Mate you need to actually pay attention when you review. Firstly the “ indicator on the front of the mouse” is not an indicator, it’s part of the wireless antenna. 2:24 It also does have a battery indicator where the clicks meet. Idk if you saw it , you know the three white leds you see when the mouse is on. Sadly zowie doesn’t have a battery percentage per say since they don’t do software but assuming you’re a decent mouse reviewer you should be able to do some calculations and see how long it takes to reach the final led for example. And I know for a Fact the mouse doesn’t have Kailh 8.0, it has the same old huano switch the wired zowie mice. You NEED to do a better job at reviewing things for the love of god.
Just a usual uninformed review on specs they think they can talk about. Focused quite a bit on the 3370, weight and click noise? I mean really? Click noise? Why is that even a thing? I don't buy a mouse based upon click noise.
I don’t mind the 77g but the price is still too high, they just need to sell the enhanced receiver separately and sell the mouse for $100
I don't know if everyone knows that the core founders of Zowie left and started Vaxee. I believe in 2020. I'm guessing this is why Zowie hasn't done anything in so long with their mice. And when they finally do something, it's something so small. Because the people that created the mice we love and remember today aren't there anymore. Going to be a great year for mice. Too bad Zowie is charging an arm and leg for something already outdated. Wait for the same mouse coming out by Vaxee that'll be current and competitively priced.

They did release their competition version of a wireless mouse and it’s relatively the same as far as weight as the Zowie.
there is a market for this absolutely, but its more of a niche now than what it once was.
Not every mouse should be lighter than 60g.... I personally like my mouse around 65-73g. I get alot more control with it and smoother aim for games like Siege, and Cod. I've always been a fan of a bit of a "heavier" mouse, but I did pick up the latest Razer Viper Signature edition. Feels wonderful in hand, but I always find myself going back to my main ZA13-c. Lol. Its just my personal opinion.
i just wear weighted gloves then i can use any mouse with maximum accuracy
Za 13c is below 70g and very narrow. You must have smaller hands because I bought the za13c to try it when people hyped it up and I was extremely let down.
Its just shape bro, if the za13 was lighter after a week or so you would be GAMING. For sure.
There's definitely diminishing returns around 65ish grams IMO. The difference between the GPX Super light and a Model O is negligible. The difference between a Model O and a G502 is massive. The race to make a 0.3 gram -4 ms latency mouse is just for marketing and one-upsmanship. As long as it isn't some giant clunker it isn't a big deal at all.
@@WorldKeepsSpinnin Is not the shape. I honestly don't like Zowie fk1 shape, i had multiple mouses but i know for sure i perform better with zowie and that is because of the weight and build quality. I also have Lamzu Altantis mini, still prefer zowie.

Wheel,coating,clicks and skates should be upgraded on all zowie mice. They birth a lot of shapes but need to catch up in other areas I feel. Still one of my favorites though.

The target audience for zowie has and always will be boomer Cs and valorant pros or otherwise, it's just what a lot finds the most success with. I will add also that I've had the superlight for about a year now and have yet to find a comfortable grip for it(my preference is palm), and the ec3 has just been perfect for it. Granted that it is a absolute dogshit for sweaty hands like mine, the pulsar xlite and dav3 might be better alternatives... unless you know about the secret tissue hack.

Alot pros will mostly use Zowie mouse. You just cant beat those originally created shapes they came up with. Everyone tries to copy them, but in my opinion it'll always feel the best in hand, no matter what other clones they come out with. Especially with the ZA series. Nobody was able to ecreate that shape yet, and its one of the best Claw grip shapes if not the best, out there. There is a reason why most pros use Zowie mouse....
I'm in my 30s and I use a dav3. I feel like its the more casual boomers who default to zowie.
True, but Zowie's shapes are so elite that it's frustrating they refuse to adapt to the modern mouse market. They could so easily get back to the top if they just made well weighted wireless versions of all their mice with improved scroll wheels and sensors
@@hidingman3578 Most of us who have always used Zowie mice like the scroll wheel. Yes, it sucks ass for browsing the internet but it's a GAMING mouse and the very high tactility on the scroll makes it great ingame specifically.

I get you don't like the mouse but ragging on the scrollwheel and coating just made it seem like you meant for this review to be negative rather than objective. Zowie's coating has been universally praised and loved since basically forever. Saying that it's gonna add grip "for some" when it does for the majority of people made me go ??? The scroll wheel is also completely up to personal preference. You can say you hate it personally but ragging on it as a pain point about the mouse when the people the mouse is literally made for actually really likes a very tactile scroll wheel is anything but an objective criticism of the mouse.
Zowie IPS panel would be nice I would buy.
Same 1440p ips with DYAC would’ve been instabuy for me

