала обильно пройдем "ведьмой" а потом еще и покрасим сверху. Особенно порадовал момент со сборкой поршневой на сухую с последующим обильным поливанием маслом🤣

Cheapest job in history. I spend more on tuning up a weedeater than this so called restoration job. I fell over laughing when he put home silicon on used rusty head gasket. That will last about 5 minutes if he is lucky But funny part is he will scratch his head and wonder why it is knocking. Overheating and pouring out oil and coolant. 😆 🤣 😂

А вас не смущает, что он даже прокладку старую поставил? И то что зубчатые ремни изношены, и то что он покрасил некоторые части, которые не стоит красить... В общих чертах, деревянный автомобиль 😂

ewery parts has old, only idiot install old parts back, all need change new, seals,bearings,pistonrings,ventile seals, honing ventiles,oil filter, oil pump,water pump,generator,all rubber tubes,clutch,clutch main bearing, working littletime but need open again all if somethink go broken, timing belt old, have him idiot,

This is just a clean up and not a restoration of the engine, but use new parts and never reuse the old parts
No torque specs just match up the marks are you kidding me old head gasket that will not seal properly

Great engine rebuild making full use of the old parts without throwing stuff out needlessly..
Do you think they did good, the answer to that is no because no new seals or head gasket or timing belt because if the old timing belt snaps then the engine is junk, timing belts can snap without warning

What the hell?? Using the OLD headgasket, using the OLD cambelt, and putting the bearings on dry...my god. What's the point of doing all this work? May as well have waterblasted it and painted it without pulling it apart. Money may be tight, but using the old beadgasket and cambelt?? I bet they dry their toilet paper and reuse it!

They do not have the correct e sockets for those e bolts . That is why they are using a torch and a hammer and chisel. I’m not sure what they think they will achieve.
Ah yes let's Tighten the rod caps and crank caps with a normal ratchet and after it's all assembled just squirt oil on top of the parts instead of when it was being assembled bc its soooo good to start up a "freshly" rebuilt motor without using the proper if not any lubricant in certain spots
Don't forget the used head gasket and copious amounts of sealant to block the oil and water galleries. Definitely a quality 'build'.

Can someone please tell me what make this engine is, ( I.e. Ford 1.8L)
It's definitely a 16v SOHC
The car is some sort of mystery meat late 80s/early 90s Toyota Corolla or Camry with the 1.6L 16 valve four cylinder engine.
Mazda enigne 1,6 l 16 valve (Mazda 323 bg )

Why in the world would you undertake such a project and still use the same old head gasket? That thing looked like it was in no condition to be reused. One small crack and the whole thing would have to be taken apart again. The timing belt looked new so I hope it was because he changed it. Did he verify that the water pump did not leak? Sometimes taking apart something and painting it pretty then putting it back together again is not the best option, but it does seem to get the views, heck I watched it.

Well, You probably should not use the word “restoration” if using old seals over again. I do know that you can in fact polish a turd…(myth busters), and that engine may run but it is a polished turd. Sorry for being harsh but why bother tearing it apart if you don’t fix anything?
