G'day everybody, Here was another audio shop at Makati Cinema Square. This one, unfortunately, wasn't open, but it had a lot of really nice second-hand vintage gear. It's definitely worth a look if you're in the area.

Yeah, that was a great place. It was a shame we weren't able to get in and make the owner and look closely at his hifi equipment, but he had some great used equipment in there I could see through the window.🎧🙂👍
An institution there.. First heard my Dynaudio Kit type tower speakers there with huge Audio Research Mono’s and Preamp.. An Oracle turntable with an A-T MC cart.. Blew me away back in ~1991..
It looks like a great shop. It was just unfortunate we couldn't get in. They had some wonderful brands there.👍🎧😊
@@shanestephenson8423 They usually open way later in the day.. The owner does the shop as more of a hobby.. He was the original local Audio Research distributor way way back, iirc. Try visiting Architectural Audio in Greenbelt 5 Makati if you can.. ‘Epoy’ the owner, carries TAD, Magico, Raven Acoustic, etc..
I was in that mall last september a couple of times and saw a few vintage audio stores. Didn’t have time to explore them as I was there to look for vinyl. Bob in bebop was really friendly and has a great little store there. Will be back and will be looking at the vintage audio stores there in a couple of years, when I am going to be spending more time in the phils and will want a decent sound system for when I am there. Appreciate you touring audio options in the Manila area. Are you aware of The Listening Room? I have seen them online and they seem to have a decent selection of brands.
