  • I think this song is about loosing someone due to cancer/death, like he refers to morphine which is used by a lot of patients with cancer and when he says meet me in the hallway its like waiting outside the door of a hospital room, in the hallway, and he will be there for them... i think it means that because of something i went through and i dont really think its about a breakup... but this song is one of my favorites ❤ and maybe when he changed the lyrics to "he" left me in hallway, he was talking about his stepfather..

  • This is one of the most underrated songs of Harry, i mean it's a masterpiece! It's like that euphoric feeling when you get when you're hurting, like you need something or someone to take your pain away and you're begging for it but no one understands and nothing helps, so you keep hurting yourself more. Wish i could explain my feelings every time i listen to this song, idk how to say it but i completely feel this song and all those emotions.

    • I'm very sorry for your loss and I know it must have been difficult to watch him struggling and heartbreaking to see him go, but I'm glad Harry's song was able bro bring you peace. My mom passed away 2 years ago unexpectedly when I was 14. It was unexpected and due to a liver cancer that went undetected. I didn't have to see her suffer as you did your father, but the suddenness of it made it all the more painful when we heard about it. She wasn't with us the day it happened and we heard about it from an officer that came to our house. I remember my knees given in as I listened from our stairs. I had a really hard time as I never had the slightest inkling that I'd ever lose her or her life-giving hugs. "Sign of the Times" was a song I listened to to give me peace, it was almost as if she were speaking to me through it, even though I knew she was in heaven and it was better than down here without her. I'm glad this song soothed you you through what I could only imagine was a terribly difficult time for you. I know Sign of the Times was for me, thank you for sharing your story.(:

After listening to JK's falling cover, I came to the original singer, listened to it, and found out that all of his songs touched my heart.   • Never been a fan of his or 1D. But i do have to say, this whole album is something else, and i wasn’t expecting that from him. He has that late 60’s - 70’s sound that’s really recognizable. I gotta say now that Harry is one of the few modern artists that i really like and respect.

  • meet me in the hallway where do I even start...this song will remain my all time favourite no matter what , it was the first harry song i've ever listened to , the guitar is soft i'll always remember its melody till the end of my life , and this melody will always make me feel the same , melancolic and also nostalgic , just the guitar in this song is the best thing ever. The lyrics , a masterpiece , plus the way he sings them it's truly heartfelt , and his voice is just soothing , I never want to forget about this song. This album will also be my all time favourite , it brings me , idk...comfort , it makes me feel all kind of feelings. It makes sadness pretty. It makes all kind of feelings pretty. The album and the photoshoot and this harry era , this whole thing is underrated and I honestly want it to stay my "little secret". It feels so "intimate" for some reason...this song makes me imagine someone lying on the ground , back to the wall , the feeling of emptiness...you feel empty yet you feel too full of emotions , the guitar feels like a deep wound , if that makes sense , and you just watch the wound bleeding , and keep it going...doing nothing...just waiting for miracles (and this applies to the whole album actually). I didn't experience things in life that made these exact lyrics relatable , but the feelings , the melody , this is relatable and I feel so connected to it. I feel like the sentence "I love it" doesn't really fit in here , it's not enough. Kisses and Hugs for you Harry...
