We’ve have a very efective system to get them together again. We record the baby crying and go back to the place where the baby was found and play the recorded sounds so that the mother can recognize her baby's call and come to the rescue.

Lucky find, When baby sloths fall out of trees they are pretty much just food most of the time. The poor little things probably know what's gonna happen to them so they get scared and try to call for their mum and the mums usually don't risk coming down for them. It's good you saved this little guy. Sloths are extraordinary creatures that manage survive in an environment so full of predators.
Guys I Realy appreciate how you take care of these animals including sloths.. I hope they are safe

See they recognize the babys squeak or perhaps the fact that the Mom just lost her baby because that baby is less than 2 weeks old maybe 1 week but notice how the mom doesn't grab it right away or doesn't freak out kissing the baby (which I have seen when they both fall out of the tree and the mom finds the baby by her squeaks or bleeps and when the Mom finds the baby she is so happy) but notice she smells the baby this is the only way she can tell if its hers they have such bad eye sight (near sighted) but by being handled by several people it took the Mom a moment to realize it was her and I think she was in shock like "why didn't you eat her" lol great stuff when they are that small its just incredible so so cute !
