The calm part is the assuring part that you are safe and you have everything you need until the frantic and louder part of the song that reminds you that you're stuck in a infinite expanse of an Ikea with no way out.
It's interesting how it gives a calm, reassuring feeling but also makes you feel.. anxious? without hope? depressed? It's like a hug from someone you don't exactly trust, but you think that they've changed or you misunderstood them.. though you just can't help it Also the sound matches so well to the game it's almost scary. Perfect tune, perfect instruments, perfect game to play it on, perfect time.

Working on my homework right now and just turned this on! The beat is so perfect that you want to listen to it for hours on end without getting bored. I can never get tired of the music in 3008. It gives me a jolt every time the loop ends, as if I am going to hear the loud crash of the lights going out and for my room to go dark. An ominous but happy tune
I don’t think anyone one will see this comment, but I thought I should write it anyway. I’m 12, almost 13, and I have been playing roblox for who knows how long. About 4 years old. I have never seen this game before. One day, my brother wanted me to play a game with him called “3008”. I played it. It was the best game I have ever played in my entire life. It’s like, another life to me. I felt like I have played the game for years and missed it so dearly even though I have never heard, played, seen the game before. I usually play it with my friends, and it feels like home…when I get off, I miss it so much. It makes me want to play it everyday. It makes me want to live in the game…and this song, I have heard before somewhere…and when I played the game I finally found it again! And now, I can listen to it almost every day. Whoever made the game 3008, I hope your life will be peaceful, calm, happy, and joyful. Thank you.

I have no idea why but the Friday ost sounds like a nostalgic song that’s never been played, but listened to thousands of times. Or like something out of a fever dream as at. 0:21 - 0:41 the sound changes to show despair but then goes back to normal as if everything’s fine and normal. The one hour loop in in my playlist, and I loop the 1 hour loop.

I love how it sounds like when you’re doing fine running around, but then after looking for exits, for hours and hours, you just go back to the hideout you built, it took you days, and you sit down on the bed you dragged there in the middle of the night, while running away from the terrifying robot-like employees. You realize. You’re never gonna be able to leave, to see the people who loved and cared for you so deeply. You’re trapped there forever.

I love the part where the song transitions to a frantic state. It makes me feel so desperate, but then it changes to a more reassuring and stable tune. Perfect.
The frantic bit sound like you are finally gripping your sanity after being controlled for so long, you feel yourself, you notice where you are, you question everyone, no one appears to believe you, until you're crying at their feet for them to listen, you're angry at everyone, but the realisation is only brief, and your back to the horror of being trapped in your own head, your own mind, your own world.

This is the sound my memory of my first computer room makes. Remnants of the 90s. Math games, kid pix, the old, green, carpeted floor that was obviously like that wince the 60s, it's fibers pressed down totally flat, absorbing the heat from the machines and making it the hottest room in school by May. I can't explain why, maybe it's the sound font, but it really feels like those "good old days".
People who’ve never heard of 3008 wouldn’t know this is the theme song for a horror game, and it wouldn’t make sense until you play it because it fits so well

SCP: 3008 is an odd game. It can be scary, but can be comedy gold if your friends are stupid enough. One of the key issues is that it's a bit of an easy game; but hey, doubt it would be as fun as it is to build a sky fort out of kitchen tables, TV screens and wood palates if it was a nightmare to get those items. Also, playing this alone on a one life challenge can be scary if your not a pro at it. If you want more of an upper hand, look at the article SCP-3008, the article the game was based off of!

EVERYONE VIBING! it matches the game! for some odd reason, when i hear this song, it makes me feel something about the floating house. like, what if the floating house actually used to be on floor level, and not behind the special pillar? what if you didn’t have to climb 804 studs Y to get to it, what if you just had to go to the center of the map to find it? the song makes me feel gleeful. like, playing outside gleeful. it makes me feel different about all the badges. it makes me feel like they have meanings. like kings remains. we all know it has a meaning, king knocked over a pillar in 4121, he died, his body is buried at the broken pillar. but, what about the *other* broken pillar? it’s not entirely broken, but a part of it has been kind of like, *chipped off.* did king do that too? and, DJUNGLESKOG, how did the bear get so popular? why can’t you find the sacred chocolate elsewhere, why is it only at the floating house? did a civilian have a bar of chocolate, and randomly climb the pillar, built a house behind it, and put the chocolate there? the badge is gone, but the lost survivor. how did it get wounded? how did it get there? who hurt it? i know, im overthinking, but this song really makes me feel those stuff. it’s actually *crazy.* thank you to the person who made this 1 hour, and thank you to uglyburger0 for making this wonderful game.

i imagine a "sanity bar" that can only be restored by humming the melody of current ambient song and when the bar is empty the controls get funky, like some buttons not working at the time when you want or your character moving on their own at times. but i doubt that it can get added due to it being more of a inconvenience and kind of useless mechanic.

First 2 verses sound like simple store music... But the next two are faintly much more aggressive, reminding you that things around are just an imitation, alongside the music.
You can hear the loneliness and confusion in the song, but at the same time, there's an attempt to mask it with happiness...
this is like the ice cream song from lethal company in a way, the base sound is supposed to be happy somehow, but while it does that, it just gives you an off feeling, like you know its all just a diversion.

I feel like while when you first hear this song, you think it's a happy song, but when you take a moment to listen to it, it sounds like there's confusion and loss in it, despair. And the happiness is masking it.

This game will never not remind me of this one memory. I had 2 friends, which i met from Roblox Got Talent, we played and got along well, but then they started acting suspicious. Like they were hiding something. Then they were playing this game and i joined them, only to get spammed to leave from them. I knew something was up, and yeah. They just kicked me out of their lifes. But still, i remember them building a base in the far corner, I never stopped building the same exact base since. It's fun thinking about it again.
