This waffle maker is amazing
Crunchiest waffle in existence
Yes it sounded way too crunchy... Nutella might fix it but it would have to stay in the fridge for the whole night
@TysyTube Restoration tu est francais non ???

Do you ever think about being like some old ghost whose work was once carefully kept but got rusted and unusable as the years went on, and seeing some person from so far beyond your time take such care to restore and bring new life to something you remember building... I think it would make them happy
How am I crying… at a comment on a restoration video on yt
That's touching for a witch like I
Now I’ve thought of it and my brain has been blessed
this is so wholesome, I know I can't speak for everyone but I also know that personally I would be very happy with it.
If that’s true, then now they can rest in peace… 🪦
1:17 - I can't help but wonder how many takes it took to get the label to face the camera. Beautiful cinematography!
ik he must have felt super tired after that
it took us just one take... btw : am that jar's manager, it's a paid actor
@@SDRIFTERAbdlmounaim lol
40 attempts, just like Jackie Chan.
Most of times those shots are reversed on editing plus using the audio of another take.
A tip is to pour the batter into the middle and let it flow out, then you dont get the "spilling" outside the hearts, lovely video anyhow❤ im currently in the restoration of me own waffleiron and hoping to use it soon! Though i do wish i had a sandblaster😅
Also, only add a third of the egg whites to the batter and fold in, slow and gentle. Then add the rest, still folding in slow and gently. The idea is to not lose too much air from the egg whites. Some of the 'lift' of the waffle comes from the egg whites. 🤎
The editing, third hand, old cinnamon, and crunch from that waffle. Splendid!
3:14 and he even grew a third hand, what a commitment to the restauration 😮
Restoration
Haha didn't even notice!
Wow, eagle eye
really that's his friends hand
@@Nonedless it’s a joke
I thought you were joking about it being in great shape, but after that reveal! Wow! Turned out beautifully and your waffles looked great :)
He says the same thing in most of his videos, regardless of the condition. In fact most of the time he mentions it the item is in horrible condition🤣
Dude, the moment the first media touched it in the blaster, I could tell how good of condition it was in. Didn't look like normal iron when it's blasted, all faded and grey. It was already shiny!
@Don't Read My Profile Photo ok then I wont
@Don't Read My Profile Photo ur reverse psychology doesn’t work on me
@@vortiez. but it did work on most of us bc I definitely got tricked xD
I LOVES the sand blaster, it’s like magic, watching the rust and grime disappear!! So satisfying! I enjoy watching life being restored in the MANY items you work hard on! 😊 Thank you!
no heart ez
“Darth Waiter” gets a thumbs up. And remember, if you ever do a potato peeler, “Darth Tater” awaits. I wondered about the merengue at first, until I realized at the end you were making cookies! Fantastic restoration, mon ami.
J'attendais quelqu'un comme toi : avoir le courage et le audace suffisant pour dire '' mon ami '' dans une vidéo fais par un français mais avec 97% d'abonné anglais qui ne comprendrons jamais le sens de ces deux derniers mots
DARTH TYSY (Imperial music plays)
Growing a third hand is something most restorers don't do. Top shelf as always.
the day someone presents heart waffles to me is the day i find true happiness
I’ve never made waffles with whipped egg whites, but when I do fold egg whites into a mixture I find it easier to combine up to 1/3 of the egg whites in first (possibly a bit more vigorously). It makes it much easier to fold the remaining egg whites in gently which means more of the air that’s been whipped in stays incorporated.
Great video! To answer your query, don't cook the waffles quite as long unless you like them that crunchy. Get some strawberry glaze in a squirt bottle and you can put it in the middle of the waffles, just add another thin layer on top of it once you're done putting on the glaze. Nice work! Turn your heat down JUST A BIT on the waffles and they'll come out fluffy and yummy each time. Just know, the more you use that pan, the better and better the waffles come out. I'm coming to your house for breakfast! XD
Very nice comment ☺️👍
That waffle looks so good! The maker is in excellent shape. I'm glad that you cleaned it up and are using it. So many older products are being replaced by new (cheaply made) items. Keep the quality made items. Today's products are made to be thrown away so you have to continually buy new.
I love watching these videos of restoring old rusty items
I love your videos and the humor makes me laugh. I like how you grew an extra hand for the heart waffle restoration. Thank you and please keep making videos. I so enjoy them.
The way you spun the rust dust bottle had me on edge, seeing if It'll land perfectly and of course it does
I’ve never seen the waffle mix put together like that…but I’m going to try it! Great job on the videos, keep up the great work!
Let us know how it turns out!
How'd it go? I've never whipped the egg whites like that, either!
yeah, i've never even separated the eggs. guess it would change the texture a bit.
