This isn't a reasonable defense. If he hit her one time you might have an argument. This is indefensible behavior especially for a 50 year old man. • just remember there were some harsh words that led up to the slap. there always are. and there is the problem the slap is a harsh reaction that is a problem butthe problem was born of words being rudely, harshly, selfishly, and unlovingly vocally exchanged.

No, Neither of them is innocent. My piont is they both need counseling. The slaps were results of other things said to each other. And those things also may need addressing. • I believe you're comment is the most practical and accurate. Once this occurs the only thing you can do is never let it occur again and apologize for your actions. He has apologized although he could use the word domestic violence and or abuse he says this kind of thing happens but he just can't get himself to say those other words. Nonetheless it was retaliatory and actually in this kind of situation even in the United States they probably wouldn't charge him because he reacted to getting hit. He didn't need to slap her twice though and that is something he should react to as a public figure especially of a fighting organization. Nonetheless there's nothing else he can do about it but never let it happen again. He has apologized and he doesn't need to continue doing that over and over again.
