Vévaki - Edda (Full Album 2020)

2024 ж. 13 Мам.
1 152 498 Рет қаралды

"Edda" is a compilation of various poems and stories from the Poetic Edda, or "Elder Edda" put to music. These stories are part of the biggest collection of anonymous Old Norse poetry dating as far back as 800 AD, and have inspired many artists and musicians throughout the ages. This album seeks to bring to life some of these tales, and to help the listener forge a connection with them.

  • This calls out to me . I’m of Swedish heritage. I feel like my ancestors call upon my inner wave length to make me remember Viking heritage and Scandinavian ways. Very peaceful and emotional album.of the course the band makes it this way great music and vocals

  • Breathing life back into my being. All the things stolen from you and I in the past. My soul stretches out from the darkness within. It knows who I am.. but I am meeting it for the first time IN THIS LIFE. I have been necrotic and only a fraction of what I really am this whole time. it's like walking through your bedroom door after getting home from a long adventure. Thank you for lighting up the path to the door for me see once again. May the blood released since the beginning continue to grace your lives for bringing mankind out of it's coma and back to being aware of whats hiding in our DNA this whole time

Ylangy !!!

    • Interesting thought. There are people who are never touched at that level by any music. They like it but they don't feel it. So amazing when you share a piece of music with someone who feels it in the same way.. May sound a little whoo whoo, iam probably not explaining properly.

    • there are those seeking self fulfillment or looking inward for that fullfillment and this resonates with their soul, others are seeking fulfillment elsewhere and driven to outward sources for it. or in other words this helps some to find their center or balance, while others have not found it yet.

    • I think it's because we all walk a different path. Some are here for a similar purpose while others may not and also a lot of people haven't found their path and that can be another reason they do not like it. It resonates with me so deeply.

    • There are some people so in tune with what's around them that the slight change in the enviroment, or a certain song can literally take you to another place. There is some music that heals My soul, and makes me feel whole again. This is Def one of them. It's not just music, it stirs my soul up in a good way. The taggleharpa is something our ancestors knew well, it send goosebumps across my skin, and makes me feel alive and connected.