Whipping the egg whites produces a batter that is less dense, creating waffles that are airy. Unfortunately, he may have cooked them when the temp was too high or for too long so they overcooked. This might not even be a waffle iron, after all! Perhaps it is a pizzelle maker which makes a thinner, crispier Italian waffle cookie.
That is the recipe for a Belgium waffle compared to your normal mix waffles
Is it strange that I LOVE the machine that blasts off the rust and paint? Very satisfying to watch all the old come off.
Now I want fresh homemade waffles. Add strawberry and whipped cream and yummo! Another great video. Thanks!
Rusty Waffles sounds like a weird band name. Or a comedian. I always enjoy seeing your content pop up on my feed! My mom used to make waffles like that, with the egg white. I love them with peanut butter and maple syrup.
Tysy my dear, I always enjoy watching your videos. That canola oil bottle... wow, is simply a work of art. It was a real treat to see it. Darth Waffle forgot the maple syrup and the butter! The waffles looked delicious though. 😋 Nicely done as always. 😍😍😍
The waffle came out so crunchy amazing work done
Thank you 😋
Never once did I think I would hear a perfect pancake crunch but this video proved me wrong and I love that it did
Great job, makes me remember my mother making waffles for us when my siblings and I were children.
I love restoring cast iron cook ware. There is a satisfying feeling removing all the rust. I like how you filed down the casting edges. Gonna keep that in mind on my next project.
The sandblaster is such a cool tool.
its 3:36 am. finally finished my college homework. hopped onto youtube, and found your channel. im glad i did.
Me: “Hey, waffle-maker, do you remember how to make great waffles?” Waffle-maker: “Sort of… I’m a bit rusty…”
Stop that. Now go to your room and think about what you've done.
Take my like and leave-
Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha
I hate it, have my like
Looks like the waffle maker my Norwegian great-great grandmother would have used. Wonderful video!
Yes, we do love our heart waffles back here in Norway. Not having a waffle iron is unheard of.
Ahh...TysyTube cooking show, what time to be alive
I love to see old items get restored. This turned out beautiful.
This is not an old item... It's not even pitted. And it didn't get that rusty, without pits. It's just treated with a few household chemicals to induce surface rust... And then he amazes the world cleaning it up. 🤣
Always good seeing people restoring normal everyday household things. Bonus: You get better waffles from these old Heavy cast makers than the modern light electric ones.
A restoration video and waffle making!?!?! Top tier 10/10
This reminds me of when I restored my grandma’s old cast iron cookware set. I wish I had half the tools you do, especially since one of the pans was so pitted I had to give up on it. Still have 5/6 and wish I could do more restoration projects. Thank you for putting the time and effort into what you do.
This is incredible! My mom has a waffle maker that is very similar to this one, it makes the best waffles in the world. I absolutely love your restorations, great job as usual!
You can also run it through the "clean" setting on a self-cleaning oven. It incinerates the rust. It worked for my rusty cast iron pans before seasoning them.
If I'm not mistaken the clean setting on an oven is a MASSIVE fire risk
@@drfeelgoodx176 Yep, especially if your oven is dirtier.
@@drfeelgoodx176 someone In our building set the fire alarm off because they did that
Sandblasting, lasers, & vinegar. Great rust destroyers!
That waffle was done perfectly, nothing better than a good crunchy waffle.
My mom and grandmother would both be very proud of your work. I have had these and they are delicious. Thanks for sharing your work on this project. 😁👍🇺🇸
You can restore anything to new condition, are a master modern metalworker, and can beat egg whites to perfect peaks. What more could anyone ask for? 🤩
That was gorgeous. The waffle looked delicious. Your videography was outstanding. Thanks for sharing this, Tysy.
Dude is such a guy. Just eats it right off the microwave plate. I love it.
You are amazing in restoring such rusty items, please never stop making these videos!
That was a perfect restoration! Oh how I love to watch your sandblasting, it's so relaxing. Despite being a very good cook, I've never been able to make a waffle like you did. This was a brilliant video. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend. 👍🏼
Dude I want a video where it's all his videos but it's just the parts where he does the sandblasting
Excellent cinematography and editing. Love the pacing and clarity. Excellent restoration as usual. These videos are so relaxing and satisfying to watch, and now I must get a napkin to wipe of the drool after seeing those delicious waffles.
That crunch from the waffle breaking was satisfying
Satisfying crunch at the end!
Sand blasting so satisfying. Never get fed up with these videos. Keep up with the good work 👏
Nice job again, always great to see you revive what was forgotten. They really don't make things like they used to.
✨THE SANDBLASTING✨
i love the fact that you reseasoned the cast iron- very nice touch
That was an amazing restoration. This proves that you're wafflely versatile.
The entirety of the video is so aesthetically pleasing, love it!
Not gonna lie, love this man's beard
We love that you made waffles at the second half! Thank you kindly for adding family friendly content.
