    • @@maximloos3739 who wins prime wladimir or prime Ali and how?

      @kingdomofanimaria@kingdomofanimaria Жыл бұрын
    • @@kingdomofanimaria Prime Wladimir. I'm sorry, I truly appreciate the greatness of Ali and he was great for his era, but people need to realize athletes improve over time. Ali was beaten by Frazier who is much, much smaller than Wladimir. Wladimir is one of the most underrated, if not the most underrated heavyweight ever and I've been researching his career for years as I'm a boxer myself and I'm trying to copy many of his techniques. You asked how, and I'm going to give you a detailed explanation. Emmanuel Steward, the former trainer of Lennox Lewis, Tommy Hearns, Shannon Briggs, Oscar de La Hoya, Tyson Fury, James Toney, Naseem Hamed, Johnathan Banks, Julio Cezar Chávez and many more, created Wladimir into the nearly unbeatable fighter he once was. He gave him his jab and grab style, which, although might have been boring to some, was extremely effective. This is what Steward said regarding Wladimir klitschko - Wladimir is the most athletic heavyweight he had ever seen, he had the best footwork of any heavyweight he had ever seen. He had the best jab in history, followed by Lennox Lewis and Larry Holmes. "I have never seen anyone like him, he's the most accurate, single punch knockout artist I've ever seen. A guy can be completely fine, not hurt, and Wladimir can put his lights out with a single shot." "Lennox Lewis can restructure an entire fight, but in terms of pure boxing arsenal, Wladimir is better. " And in terms of power, here are some of the things sparring partners who've sparred with some of the greatest heavyweights in history, including Tyson, Holyfield, Wilder, Lennox, Bowe, Holmes, Tua, Foreman and many more. And the sparring partner I'm talking about isn't some random guy, he mentioned things Holyfield said to him far before it was publicly admitted. "Wladimir hit me the hardest by far though. I couldn't get past the jab, and his right hands hits like thunder. They reminded me of Lewis', but they were quicker and sharper. Wladimir staggered me regularly in sparring. There are literally whole rounds I don't remember. He also knocked me out with a left hook. Not down, out. Only time I've seen canvas and not been able to stand up by 10 seconds. " "Wlad hurt me with every punch and I could never get anything going. He's the only man to knock me out. I'll never forget that left hook. Lennox had a great left hook too but chose to throw it in combinations. Wlad would crack you with it without warning." Because of the numerous statements I've heard I would also rate Wladimir as the hardest puncher in history. The only guy who may beat him because they could never be compared as sparring partners didn't fight both of them, would be Earnie Shavers. And a few have also said Wilder may have a faster straight right. But Wladimir knocked Eddie Chambers out cold with a left hook in the last seconds of round 12. Very few fighters have that much power left in round 12. It's also rumored that he had the hardest punch ever measured, however I couldn't find hard evidence about it so I won't say it's a fact. If Wladimir wasn't as good as he was, everyone would say it was a good boxing era. Imagine if Ali dominated the 70's, Tyson dominated the 80's and Lennox dominated the 90's. Do you think the 70's would still be called "The golden age" if a single fighter beat everyone with ease? This is a fact with almost all sports. Take formula 1 for example- When Schumacher first started winning championships, everyone loved him, however when he started dominating, everyone loved hating him and started making excuses as to why he did so well. This also applied to Vettel, Hamilton and it's starting to happen to Verstappen at the moment. Think about this - in the recent half century of boxing, only three fighters dominated the scene. Larry Holmes and the Klitschko's. And both eras were named as terrible. And in terms of excitement, yes, it might be worse, but that doesn't take away from how great the Klitschko's were. It doesn't make their opponents any worse. They are both undoubtedly 2 of the best champions in history. The fact Wladimir could still put up a very good fight against AJ at the age of 41 shows how good he was. Ali fought his last fight at 39 and lost to Trevor Berbick, who is miles worse than AJ. Now, I know we're talking about prime v prime here, I just want to show even with how much worse Wladimir got he was still good enough to nearly knock AJ out. Fighters don't have entire eras named after them without boxing ability. The Klitschko's are the most successful pair of heavyweight boxers in history. They have an unmatched record of 109 - 7 - 0, with 94 knockouts - a knockout percentage of 86% In fact, if we go on pure boxing ability alone and not achievements, just prime vs prime, the 3 greatest heavyweights in my book, in no particular order, would be Wladimir, Vitali and Lennox. Some parts of this statement was copy and pasted from another reply so some of the things I'm saying may not seem completely applicable to our conversation. If you have any questions, please let me know. As I've said, I've been studying his style and his career for years now, trying to incorporate his best attributes to my style. I haven't only studied his style though, I've tried to incorporate the best attributes of all the great heavyweights into my style. The uppercut from Lennox and the bodyshots from briggs are some other attributes I'm trying to incorporate.

No car park punch ups or escapades outside the ring and certainly no rape charges or any other unsound feral conducts that so often seem to accompany many American fighters. They were also very well managed . Vitali had a German trainer . Both also had a German promoter . They both met King at his house for an interview and when King promised them 'mountains of gold' and pretended to play a self playing piano they looked at each other and agreed to say good bye to the hustler . Cant trust a man that pretends to paly a self playing piano. Astute and not greedy . Had they been less astute they both made have been taken down the primrose path by King. The biggest hustler and shark that ever promoted fighters. I despise King for so many things . He exploited and ruined so many squeezing out the last drop .

Both Klitschko brothers are snipers with their punches. Standing back in a defensive position was the worst thing Mercer could’ve done. He was picked apart.

If he wants to win against usyk he needs to get that aggressive style back. That's what Lacked klitschko in the fury fight, fury knew wladimir would fight different in the rematch but sadly it never came to one. Wladimir said he would let his hand go in the 2nd fight. Fury also said he would be a different fighter and he is one because he doesn't fight for money, he has made enough, he fights for hystory and his legacy. Klitschko is one of the most constant and determined boxers ever. Even in his retirement he in better shape then most top10 fighters.
