Restoration Water Pumps Electric Old Rusty Restore Water Pum motor Perfectly Made in Vietnam. We found an old water pump rusting in the field. The water pump was seriously damaged and completely inoperable. We restored the pump using the simplest tools. We used the skills we learned from my teacher to perfect that pump. It has worked very well. I will give this pump to poor families who need it. Thanks for watching.

Great job restoring that pump, I have to admit that at first glance I gave up on anything being done to save that pump but your skill and perseverance saved the day. Great skills you have, just buy some more tools, even one at a time, you have the ability you just need the tools to make it a bit easier. All I can say is well done and be proud of your work. Good job up until the wiring. The power cord needs a strain relief, the wire connections should be soldered (or at least wire nutted), and there needs to be ground wire. I'm almost certain the power cord needs a sealing grommet and the wiring enclosure needs to be sealed.

You put paint on machined surfaces of the pump with no gasket or seals. It will leak and make a fine lawn sprinkler.

Why didn't you use a mains cord with an earth lead. You're playing with fire without the earth, especially since the unit is used for pumping water... 5/10

As an engineer he doesn't have a clue No need to grind off bolts just penetrating oil and a ring spanner is required and always mark the housings and the end plates so you fit them back in exactly the same place
He is so lucky that those bolts had no threads all the way to the top😆

Was there no gasket between the two pump halfs.
Always use wd 40 on rusty bolts and give it time to work

@@jaymecluka6444 dunno, but i don't like that smoke 13:10. Looks like some sort of acid, and aggressive one. It's not good to use for rust removing. Too risky

Whoa! Please read the posts. You will thank everyone for the hints later in life or you will kick your own butt for not listening. First and foremost, wear a mask. The acid pour without one was so dangerous! The wire brush on questionable metal was the second most dangerous and in general you put your health to risk by not seeming to care about dust by not using oil or water to keep it down. Please try the ideas posted. COPD is a horrible condition at best, cancer and/or lung cancer is in your future if you don't heed these warnings. Blessings to those who love you and will watch you suffer in your future. Please listen.

A bit confused as to why he has a American flag screw driver if he isn't in the US? Seems really odd to me... Also that really long T handle for his sockets really really kills the amount of torque he can put on those bolts!
