It’s nice to watch these old tv shows! Hunter is the man 😃
I agree . This is the first Hunter I have seen in a few decades.
Used to be my fav back then never missed an episode Oh how I wish to go back in time Good movies good series good actors
That was the start of a great partnership and a great show that ran for seven years. I love Hunter.
Yes it ran for longer than Starsky and Hutch , which I also love by the way !! 😊😊
We do too

Well, 6 of the 7 seasons were good. The 7th one really jumped the shark.
But it nosedived when DeeDee left. That actress with early onset Alzheimers and the other actress who played the character (Chris?) Novak were completely useless and nobodies compared with DeeDee. Hunter may have lasted 7 seasons, but it really only lasted 6 for all diehard Hunter fans.
65 years old and stayed away from T.V. for a lot of years. It’s fun catching up on things I haven’t seen before…and for free! Thanks for posting and thank you U Tube.
Same here, but 68...nothing new is any good.
I watched the Hunter series as a kid and I loved it. Not actually true when I check. I was actually in my late twenties when it was first aired in 1984; but I really loved it. Stepfanie Kramer and Fred Dryer are amazing.

Rick Hunter is the tv show version of Harry Callahan.
yeah homms
Works for me...
He should have used the Desert Eagle all throughout the series. That would have been the TV show equivalent to Callahan's .44.
@@johndrake2729 That's why most folks who have reviewed the show have called him the poor man's version of Harry Callahan.
Yeah that’s what I thought when I watched this 40+ years ago
Seen all Hunter episodes many years ago but love to watch again and again they were great , great casts, Rip Brian Dennehy one of my fav actor love Hunter since 80s🥰
Works for me.

I forgot how awesome this show was 🤩
I watched this series back in the 80's and loved it. Thank you for sharing.
Mr. Brian D. 'R.I.P. played his role. This episode is rich in drama. Hats off to the cast. F.D.
holy moly, did not expect to see this on KZhead, this TV series was crazy popular in China back in the 1980s! it is memory of a whole generation for us!
Chinese male TV viewers lusted for Stephanie Kramer.
Hunter was a great series the first season did suffer from 'hey I've got a great Idea the son of a mafia guy becomes a cop'. 'Great this will be cool.' a few episodes later 'I'm out of ideas, let just pretend that never happened.' 'Yeah works for me' but it went from strength to strength with that great 80's action movie feel and Fred Dryer just played the role to perfection and Stepfanie Kramer that's how you play a strong female character Brilliant series and I'm so glad you've got the series here great work
Una de las mejores series de los 80 sin lugar a dudas
Hunter talks like Clint Eastwood, in dirty Harry
Yes, I STILL LOVE Hunter. Los Angeles, California here we come right-NOW into 2024❤
"Surely you're joking" "I'm not joking, and my name isn't Shirley" 😂 Reminds me of Leslie Nielsen!
Hunter is like dirty Harry. And l luuuuv these 2!!❤️ My favorite show
I love this show particularly when he was partnered with Dee Dee.
I love looking at older shows and seeing actors who weren't known at the time. It's like playing Where's Waldo 😆
Love love this series back in the 80s ... Reliving those moments now ...
I was born in 81 so being able to go back in time and see these shows now is like virtually time traveling for me and to one of the most roughest beats of LAPDs 77th Division with Sgt. Rick Hunter and and Sgt. Dee Dee McCall is something that can't be beat.
Works for me :D
yawn ... who cares .......

