Okay but there's a problem here for grapplers 😂. Sometimes you want your hand open to stuff a takedown as one example, you can't do that nearly as well with that glove and would break your fingers if you landed with an "open" hand

I get that the ufc doesn’t want the gloves unless they own the patent but he can still sell the gloves to other promotions or even on the website cause atm they only have boxing gloves

And for those who may think otherwise, mma, and boxing gloves historically, are as much or more for the protection of a fighter’s hands than for the opponent’s body. This makes a big difference when looking at/thinking about the construction of a fighting glove.

Dude the gloves we use to have to share on event nights woth other fighters in my ammy and early pro days in 2009....man they qere so bad. Youd hope and pray to get an old pair ao youd be able to closenyour hand. I have a pair of older Everlast MMA gloves, they also are way better than the ones used by the premier MMA league. Go figure.
same issue's with traditional boxing gloves their made like you would hit with open fingers trying to slab someone than hit using the fist .. terrible 💩
