  • There is no way that he can get the plastic hull that white and clean- this is definitely a new one. I doesn’t look like a real restoration. It seams like he is just assembling a newly bought kit

    • I would use bleach & a brush to clean plastic & it seems to me that at 6-36, the boat was spray painted.

  • I think you took more time making this boat look dirty and old than it took to return it back to normal. We all know that you didn't just find it there with the cover right next to it . It was purposely placed near the two landmarks which were the round lids.

  • I like the theme. I usually buy the models to be restored or other technical curiosities in the second-hand market. I usually wash the printed circuits with nitro thinner. If there is an opto electrical component, I will clean it with alcohol. The nitro thinner makes the plastic optical elements matt.