Thank you for putting this up. My mom and I used to enjoy watching this show when I was a girl. Still love it!

one of my fav cop series.....remembering back the 80's show...it was a good life....real good back then...i was 9 that time...
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Thanks this is one of the best TV series ever, I'm still in love with McCall. Works for me...
This pilot got me into the show right away. It wasn't a perfect pilot but it was entertaining enough and Fred and Stepfanie's chemistry was strong enough to hook me right away and then when I got to seasons 2-6 I became a full fledged Hunter fan. Hunter and Hill Street Blues were and are the best cop shows of the 1980's.
Hunter yes, Hill no.
@Gale Ford ABSOLUTELY agree. Hunter yes, Hill St no. Been fixated with Hunter for 38 yrs.
@@JacobNightingaleso real
Hunter was very good, Hill Street Blues was perfection.
I agree. I watched Hill Street Blues also
Comfy 80s shows. I was only a child when this was on TV so I wasn't watching it myself. But I remember being around where adults were watching it regularly. comfy wholesome nostalgias.
This was my favourite serie when i were 10 Years old ! I could watch all episodes again and again now ....
I loved watching Hunter. Wish it could comeback
It won’t! It would violate Self righteous PC culture 😢😢😢
I remember this when I was a little girl back in 1980s.

She is a pro at dropping her keys.
Stephen J. Cannell was on a roll with this and the A-Team just to name 2. Hunter was a show that wanted to hit all the buttons. I busted out laughing at some of the stories. Yes so 80s. Loved the guns. Dessert Eagle, his H&K P9s with compensator. The Spas 12 Shotgun. I had a Dessert Eagle and Spas 12 shotgun, just from this show. Crazy. Stephen J. Cannell was the account I took care of their copiers too. I used to kid some of the folks what new shows are we going to see, and what kind of trouble Hunter was getting in. Good times.
I completely forgot about this show! I remember watching when I was young, probably elementary aged. The 80's were great!!! Thank you for adding these!
Especially, first two seasons are legend!..One of most popular cop drama series from 80's. Undersigned Frank Lupo and Stenhen J. Cannell that were doing great job during 80's.
Who dares dislikes this show! Love the Turbo Z, I owned a Lebaron GTS Turbo.
@Lexa Con I was 17 and a senior in highschool when I received the car, courtesy of my mom and grandma. It was an awesome car, even teachers envyed me. I almost got a 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSI. The salesman actually talked my mother out of it! You can imagine how upset I was.
@Lexa Con The reason was the insurance was too expensive. I was disappointed, but it would have been awesome having that sports car in my Senior year.
@Lexa Con Owning that car, a sports sedan. Influenced every subsequent choice of vehicle I purchased. I am approaching 50 and have never owned a coupe or sports car. My next car was purchased by me with my aunt as cosigner. At 19, I took a few steps up to a 1987 Sterling 825 SL. It was expensive and exclusive. I remember my car payment was $275 and the insurance was $150. This was around 1993, I worked a full-time job and was a full time student at DeVry. I use to get plenty of attention, being that it was a import sold through Cadillac. Miss that car too.
@Lexa Con Yes, I loved that car! Thanks for the video link. I had the same 2-tone color, except the wheels might have been slightly different. Everywhere I went, people would ask me about it. I remember going to a dealership to test drive a Buick Grand Sport because I liked the style. When I approached the salesman, I asked him about it. He looked around me and said. "Why would you want this, when you have that?" I kid you not.
I used to watch this in the late 90's on Zambia National Broadcasting Cooperation Tv with many more movies it's such a great thing to watch it again
😳😳😳 bro... Flashback to 80s on my grandmothers couch watching this show faithfully, along with falcon crest, Dallas, Matlock, heat of the night, jeopardy, wheel of fortune, sometimes nightrider or airwolf 😂 I'm almost 50 and haven't been into TV for decades but those were the days, three's company, different strokes, facts of life sometimes Benny Hill, or Jerry Lewis, Jeffersons, and oh yeah Cosby's... Dang
Hunter was the best and hardest hitting cop action tv show in the 1980s. Fred Dryer was perfect in the role. Stephanie Kramer was the sexiest actress on tv during that time, and there were loads of sexy actresses in the 1980s. This was my childhood heaven in the mid 1980s.
Examples: Tanya Roberts and Cheryl Ladd on Charlie’s Angels.
@@Landis_Grant Yep absolutely. Truly incredible high quality of ladies back then.
Fred Dryer is the man, no one messes with him!!! He's one tough s.o.b.!!!😁😁😁

