  • To all the people saying how can a woman of her stature evdn do this? This is the crazy fight scene ever. Etc. The thing is she's a trained assassin fighting a bunch of regular cops... not only that, she just shot them. Let's be real she really didn't fight until the last bit. She was casually walking, shooting them in the head, and evading. A woman could without a doubt do that. Her fighting style was primarily defensive to which she still shot them to finish them off. She even used a heavy object to knock one guy out. This doesn't seem that far fetched. Of course, her escaping relatively unscathed (no bullet wounds, damage from falling, and no real melee wounds) is a bit crazy but other than that, this scene is not that unrealistic. I mean there are scenes where men are actually going hand-to-hand with dozens and dozens of men, not getting that tired, escsping a ridiculous situation with a bullet wound here or there, abd doing it again is just a few scenes in the future. No one is like a 175lb man cannot take on all of these men, its so unrealistic how he didnt even get hurt, omg. Lastly, its a damn movie its not supposed to be extra realistic.

    @KnijMagz@KnijMagz2 ай бұрын
    • Even trained fighters at the highest level would struggle to take on 2 committed assailants with little to no training. Once you add in weapons it becomes an entirely different scenario. I suggest you take a self defense class, boxing, muay thai, bjj, kickboxing to get a little taste of what combat is like. You’ll very quickly realize how much athleticism plays a factor. I believe the gun play to some degree, but the hand to hand combat is entirely unrealistic and if you can’t see the moments where the actors are waiting to be hit then, again, that says a lot about how much you know about cqb combat. It’s not a bad thing that it’s unrealistic just as much as john wick and james bond could never get away with what they do in reality. Just don’t confuse movies with reality. I feel no need to defend wick just as i feel no need to defend anna because there no defense for them. It’s fiction it’s cool it’s badass, but it could never happen.

How much you wanna bet you don't go under stunt scenes with men complaining about how unrealistic their scenes are? Get tf outta here with that. As I said before, it's a MOVIE. There's an obvious double standard when it comes to male vs female combat scenes in movies. And it's people like you to come under here and complain about "realism" when it's a woman. Go under a Keanu Reeves, Jackie Chan, or Dwayne Johnson video and go complain there.

Then his confidence going down the toilet wasn't from her doing something clever, rather more like he did something stupid. Then, there's the reason I examined this scene so hard... It very clearly shows him move a KNIGHT to check, followed by some relatively blink and you'll miss it stuff of her taking it, and ending in her clearly putting down a PAWN as the taken piece. I honestly thought she was trolling him with a 'screw the rules, I win' before just shooting him when I saw that pawn. Turned out, he didn't even HAVE any pawns left, and she just magically transmuted the pony into a nubbin in her hand.

    • @@RalfTenbrink. Sorry, but you are wrong. Good movies need to be realistic in the first place, they induce the yes-it-could-happen thought in viewers. It is the realism which makes it enjoyable at all. Good examples are Terminator and Alien 1 & 2 and Dirty Harry 1. Everything else is next; e. g. only in second place they need to be entertaining. This is one of the reasons why so many so-called "classic" movies are still very watchable today, they often are even quite realistic. Examples: Almost all Hitchcock movies, Charade, Operation Pettycoat (yeah...) or even the first b/w King Kong.

  • No way a thinly built girl can throw grown men with military training.

    • You are assuming that they have proper military training. So many cameras aimed at us every day in this dystopian nightmare that we are now living in. You really think a real 'uman is monitoring them all , and if so is sharply monitoring them ALL? 24/7? How many of these men are just for show in a large organization.

  • Impossible to take seriously, like a female John Wick. An army of soldiers can't get in one good shot, kick or punch? Seriously?

    • Like John Wick movies. They are equally unbelievable. But I think she's a better actor than Keanu is.
