I have been following your excellent videos for a while now, and I wish you the best in your new home. We live on the Greek island of Lesbos, just opposite Ayvalik, quite a bit to the north from where you are. We love to be able to visit Turkey again now, after 2 1/2 years.

An interesting insight. Wishing you all the best with the refurbishment works. Years ago I had my apartment in Istanbul refurbished before moving in, and now I'm planning to move down south once I've found my dream loft apartment with potential. Not easy. Perhaps bashing two small apartments into one large unit is the answer.

Thanks for such an insightful video. I love renovations and am wondering, how much do you see your property increasing in value after renovating? In the US it's crazy how a simple renovation jacks up the price and I'm really curious how it is in Turkey. Again awesome content 👍

Kolay gelsin Mick and Trudie. Would you happen to know what kind of large birds I used to see soaring over the sleeping giant of Kaş? They are some kind of large raptor and make a strange quorking noise when nearby. I think I also saw the same type of raptors flying over Pinara and Tlos.
