Спасибо! Просмотр ролика доставил большое удовольствие! Неоны - одни из самых любимых моих рыбок!
How often do you feed the fish nice video- well done
nice video thanks
Hi would like to ask if your water smells like sand. Thank u
How often do you do a water change on a tank like this?
Your application of the Father Fish dirted system is important. Plants require soil. Providing a means of incorporating soil without dirtying the water is pure genius. Thank you for promoting the Living Aquarium.
Probably one of the most sootingh and relzxing aquascapes i've seen in 5 yeays into the hobby. In an era of dopamine rush , i've diligently wacthed every second. Astonishing mastery of building and ambient with so simple and unpretetntious plants, substrates , fish adn materials used. I'm trully insipred. Thank you for briging me a miuch better Saturday morning!
I found this video just in time. I was actually sitting here watching "how to clean used aquariums" because I just bought one this morning. I came across this video kinda by accident but boy I'm glad I did. After I get it all cleaned up, I want to go with live plants but I've never grown live plants in an aquarium before. Now, I'm a lot less nervous about trying. Thanks!!!
Sometimes simplicity is the key. You cannot hate this aquarium. Very well done.
Watching this on a rainy day like today makes me feel so relaxed. And the music is soothing as well. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
@@RegisAquaticsVery beautiful sir, specially for newbies. More convenient if we can see a planted discus tank setup for newcomers in the hobby. Thank you.
Absolutely stunning 😍 My type of aquarium. Gonna try making a little version. Thank you for sharing.
Very cool. I never think a tank is overgrown, the more plants the better!
Here here!!!
Never say "never"
Am I the only one who is jealous that he is able to push all these plants into the substrate and they stay there??? OMG, getting the plants to stay down was so frustrating for me. LOL
I’d recommend deepening your substrate! The more substrate you have, the easier it is for the plants to grip and stay down
lol me too
had issues when substrate only half inch deep, try adding more
Deeper substrate and tweezers Be smooth with it or it won’t work
@@selong6013 half inch! That’s crazy lol all my tanks have 2-3 inches of substrate It’s Hard moving any plants after they settle because the floor of the tank becomes one big mat of roots Deeper the better I’d go 6 inches if I could no pun intended 🤣 but aside from it being a nutrition bed for your plants it becomes a home to biological bacteria and the more gravel the more biological capacity of the tank, more stable tank
Nice, easy and "carefree" tank set up. Very good plan from the start - you knew this was going to happen. Well done!
Какая красота! Очень красиво и очень просто - любой новичок справиться. Может вы не поверите, но вы воспроизвели аквариум в советском стиле 🙂🌹
This is a really well produced video! I love the relaxing vibe and atmosphere, please do more update videos like this if you ever get the chance!
So relaxing, glad to have you back.
Thank you Taco!
Good to have you back regis
Its been awhile, but glad to see your latest video. Thank you from NYC
Woah pesticide field near by
Really enjoyed this simple design.
Good to see you back.
I’m in love with this tank
This is breathtaking ! Subbed.
The scape looks great!
You need a big driftwood in the middle and will looks amazing
I don’t own a fish tank but I’ve been consuming every video I come across on fish tank builds and I LOVEEEE your videos.
Have you got yourself an aquarium yet? :)
looks so good
Beautiful tank. I actually did a similar setup in my 75gal years ago. The jungle Vals kept covering the surface. I think I would try regular Vals next time.
Wonderful project, pretty fish x
Damn it. Even though I cannot fit another tank in my apartment, this makes me want to design & create another planted tank.
Really nice setup great job👍
A nice aquascape video...and i love the way that you make it. You have a nice work and keep moving guys.
its not even aquascape, there was barely any scaping to it. hardscape at least, which is essential
cool, I just started setting up my aquarium
I would be nervous about getting soil for my tank on the edge of what looks like a farm field but it looks like it worked here.
Thank you for this video! I didn't know I could use soil from my yard! I'll have to give it a go!
Just... Be careful. Runoff can carry pollutants really quite far, so if people in your area use weedkillers, pesticides, harsh driveway salts in winter... Might not be a great idea, even if you personally don't. Not sure HOW big of a concern it is, but you can never be too careful when it comes to keeping your pets safe.
@@dragonwithamonocle very good advice. Something people always overlook.
its cheap to buy a bag of dirt thats pesticide free, no risk of poisoning your tank
Stunning
Cool setup and nice shoes haha 😂
Been waiting for your video for a long time☺
If it weren't for the fact that I measured how much water it took to fill my own 50 gallon, I'd think mine was bigger than this one... But if indeed, this one is the same size as mine, dude. You're a big guy.
Verry beautiful, look natural
This video is so inspiring
#Thanku sir for giving me such eye soothing art,,,,follow u from bottom of my heart 🇮🇳
Amazing ❤❤
I love it Subscribed
Welcome back!
Thank you!
Nice set up bro 👍👌
So beautiful, I love it 👍
Thank you!
I never expect using simple dirt for base...i thought fancy soil bag, i hope i can immitate yours
Nice setup
Awesome video
wow, so beautiful
Thanks!
nice to see you after a long time :)
Thanks Eeshan!
Amazing bro
I love it, i have this fish and plants and i love see it
Thanks!
