Giving 7 pups a bath all at once or getting them all to line up for a picture is no easy feat! But it's just another day in my life. Thanks for watching as I take you along and show you how I do it all!

Please put a silicone mat in the bath tub. This prevents the sweet little guys from sliding away and from feeling insecure :)

So adorable! A couple things: 1.) You need to make sure they are thoroughly wet before you add any pet shampoo product. 2.) Make sure all the soap is completely rinsed out of their fur/off of their skin. Any shampoo that remains on their skin can dry out their fur, and also cause itchiness, making them scratch and want to lick their fur, body, and paws. If you don't have a handheld shower you should use an unbreakable pitcher to have enough water to thoroughly rinse them. All the best, -H

White collar is the MOST AMAZING of the group for me!! S/he sat quietly in the back corner of the tub then never left your side, not interested in the pups, only has eyes for you.

This brings back some memories of when our dog was a pup. Our Berner turns 11 in a few weeks. He's been a great therapy dog for the past 8 years or so. Highly intelligent even for Berners and a great personality. I couldn't quite follow the colored collars with all the action, but the pup with the white (or whitish) collar reminded me of him. Calm, friendly, curious, and wanted to be with his person. Great video.
Amazing age for a Berner! Ours is only 5 months! I hope he will be a long living Berner as well ❤
See how gentle the person is with the dogs. These experiences last a lifetime. The dogs remember; they never forget. This will make the process easier going forward. So cute.

I can tell who's the rebel: it's the one sitting in the back of the tub. He/she is also the one staying close to the person who is drying the pups. No doubt s/he is the one leaning in the opposite direction in the group photo. I want that one!

It's when you get them all together for an activity that you can really see the personality differences. Some of them will be lower energy and good for older people, some will have that "working dog energy" where they just need to be doing something. They are more like people than people would like to admit. : )
It’s so funny I just stumbled across this video because I almost adopted from you about a year and a half ago! I didn’t even realize this was you until a couple minutes into the video! I ended up finding a Bernese (from Ohio as well) that I absolutely fell in love with during my search and he is literally my entire heart! You have been and still are on my list of breeders if I adopt another! 💗 I know they’re small but I don’t know how you handled bathing 7 Berner babies at once. I could barely handle bathing my one when he was 6 months old and not even fully grown yet! 😅

OMG, Berners are my fave breed! I've always wanted one, but we live in a little 2K sq ft townhouse with a yard the size of a postage stamp. Not the right house for a large dog, but I love them. Thanks so much for the cuteness!

What a great way to get very young puppies to enjoy bath time, which is so important. The only suggestion I would offer is maybe get a non-slip mat for the tub so they can feel even more secure. Puppies are very impressionable, and even the most insignificant negative experience can imprint on their brains for life. But this was definitely a positive experience. Good job.

Awesome to see seven amazing Berner pups. However, you have to continuously talk to them and reassure them, as even such great breeds as the Bernese can be really insecure at times. My Tonto, who is now eight years old, still needs loads of fuss and attention, even though he is 'a big boy', now. I loved the one who sat calmly in the back corner of the bath, and kept very quiet. Also, when you got them out to dry them, there was one little pup who wouldn't leave your side, and followed you every where - he/she is definitely YOUR dog........ Great video, thank you.
Yes! Berners are so personable!! They do love to be talked to and follow you everywhere. They tend to choose one person as their favorite 🥰

@M. 1607 I know - it also has a similar meaning in Spanish, but it was our daughters who chose his name, after Jonny Depp's portrayal of the Lone Ranger's partner in the film. It did sound catchy, at the time, and sort of suited the 'daft' side of his character.

Great to acclimate them very young to the 'joy' of bathing. Make it a positive experience. .....with the the exception of pink collar. He/she want to go! And white collar was certainly supervising your drying technique..Lol

They are all so beautiful but why on earth would you try bathing all seven at the same time?! I love how, once they have escaped the tub, all is instantly forgiven… tails wagging happily, all surrounding Mom with great spirit and affection.
I can't decide if it's faster to bathe them all at once or bathe them one at a time 😂 Either way it's quite the job!
@@heffeff This was highly edited and also sped up. You only see 5 minutes of what took over an hour! I promise you every puppy was well washed and fully blow dried.

That's because many dogs, who are not used to being washed generally, accept the face wash less then anything else. If they get used to it from the puppy-age, they don't care about the face getting wet too.