Would be a top mouse if it was released around 2018-2019. But in 2023, at that price point? Even the stability & reliability is somewhat questionable (ropz got his EC2-CW cursor jumped at least twice on the last IEM Katowice)
Only happened to Ropz though, not anyone else using the mouse at the tournament. Tons of other pros are now also switching over to the EC2-CW. Considering that there's just a massive chance that Ropz just got insanely unlucky. Eitherway Zowie have always been excellent when it comes to repairs/replacements through their support so as an average consumer this isn't anything that you need to worry about.
@@hampustornros this is one pro we've seen. there will be dozen others that are not on stream. after claiming they have superior transmission and sensor implementation they just shot themselves in the foot... this just isn't anything to justify. only fanboys will buy this mouse. we'll see if it's enough for zowie. they need to step up their game
My dav3 had the cursor jump twice. After that I updated the firmware and hasn't happened since.
@@hampustornros the thing is, Zowie always flaunts their reliability because of their "e-sport first" approach. Going as far as charging a premium price for outdated but "proven" tech (PAW3370 on €190 mice in 2023? seriously?), take years to develop wireless mice with the justification that it's having superior hardware implementation & reliability, even making that weird ass tumor of a dongle to improve the signal stability. If they can't back their words even with all that sacrifices, what's the reason for picking them? There are already a lot of Zowie inspired shapes out there (Xlite inspired by EC, Viper & Haste inspired by FK, Pwnage symm 1 and others with the same OEMs inspired by S, and maybe the upcoming X2H inspired by ZA series). I know maybe Zowie has preferable subjective feeling for some people (better coating, clicks, etc), but at least these mice either cost way cheaper or have far more advanced tech on them. And if someone wants "e-sport oriented" mice, they can just go with Vaxee

When ever i hear the scroll wheel argument i remember just how out of touch reviewers are with the actual competitive scene. Many ppl use the wheel as a full movement key - its about tactil, reponsive feedback. When you browse online, you scroll so slow its not even audible without headphones
Looks like I'll be sticking with the DA V3 Pro.

@@Midclimb it felt different going back from 4k to 1k. Once I had experienced one I refused to go back even though it may be a placebo affect.

Zowie made a post on their FB account stating they hope to have stock by late March 2023
People really complain about a Zowie Wireless mouse weight. You can't be serious if you thought they'd go lightweight....that's not Zowie. Not every mouse needs to be 50g and below.

Not a chance. That weight, dated tech, you pay £170 for a wirless thing which does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LOLOL. Zowie plain think it's still 2009. That mouse is worth £69.99 AT MOST. Great honest and realistic review - thank you - it's literally a 6.0 though.... At £69.99 it's an 8.5-9.0. Zowie need a Delorean with a flux capacitor to sell that garbage.
Zowie needs to make an s3-c (downsize version of the s2-c) fk3-c There will be a new zowie shape with some elements of es. New gsr refresh is in the works And lastly i want zowie to add 8khz polling rate to their wired mice

@@Crazmuss I am not sure if it's double clicking but it started clicking by itself or releasing a button, like if you drag something with your left click and it just releases it without me releasing the button. They replaced it though just now. I have also bought Zowie and I love it LOL, it's my primary now 😊
@@buzzikea you see I was long time logitech user, and I was always wondering how are their gamer mice always end up getting clicking problems. Not their cheaper office mice, not any other manufacturer mice but every gamer mice.
This is for those who are saying that we are complaining about the weight. Well no, not really. What people don't understand is that when a wireless mouse is heavy, the weight distribution is at the back due to the battery which is very noticeable & feels horrible esp due to the weight(esp for fingertip/clasw grippers). Lighter mice tend to have better weight distribution and even if it is a bit towards the back or the front, it can be managed and won't hurt the hand or the wrist cause it's light, when playing for longer hrs. They are aimed more towards low sensitivity players so, if you have high sensitivity, obviously you will loose control whereas for low sens players, a heavy mouse will feel like a brick to move. There's also the concern about mobility and freedom which you don't get much in heavier mice while lifting/swiping it.

ouch.. seems like same old shit. I lovedd the zowie mice years ago, but nowadays, especially given the price, there's just better options. meh :( Heres to hoping they will at least make another generation where a 150 price tag actually seems worth it.
I agree zowie has always been behind but they made up with thier shape, but nowadays shape really isn't an issue anymore since newer companies have come into play. Why get zowie now if you can get finalmouse or glorious for much cheaper
thx for the video Zowie mice are not realy modern, but Razer isn't an alternative - I need to buy razer's mice every year. because Razer mice have quality like aliiexpress mice I can't understand why do people still buying Razer's mice. 10 ears ago they was great, but for now it's a trash

Bro, if it took you a WHOLE MONTH to get used to 76/77g, you either 1) Need to go see a doctor about your RSI injuries, 2) stop lying, or 3) get "gud". It took me 1 day to drop 20 bombs on CoD, PuBG and Fortnite. Something that was not possible for me with that rigid straight edge shape of the DAV3 Pro. The DAV3 Pro has no curves on the side, it hurts my wrist and tendons in my forearm after a couple hours of play. Has nothing to do with the weight differences. Also, you're review is completely inaccurate. You got the easiest things wrong about the mouse, like the not having a battery indicator.... bruh... lol.
Non PTFE feet in a mouse of that price? Zowie is smoking some good hashish.
7.5 was very generous of you, seems like you are trying not to offend the company. If you break down your scoring into sections and give it a 1-10 in each section this would have had a much lower (but more accurate) score.
there's simply no reason to ever buy this over the razer dav3. stay away from zowie! they're has beens.

There´s actually a really good reason, that being the shape. DAV3 is bigger than the EC2, that´s why some pros went back from their DAV3 to the EC2
@@LshowKnows majority still went for the dav3 or just stayed with the gpx superlight a very and extreme minority of players are using zowie mice, tho i am talking about valorant and for csgo some are just sticking to the old ecs
This mouse is dated af. People only give it a pass because of the Zowie name.
Plenty of us out here don't want lighter than the Zowie line up. Plenty of us care very Lil about wireless. Plenty of us that do want wireless but want something like Zowie did, powerful dongle/dock.. I'm glad Zowie and vaxee aren't chasing the latest dumb millennial fad.
