  • Something that bothers me, where were the two aliens that were coming to attack them at the end of the first movie? Evelyn and Reagan were going to take on these two aliens that are coming for them after they hear the shotgun blast. Evelyn cocking the shotgun at the end of the first movie sets that up. Then with the second movie we just cut them leaving the house. They set up a bad ass fight! I wanted to see a bad ass fight!

  • I honestly love the behind the scenes of these Kill Counts. I thought this movie was just okay and mostly a cash grab, but when James points out all the careful detail and great filmmaking it makes the movie much better in my eyes. It wasn’t just about money, there was still obvious care and dedication put into the movie. The script wasn’t as solid but I chock that up to it just not being planned. Everything else is still up to par with the first movie. I’ll have to watch this one again with my newfound appreciation of it thanks to this video.

    • I only disagree because the aliens get incredibly less... dangerous. There's no way they would have taken over the world, or even a small portion of it, with how many weaknesses they have. In the first one, you can *kind of* suspend disbelief as far as sound and armor goes, especially since you don't know how many of them there are. Sure, in reality the weakness would be found quickly, and that armor has no chance of stopping high power weaponry that humans have developed, but sure. Maybe there were billions of them. With the second film, not only can they not swim (they would never leave the continent they landed on) but there can't be more than... maybe a few hundred of them. A meteor strike would definitely kill them on impact, as well, but ignoring that, there's no way they would spread given how many lakes, rivers, and other bodies of water carve up the united states. They would be quarantined and killed quickly. pulls me out of the movie too much to actually be afraid of the monsters when I realize there's no chance they would actually be dangerous or numerous enough to cause any real damage.