Just love your videos. It's almost therapeutic, watching something old and rusty become new again.
Google Translate.
@@alex_chubanoff I didn't get it, wdym? Him having a face reveal requires a milestone passed?
By far one of the best restoration videos
Next time you use that wonderfully restored waffle iron, don't skip the maple syrup! 😋👍
I like that you whipped the egg whites. It probably made the waffles light in texture. Great video! ❤️😺
Lovely result! ☺️ As for the rust dust, you could probably use it to make some ebonizing solution for woodworking projects. I’ve made my own from rusty steel wool pads and vinegar. It also needs tannin to react and create the deep black stain, so best used on oak or very tannic woods.
no heart ez
I have never seen egg whites whipped before being folded into waffles before. Now I can’t wait to try it! Thank you Darth Waffle!
Sometimes my dad would get up early and make us waffles from scratch like this. They tasted so good. Especially since my dad doesn't really cool at all. I'd really like him to cook more though, but big waffles are kind of special because of him now ❤️
What else to say than: "Excellent content, as usual!" Go for it Mister Darth Waffle!
Those waffles look great! Side note: I'm following the rust dust jar, can't wait to see what will become of that. 😀
im trying to find out what happened to it still
You are one of those people who actually dont click bait when they do this and it is so satisfying thx so much for making me always be able to go to sleep. No like literally i fall asleep to these
Me watching this gets an idea for a name change: "TysyTube Luxury Restoration". Seriously though... Excellent job. Love watching your videos, so relaxing.
I love your work Tysy, it’s what calms me down and helps me sleep on difficult days. Thank you :)
Same!
Those waffles turned out awesome! Great job on the resto too!🤘
This makes my heart happy, my pa had a similar waffle iron that he always used to make waffles when I was a kid, no yucky floppy waffles, proper crispy ones. The only waffles I would actually enjoy having. Thanks for a great video!
I love your videos they help me sleep. so here is a baking tip: When you fold in the egg whites do a small amount first to lighten the batter; so, it won't completely deflate, and then fold the rest gently as possible to keep them aeriated.
The result was absolutely fantastic! And even made a waffle!!
I respect everyone who were involved in this , Seriously the best piece that I' ve ever seen on KZhead ,HATS OFF TO WELL ALL ! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS !!!!😌😌
I love the results! Your hard work will pay off someday. You'll be recognised for fixing the rusty and unusable items, people will thank you for your work! Luv your video! 🖤
I like how it suddenly became a cooking show. Still, looks delicious, I might have to try it.
Love your videos, they are amazingly satisfying! The crunch of the waffle was so good too
Your videos are always so relaxing, great job!
We found two of those in our barn. This video made me want to restore at least one of them and use it to make waffles on our old cast iron stove. In the same place we found a cast iron frying pan that was just as rusty. I fixed it a few years ago and have been using it every week since.
Ce fain ca un roman poate face atatea lucruri:)))
Love your videos ! Your work is amazing !
You should’ve put some of the cinnamon on the finished waffles! :)
When you have the right tools, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE 😁👏🏼😁👏🏼😁👏🏼😁👏🏼
I love their videos, I watch them every night before bed and they're amazing.
I've never made and ate a waffle like this. (I'm Dutch) But it looks delicious! And what a great job restoring this waffle iron!👌🏻
Like me, I think it would be interesting for many to look behind the scenes of video production - to see the full cycle from choosing an object for restoration to publishing a video.
I love your ASMR videos. There's something different you do with the videography that's so satisfying along with the focus on the sounds it makes.
OMG wow!! Thank you so much for the ending demo 😊
1:17 How many times did he just try .. 😂
457 times He said it in the description
bro the effort and dedication that this guy puts in his videos is immeasurable, love from brazil my guy ❤️🇧🇷
I've been watching your videos for a while and its really good seeing something being restored to it's former glory
I honestly didn't even know these waffle makers even existed. Looks good, as always.
Great restoration as always! The only problem is that now I'm craving waffles at 1am 😂
Love to see old quality stuff restored. Your home must be a real treasure trove. Waffles look nice too. Yum!
Oh my god that snap at the end sent me to heaven, that was divine, hope it tasted as good as it sounded and looked!
love videos like this. restoring old stuff to work again is great
Another outstanding video! Where did you acquire this waffle iron and do you know it’s history? Did you add it to your cast iron collection or did you eventually re-home it? Thanks again! :-)
you know with the extra rust you can make it into a type of spice and cook it with something and feed it to the people you hate most
It's a nice surprise when a video becomes a cooking video!
Maple extract goes woooonderfully in waffles. I put in 3/4tsp in a normal batch recipe and it goes quite nicely. Also goes well with vanilla and chocolate cakes.
Can i send any old stuff for restoration to you?