Woow so beautiful I have little planned aquarium
cool man! saludos desde Costa Rica :)
some wood on the bottom, some driftwood roots on one side to look like the roots of a tree, some angelfish and corys, along with the cardinal tetras, you'll have a great looking amazon trope tank
Dope content
Wow very nature 💯💯💯🏞️🏞️🏞️
Amazing✌️
Nice super cool ❤️
beautiful🤩🤩🤩🤩
sooo peacefull to just stare
Beautiful tank and great photography! I've been away from the hobby for about 30 years. I'd very much like to get back into it after I retire next year. Things have obviously charged a lot in the last 30 years (e.g., you can have fish and plants shipped to you now?!?). I've got a million questions. I'll look for the answers to most of my questions in other videos, but I do have one question now. Isn't it a risk to use dirt from the wild? Couldn't there be toxins in the dirt, or couldn't the dirt cause undesirable pH changes or something?
Красиво ! Финал отличный )
Sacré travail 👍 Je m'abonne
Love the setup, simple yet elegant!!! I was going to try something similar. However, I was going to try and use catgrass since my cat can't be bothered to eat it haha 😂😅🤪 Have you ever experimented with anything like that ? I figured if it works, it would be a super cheap alternative, and if it doesn't, well, I'm out like $5 😂
Looks great, i would have put some wood on the bottom and some corydoros.
It looked like there was at least one in there right before the adding fish part.
@Regis Aquatics What is the disc of food attached to the glass in the intro and 6 month update?
Mantab lur
The matte black background paint. Is it just matte black interior paint? I want to do this also looks so good
damn i wish I’d seen this before setting up my tank. i kinda want to do just jungle val from front to back and a bunch of slow-moving fish like pea puffers. no sight lines anywhere.
❤❤❤
Siiick
How much is a bag of soil? ,and wouldn’t it be easier to do the planting in a few inches of water?
Hi! Beautiful aquarium, very nice. Size?
How many bags of the 20lb did you use? 2? 3? Let me know. I’m looking to do a 75G
👏👏👏
All good bro?? Didnt see you posting for a long time...
Everything is good, just been busy at work. I have a few more videos I'm editing now, should have out soon!
not sure if you will see this but could you tell me if your running all the color on the RGB planted light 100% or how to you have your setting on your light ?
What paint brand did you use?
Nice!!! And the crypts didn't make it?
Thanks! The crypts did well but I removed most of them because they looked out of place.
👍👍👍👍
meus aquários são com húmus, isso que ele fez dá muito errado, o substrato precisa ser isolado para que vc possa trabalhar as plantas!
Hi, what sand was used in the video please?
Brother What sand u have used in it?
Where did you get your lid from?
Isn't it risky using soil from a farmland? Because of all the pesticides and fertilizer?
Are you used RO water?
I used to have different kinds of tanks. Also used to breed cichlids. I could never seem to get the hang of neons. I had a ton of books, other breeders. Had water and tanks checked, but could not get them past 6-8 weeks. Then they’d start dying. So I stopped trying to keep them.
These are not not Neon Tetras, but Cardinal Tetras, which somehow are much more resilient.
Neons are susceptible to even small changes in their environment. I wish the fish industry would be more upfront about certain fish like that but I guess they'd lose their market value then. These days I only source tank raised fish. It limits what I can get but that's fine by me.
I planted valseneria but it died and I don't know how to keep it from dying, any recommendations ?
Maybe a silly question. Do any harmful chemicals come off of the painted filter pieces?
I was thinking same thing why not buy black ones I thought they are usually black anyway.
Do you use fertilizers?
Aren't the vallisneria alkalizing your water?
How do you keep the sand so clean and white?
maintenance every day, that's the way of the sand
@@TheSunIsMyDestroyer ohh thats exhausting
@@gb2427 That's why I don't have sand. I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
What kind of sand did you use? No algae problems? Looks great. I can't get val to grow in my dirted sand capped west African tank for the life of me. Crazy blue green algae even with lights on only 6 hours a day!
ph
so no need of liquid ferts and Co2 & what is the difference in using costly Aquasoil like ADA & soil from backyard?
you can see the difference. the Vallisneria and sagittaria didnt grow much in 3 months. and the crypts are either dead or dwarfed. this setup wont let you grow alternanthera, rotala or even elodea. aquarium plants need nutrient dense substrate because a lot of it is lost in the water column. if you want to lock in aquasoil nutrients you can cap that with small gravel layer. your most important equipment is your filter and light. CO2 is just an accelerant and can control algae.
Why does my val not get longer than 3"? It will spread fine, but it stays short and I've supposedly got the one that grows OUT of the tank so it should get long.
I’m guessing it was mislabeled as jungle Vallisneria, but it’s actually dwarf Sagittaria. Jungle Vallisneria is the one you want and grows about 1-2’/week while dwarf Sagittaria maxes out at 3-4” tall
Just vallisneria is back and dwarf Sagittarius in front with some floating plants that's all
What is that food tablet you stick to the glass? I can't find that for the life of me
Sera o nip
Any dry worm cube can be fixed on class wall
Hi..., I've tried 2 times with Garden soil and Coco peat but after a week plants melting down why bro and the plants are low tech
If the soil is way to rich in nutrients it can cause a lot of problems. Perhaps that is what has happened in your case.
Where are you getting your plants ? If they were grown out of water before purchase, such plants when added in the water, melt off
The soil and coco peat mix might be too strong in nutrients and cause everything to melt. Alternatively some plants are just bad even though they look good. I recently got 4 tubs of monte Carlo for a scape. 2 one one place and 2 from another because of stock issues and 2 tubs that looked good melted to nothing while the others were fine. Both In the same tank.
Please make video again
Which plant are those?
