For those who are still doubting why Junghwan won this battle, 1. YG judged them based on their improvements rather than their performance alone. 2. Hyunsuk trained for how many years and Junghwan trained for only a few months before the show. Surely, they have different criteria. Imagine for example a 6th grader fighting against a grade 2 student. 3. He sees the potential of Junghwan. 4. YG maybe wanted Hyunsuk to focus more on his main skill: RAPPING. 5. YG want them to learn a lesson.

Indeed. In evaluating art, it is not the final outcome that is most important but the process or journey on how the art is made. YG has the eyes for evaluating artists but people still doubt his decisions.
The reason why Hyunsuk chose to against Junghwan in dance position here is not becoz he wanted the position, but the reason behind it was he didnt want to against Byounggon, his bestfriend in rapper position. Meanwhile, he wanted to debut together with Byounggon back then. He went thru such hardest situation n came up with difficult decision in the episode. 💜

He mentioned at the start of the survival that he would focus more on visual, which is why he preferred the younger one. He believes that Junghwan posseses this charm that will explode someday after years of training. Hyunsuk is much better at dancing, but if the number of years of training is taken into consideration, he has numerous advantages. However, if both of them had started training at the same time, he would easily be overshadowed by Junghwan. That is the reason the YG main producer picked So Jung Hwan.

I think yg wanted hyunsuk to work harder . Sometimes losing makes you more stronger and try harder. hyunsuk has trained for so long , he must have more affection with hyunsuk. But i think hyunsuk did better( his comfort zone is rapping) but still he did his best I'm very happy that both of them are going to debut. Let's support all the 12 members till the end.

However on the pointing out their flaws comment, I think it is important tonguve them constructive criticism as they are , as you pointed out, still training. They are young and talented, but they still have a lot that needs to be improved. It is okay to give them criticism as long as you do it lovingly and because you wish for them to do well. They put their own little twist on it. Also, have to remember Jimin has debuted in 2013. Junghwan wasn’t old enough to be a trainee and Hyunsuk could’ve just stared.

At first i don’t understand why hyunsuk chose dance challenge coz i knew him as a rapper but i understand now. He wanted to show that he is not only a skilled rapper but an all rounder. I came back here after following them from start to debut. So sad to see so many hate comments for So Junghwan But did you know this baby is improving so much now, he surprises everyone everyday. His facial expressions, his voice getting clearer, his dancing is amazing. He really deserves to be a treasure-worthy maknae. slowly but surely, people were happy with So Junghwan's presence. Inrroduction to Junghwan before you hate: Junghwan is soooo talented lemme just tell y'all he is A 05-liner He really does resemble bts jungkook in terms of looks and peformance he was a member of K-TIGERS he is an achrobat and can dance to differnt genres of music has done taekwondo for years is a great singer his voice is the clearest out of all the members he can rap and he is only 14 years old and has only had 7 months of trainig in yg and made it as the 3rd member there was some hate about him making it in the debut team bcs no one really paid attention to him but when you pay attention to his dance moves like in the peformance goosebomps you will literly feel the same way like me my bias was seunghun a top peformer in ygtb and had 9 years of trainign on his hands tbh i was mad that he didnt make it but then i realised that junghwan really deserves this he is a oure guy and has a lot to show junghwan has literly been a trainee for 7 months and is already main dancer material no one in ygtb was as talented as him in 7 months training even yg said it there are great things coming from this dude (and ofc his visual he has a manly but still cute face thats why he resembles bts jungkook also his smile)

Okay, let's get something straight. Jimin made the choreography himself, he created the song, he has a lot more emotional value towards this song, obviously, as the creator he is going to know the choreography in and out, he will be better at dancing it. But holy these trainees still did amazing. I don't get why people are comparing Jimin, a well known idol, and a graduate of a dancing academy, and expecting that these trainees are going to need to be better. Don't compare the two. It isn't fair to the trainees, who did amazing for the fact that they are...still trainees. Jimin has a lot more experience. Let's applaud these trainees for actually taking on such a complicated and difficult choreography, and doing really well.
People still being salty that YG didn't chose Hyunsuk. It's been 3yrs and they've debuted in all. Cheer them on instead. Comeback is coming.

I don’t get Yg’s logic. If he said that Hyunsuk had more skills, then that means that he should be the one picked. But he says that since the other trainee didn’t train for long and was decent he picked him? This performance should’ve been solely based on skill. 2021- So Junghwan is now studying in SOPA practical dance major. Currently one of the popular student in SOPA. With his more refined dancing skills now. I keep coming back here because Junghwan trained for only 6 months at the age of 13 he performed with an old refined trainee in front of the judges and the former CEO. He nailed this.