Bullets and Teddy Bears, the Brass Cupcake. I like it!
I loved this show back in the day!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Oh down to memory land...I love this show!
I vaguely remember this show. I was very young. I didn't understand the storylines, but did enjoy the action scenes.
Classic retro TV series😊
OMG it's all about my childhood ,golden age of 1980 's TV show
Always watched this on Sundays after lunch.
I’ve got the entire season on DVD. Hunter always reminded me of a comedic version of Dirty Harry.
That's the reason why I avoided Hunter when it first came out in the 80s, the character seemed just to be Dirty Harry's TV version. Bit after a while, the actors in the role seemed to develop a real chemistry, and Dyers mean cop became a role unique to him. I've matured into Hunter over the years. It turned our to be a great, thrilling show. In UK, I think our version was Dempsey and Makepeace. It was so overblown and corny. Hunter was better. Glynis Barber was NO Dee Dee Mc Call
I love it when Hunter calls his gun Simon it fits it. 😁😁😁
Excelente programa de los años 80, Hunter El Cazador, no me perdia un capitulo cada domingo por las tardes , si lo pueden traducir al español latino muy agradecido o subtitulado ... gracias
Need more cops like Hunter and dee Dee.
Thank you for these uploads! Love "HUNTER"!!!!!!!!!
This is great.....no smart phones or any other rubbish....top content 🙂👍🏻
thanks for the upload, this show was MY CHILDHOOD! always used "works for me.." as a personal catch phrase.
Terrific 1st episode. Thanks for posting
Pilot episodes are rarely very good.
Great episode! I was a fan of this when it 1st aired.
When Hunter was shown in Germany, Fred Dryer was known as Herr Dryer.
Busqué esta serie durante 20 años, y justo ahora que la acabo de conseguir... KZhead me sugiere este video.
Thank you whoever you are for uploading this tv series. Yesterday once more...
The captain's character is perfect too.
One of the best shows
I watched "Hunter" when it first came out on TV. For those that didn't know, Fred Dywer played football at San Diego State and for the New York Giants and LA Rams. At 6'6", 240 pounds, he played for 13 years until he retired. He was the only NFL player to ever score two safeties in one game. Great cop show. Now, it is time to watch it again. Much better than the realty crap shows now on TV.
I liked Dryer as a cop because you always knew he was quite capable of actually doing the job!
Hola, muy buena serie policiaca ,genial 😀 👏 👌 muy entretenida y con mucha accion y suspense, saludos de Mónica 😘✨✨👍✌💖💖💫💫💫💫
A great series and Dee Dee McCall was a looker.
Thanks for this. One of my favorite shows of all time.
Aaaahh! Good stuff!! Thank you so much!!!
Gosh. This just shows how much I miss the 80s. The cars are stylish and good looking and people did talk to one another
I remember this on NBC and heroes and icons. I wish heroes and icons would bring this show back because this made my day.

I think this is the best tv seria ever made in the world.
"What do we do now, Abbott?" Hahaha!! Good one!! 😄 (Abbott and Costello, as the car falls apart during a car chase...)
McCall is gorgeous!!!
Television's Dirty Harry. I remember this show.
I never noticed the Harry Callahan vibe. They were really trying to ride the Dirty Harry popularity. I loved watching this show in the ‘80s. Thanks for the upload.
Thank you Hunter and DD Mikal for all your great shows
It always cracks me up to see the old launch ramp skits.. if that were real life the tires would explode and the axles would snap like a toothpick on landing. (12:26)
Hunter was my favorite during my teens
Love the freeze-frame shot of Hunter and McCall at 1:34:11. I thought it was very powerful, badass and legendary. It kicks holy ass.
Works for me. - Hunter. 👍💪🔥 great line. Show was much better in its first 2 or 3 seasons
