After reacting to Kai "Mmmh" and a couple of EXO videos such as "Monster" and "Obsession" I couldn't wait to check out Kai's new single.

  • Did you see the dance clips from his concert?! Omg especially the "Vanilla" and "Come In" choreography is just amazing. KAI doesn't just record albums, he creates masterpieces.

    • @@RadostinaPetrova Dude!!! If you haven't seen his (legendary) fan cams you should go search them now. I'm a dancer myself and this will show you exactly why dancers admire him. Lookup these kai fan cams: Tempo, Loveshot where he has a red suit, and the eve where he has this hawaiian like grren shirt. You're welcome!

  • Same, I aslo like the feeling of "Kai's team" and not only background dancers. And I also really cherish the intriguing dance moves with the female dancers. They are part of the choreography and are not just there to grind on...

  • The dancers for this album/concert this time are not the same as the previous one. These are choreographers and dance instructors. In the MV, Kai was wearing modernised hanbok (grey), and the hat is called gat. It's not a cowboy thing.

  • Ah please check out his albums if you liked the singles! His b-sides are excellent - he's very specific in choosing them and getting them to sound how he wants. Just as he is with the choreo and the visual aspects in the music video and album booklets. He had the song Peaches before he'd even heard Mmmh and kept it back to work on it until he and the producer got it to sound how he wanted. I also really think you should check out Kai : Film and Kai Peaches Prologue Film for more dancing. If you liked this then I am sure you will like those too. There's going to be (and has already been, so you might recognise some watching them a bit later) a lot of borrowing of the visual and choreo aspects from these two films. If you do a lot of kpop reactions then it's probably worth it just from a base knowledge point of view even if you don't film a reaction to them. For this mv and choreo he IS telling a story, so good catch. It's based on a combination of a fable called the peach blossom spring and the idea of gods and paradise, hence the fairytale aspect of the music video. The lyrics are basically talking about always wanting to be with the person you love, and the 'bad guy' lyric is about temptation and how he is tempting her to abandon everything else and just spend time with him (like he's her 'bad hobby' as the lyrics also say). He knew he could tell a story with this song, so that's why he perfected it until it could be the title track for this album. He said he already has the title song for his next one and is working on that too. I'm glad you liked this! I think a lot of people were worried about whether he could match his first album, including him haha. He must be very relieved seeing the reactions and how well his hard work paid off.

  • Umm... Actually, it's not like a cowboy thing. It's the 'Gat'(hat) that 'Seonbi' used to wear. It's difficult, so to be more specific, it's a hat worn by people of the Seonbi class in the old days of Korea.
