  • Hi Bobby + family. Your videos have been life changing & so inspiring for my boyfriend & I. Ever since discovering your channel back in 2019 we’ve completely flipped our eating habits from what people think is “healthy & nutritious” to what truly is healthy & nutritious. It’s changed our entire physiology in ways we never would have imagined & our bodies won’t even let us go back to sugary sliced bread & cheap processed cooking oils. You’ve actually inspired my boyfriend to go into law. He dreams to “take down Big Corn Syrup” LOL. He basically wants to make the impact you are but at the legal level & improve the way brands & nutrition labels are marketing their products. If you have any advice for him, please let us know! We love you guys! Thank you for changing the world one video at a time.

  • Great info. Our 56 yr old dad had massive heart attack. Sister and I studied studied studied some more. The man whod died 3 times for 14 minutes total, drs said would not live if he did would be a vegetable, rallied through prayer power of God, left hospital 3 weeks later under his own power. Hundreds of medical professionals came to see 'the miracle man'. We changed his diet completely. Within 4 yrs he was off half the meds, within 6 yrs no meds. Drs kept taking notes asking us what have you done? Real foods, healthy drinks good minerals. We would empty canned soups through a strainer then add distilled water. Learned how to cook with spices and herbs, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil brownies and baked goods.

  • Have your blood work done via a medical doctor. HBP can be caused by stress adrenal gland issues or heart problems etc...... Potassium levels are important as well. Potassium levels high or low directly effect heart function. Know your blood levels b4 you change your diet. Unrefined salt is best but it's still salt. Buy unsalted food and add your own unrefined salt.

    • As a pharmacist, I also encourage people to consult their doctor. There are many different causes for high blood pressure, and sodium and potassium are important electrolytes to keep in balance within the body for heart, kidney, and many other important body functions. I encourage all of my patients to eat well and live a healthy lifestyle, but sometimes due to certain health conditions and genetic risks, medications have a place also. Suddenly lowering or stopping blood pressure medications without checking with your doctor can lead to a heart attack or stroke. Some medications cause rebound hypertension, have to be adjusted slowly, or can raise potassium, so consulting with your doctor is essential! I just care about the health of others and safe medication use, so thanks again for this post!

  • Sorry Bobby but Thrive Market isn’t any cheaper than a grocery store. You may find one or two items that are but so are grocery stores in general, something is always cheaper somewhere else. Plus they’re also very limited in items you can purchase. Not worth paying for membership unless you live far away from grocery stores. I can purchase that 4th and Heart ghee at my local store for $9.99 while TM sells it for $11.99.

  • Bobby I think if you are going to make videos about foods that can lower BP you should put/mention a disclaimer at the beginning. I see many comments coming through how people are not taking meds for HBP. Not everyone cam be off meds. I am a nurse and saw too many people who ended up with strokes from not taking their prescribed meds. There are people who are under tbe impression that diet alone can change everything. For some people yes and for others no. If I were you I would mention at the beginning of these types of videos that you are only giving info about foods that can possibly help their situation but everyone should talk to their doctor. Even md sites that give advice about diet say to consult with your own md first

    @maril1379@maril13792 жыл бұрын
    • As a pharmacist, I also am concerned about this. Thank you posting your comment because suddenly lowering or stopping blood pressure medications without checking with your doctor can be deadly. • @@smileswyo Rebound hypertension. Excellent point! As an aside, I'm also concerned when he gives advice on diabetes. As you know, medication dosage, including insulin, is based, in part, on diet. A radical change in diet, without adjusting med dosage, can have serious consequences. Jay - MD

      @Jay-xw6hr@Jay-xw6hr2 жыл бұрын
    • As a person who was diagnosed with HBP and type 2 diabetes I am puzzled by the comments here, hypertension and type 2 diabetes can be reversed really quickly... I don't take BP meds nor do I take insulin and no longer am I even considered diabetic per my doc, everything Bobby is promoting is exactly what I did nutritionally plus resistance training and cardio. American's are over medicated, have poor nutritional density in our food and truly sleep deprived. I would also like to add our medical doctors are trained in a curriculum that has medicine attached not food for healing so of course they will promote meds hence the over medicated part...

    • So sorry to hear about your child. As far as your health is concerned, high blood pressure is nothing to fool around with. It’s no secret that I’m not a big Bobby fan. Especially when he gives advice that can actually hurt people. When I read your post, I’m concerned that you believe that Celtic Sea salt if OK if you are hypertensive. In spite of what Bobby may say, it is not! If you are salt sensitive, any salt is bad for you. You can not use food to treat hypertension. If you are not already doing so, please seek professional medical treatment, from a qualified doctor. Take care of yourself! Jay - MD

    • @@Jay-xw6hr can I ask, if you don’t like Bobby then why are you on here and giving advice? No one is asking for your advice or anyone’s advice per se. Now, Bobby hasn’t said anything that’s “harmful” at all as many people have pointed out in other comments you’ve made. He’s saying what to stay away from when using food as a way to heal. Did he say anywhere in the video not to use medicine or not to see your doctor? He’s only providing information we should all know about regarding what’s in these so called foods we eat and guiding us toward what’s best for us and what to look for? I wouldn’t eat canola oil or peanut oil but yes, I’d eat extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil. With the pandemic, we have see what our medical industry is truly capable of and while there are some awesome doctors out there, there are also some really bad ones who don’t care about their patients. The industry is starting to show its true colors which is why so many people have lost trust in their doctors and in medicine. When side effects are brutal, no one needs to take those meds. Let’s practice healthy eating, walking and enjoying life, and look for the root cause of the issue, not bandaids.

  • Bobby, you should look into Dr. James DiNicolantonio’s work showing that low salt diets are actually the opposite of good health. Salt is not the problem for the vast majority of people.

  • Foods to eat to lower your BP beside reducing your salt intake: 1. Potassium rich foods (baked potatoes, pistachios, avocado, Swiss chard raw, prunes, spinach cooked, dried apricots, sweet baked potatoes, banana.....) 2. Magnesium rich foods (cocoa powder, Brazil nuts, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, spinach boiled, Swiss chard, white beans, black beans, oatmeal...) 3. Calcium rich foods (Yogurt non fat or low fat, soy milk calcium fortified, collard greens cooked, sardines canned with bones, Edamame, tofu...) 4. Soy (tempeh, tofu, Edamame, soy nuts, soy milk..) 5. Dark Chocolate (2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder or one to 2 square of dark chocolate). And the best of the best, deep breathing for 5 minutes will lower your blood pressure like crazy.

  • Can you make a low mold diet for people with weak immune systems. I don't eat citric acid (the synthetic kind in most boxed foods - it's made from GMO corn and mold) or mushrooms, or anything derived from fungus or mold.

  • Thanks for a great video! Can you do a kidney friendly video? Some folks with kidney disease need to avoid too much potassium, phosphorus and salt. Also, whole grain bread would be something to avoid as it stresses the kidneys.

  • I’m trying to explain your healthy suggestions, especially for better health to my dad and his wife. The problem is my dad doesn’t speak English too good, and his wife doesn’t speak English at all. Do you have any videos in Spanish or any suggestions for other people who make Spanish videos like yours, Especially explaining the chemicals the are dangerous in foods before harvesting or chemicals in animals?
